Thinking of You Sympathy cards

Hi Stampers,

Happy Monday friends !

I needed to make (2) Sympathy cards

We needed 1 for my hubby's apprentice 

 who lost a loved one.

I used the butterfly on his card. 

  I also added Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake to both sides of the inside

  so  Rich could get everyone at work to sign it .

(Nothing wose than not having enough room  for everyone to write a nice message inside) .

The 2nd card I made for our  friends Brian and Jennifer 

Brian lost his father in a terrible car accident .

I thought for the inside of their card I would carry over the

Gold Foil sheet#132622

  by adding the small cluster of dragonflies

from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits # 142749

which I cut (2) apart to add in the inside .

For both cards I used the Thinking of You  from 

Wetlands stamp set

and embossed the greeting with Gold Embossing powder #109129

before cutting out the the

Stitched Shapes Framelits #145372

for the inside of both cards I used the

Better Together stamp set

Thinking of YOU

Hi stampers,

 Happy Wednesday friends ! 

in my stamp room this week and I wish it were for  fun design time but we have had  sadness around us this month 

One of my Glitter Queens passed away  while we were away  on our cruise  earlier this month and  I found out one of my customers  son passed a few just a few days ago and then  my moms boyfriend Bill his brother in law passed away Christmas  Day. Bill  got the call when we were eating Christmas dinner . 

Such a hard time any time a loved one passes away and around the holidays.

I know there is NO perfect time  for such sadness,  my heart hurts for all  the families who are going through a hard time  this holiday season .

I used the Paisleys & Posies stamp set # 142196  with the Paisley Framelits # 141849

which you can  still get them in a bundle and save 10%  # 143515 until January 3 , 2017

With Sympathy...

Hi Stampers , 

I made this card for Roanna , such a sweet lady.

 I found out from my friend Cindy HERE that Roanna passed away unexpectedly  . I so blessed to have met her  .

I remember meeting her for the 1st time at convention and she cried  which I started crying too .

• What a sweet moment .

I sent this card to her family  yesterday .

My card today was inspired from a swap I received from Wendy Lee  on the Incentive trip  on the Mediterranean  cruise with Stampin'Up!  

I add embellish mine a lot lore with the Basic Pearls # 119247

 and  added an extra layer of Gold Foil sheets # 132622 and  my base  I used Rich Razzleberry card stock #115316

The greeting  for the front and inside are both from Rose Wonder stamp set # 140697

The Swirly Scribbles Thinlits # 141497 were used with

• Gold Foil Sheets # 132622
•  Rich Razzleberry card stock #115316
•  Sweet Sugarplum  card stock # 141418

The leaves  are Wild Wasabi card stock # 108641 and  cut out  with the Rose Garden Framelits # 140619

All layers of the swirls and leaves were  put together  before laying onto the Whisper white card stock # 100730 with

Multipurpose Liquid Glue # 110755.

 I also added a 1/2" strip of Gold Glimmer paper to the edge of Whisper White .

Today  we will be making this card .

You may remember the card I posted last week  using Tip Top Taupe ( posted below)  . I had  so many requests for me to make a video on this card . 

The only difference is that I  changed the color to Mint Macaron  since I do not have the Tip Top Taupe version any longer ~ I gave it away .

 I  also show you in today's video how this card  could be for any occasion  I actually changed the Tip Top Taupe  version  to a Sympathy card.

Sympathy card for Carol

Here is a card I made for my  friend Carol who is also one of my stamper club girls . She wasn't able to attend this last weeks club night  because of her Father passing away .

Her Father was 92  and will surely be missed by her and her family.

Sympathy card for co-woker

Hi Stampers:

Happy Monday  friends !

Here is  another Sympathy card I made this time for my hubbys co worker  who's wife lost twin babies  this past Thursday .  She was suppose to give birth  this  upcoming Friday... it's so sad .

Hubby called me from work  as soon as  he found out and asked if I could make a sympathy card for him and his wife and everyone  at work  could sign  and add money  for them .

I used the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set

 with the Itty Bitty punch pack #118309  for the  little flowers on the tree  in Wisteria Wonder # 122922.

Other card stock colors I used  are :

• Crumb Cake #120953
• Early Espresso #119686

Here is what  the inside of the card looks like .

I used the Eyelet Border punch ( retired )   along with the Daydream Jumbo wheel # 126939  for the background with Crumb Cake classic ink # 126975.

I also used the Champagne  Mist Shimmer paint  # 116806 for the front and Inside of the card .

I then added a bunch of Basic Pearls # 119247.

Sympathy card for my Pastor

Hi Stampers :

Happy Wednesday friends !

I made this card yesterday for my Pastor who's Mother passed away this past Monday .

I have an older video from 2009 on this type of card you can click HERE  to view that .

I used Comfort cafe  designer paper  along with a piece of 12" x 12" Whisper White card stock #124302 and  Crumb Cake card stock #120953

I also used  Thoughts & Prayers stamp set

and also Trust God stamp set

• (c)# 126702

I also used the 3" Circle Bigz die # 122125   and the 3 1/2" Circle Bigz  die# 121811  for the front along with the Crumb Cake Seam Binding ribbon #122332 and the  5/8" Victoria Crochet Trim # 118481.

I then added some Basic Pearls #119247 to the small flowers on the front as well .

Stamped all images with Early Espresso classic ink # 126974 & Sponged all the edges with the Stamping Sponges # 101610 & Crumb Cake classic ink # 126975
