Hi Stampers,
Today we will be making this beautiful card
using a technique called Faux Quilted background .
I got a swap card from my friend Karen Duke and she used this technique
on her swap and I fell in love with her card .
I have made so many of these which you can tell from all the photos posted today .
Here are the measurements of today's card
Melon Mambo card stock # 115320
cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
cut at 3 3/4" x 5"
Silver Foil Sheets # 132178
cut at 4" x 5 1/4"
I mention in today's video I would finish the square background
and here that is along with the diamond shaped
I will be showing you both in today's video.
Here are a few others using.
*Elegant Eggplant
*Tempting Turquoise
Here is Karen's swap
the one that inspired it all .
Thank you Karen.

Wow! I love this card and the technique! Thank you for sharing. I can't wait to give it a try.
I noticed the magnetic sheets you store your thinlits on and was wondering if you could tell me who makes them and where I can purchase some. Are they a specific weight or thickness?
Thanks again, you are an inspiration to me"

I tried this technique in the past but it never came out right but you make it look so easy that I am going to try again. They are beautiful.

I love the card, but as I watched the video I wondered if I had the patience to make 20 Valentine's Day cards........I think you have more patience than I do. LOL Love it.

Gorgeous cards. Now I have some scoring, folding and inking to do tonight, because I love the background and will use it for Valentine's Day cards. Thank you, Dawn.
