Dawn your tip about using an empty dimensional paper to slide you hand was great. And when you used to embossing buddy on you card stock, stamped the larger stamp upside down onto the card stock and made sure that the stamp was the same position as the hat punch were all great suggestions. You make card making fun!!

Think I found my xmas card. Cute and simple. Love it!

Very pretty card. Easy to mass produce. The tips are to stamp your images so they line up with the punch, not over heat the glitter embossing powder(it will lose it's shine) and to use the empty dimension paper as a mat while running the glue down the sides for easy gliding.
I like the card stock colors together also. Have a nice day.

Cute card. I liked the tip about stamping your image so that the punch fits properly. Another tip was not to overheat the glitter.

Love your card, and that is a great tip for card making!

I think there will be a few of these cards traveling through the mail this year! It is easy but you would not know that from looking at it. The red glitter really jazzes it up and of course the Santa hat is adorable! OBTW I just love your nail polish color looks like it would go with everything. Have a great week Dawn hope your leg is doing much better. Please be safe and take care. x

Now, this is a fun card! I had some of the gold glitter embossing powder someone gave me a few years ago and now I know why parts of the embossed image did not glitter and shine as well. Thanks for that tip as well as sliding the dimensional paper! Then, the idea of just running the line down the edge instead of using the glimmer paper - fantastic! Such a fun and easy card but what tips you gave me! Just when I didn't think I needed that hat punch! Can you tell I love this card? Hope both of you are doing better than a week or two ago....

The tips are: to line up the stamped images with the punch, not to over heat the glitter, and use the dimensional backing sheet to make a slippery surface. Very cute card too.

Love how easy it looks to make the card - and it's absolutely adorable! Love the red glitter embossing powder! Your hint looks like it would really help give you a steady hand -- good to find an idea to reuse something that I would just have discarded! :)Thanks!!

Love this card....all the sparkle-wow
Can't wait to try your tips-using the
"slippery" paper under your hand...and
the one about lining up your stamp with
the punch...love that idea.
Thanks for all you do.

Cute CAS card. Have not used glitter embossing powder before, but it is on my list of things to try. TFS

Your shiny paper tip would work when using a pen/flair to trim the edge, also. Usually I use a silver or gold pen to a little glitz. Love the video.

A shiny sheet of paper to help your hand glidewhen laying down a bead of glue, dont' over heat embossing powder with glitter, and stamp your image so that it will be positioned to easily punch it, were fantastic tips for making this cute card!

Dawn that card is way cute. Using shiny paper when applying the glue is a great idea. I think I over heat the glitter and didn't realise that was the problem. I'm going to try again.Thank you.

Oh so cute!

Love it.

Oh my word. I simply love love love the red W/the crumb cake cards stock. That red is gorgeous along with this awesome card. I love your crafty stampin ideas!!! Thanx for sharing.

The glimmer paper and the embossing powder add the perfect glitz to this card!

Oh I just love this one Dawn!!! Once again you keep things simple & I really appreciate all of your wonderful hints!!!

Love this card - takes me back to my childhood . . .

Love this card!!! Very simple Christmas Card

What a great card! Thanks for the extra tips. I had wondered about the embossing glitter, now it has been explained. Thanks.

Dawn, you give us such great inspiration. I love your videos and the beautiful projects you do. Thanks.

This card is terrific. Nice tips too. TFS

Using the empty dimensional paper so that your hand moves smoothly is a great idea. And thanks for the heads up about not being careful when heating the red or emerald green envy embossing paper. Love this card. Simple and very pretty.

I love the card. The colors are so vivid.Love the red embossing.

Love the hat and the red embossing glitter makes the card pop!

Too cute, thanks for sharing!!

What a good tip about the slippery paper. I do have problems with keeping my moves smooth. And I've wasted a lot of paper by not thinking about where my image is before I punch. I used to overheat regular embossing powder sometimes. Good to know that the glitter "empo" needs extra care. I learn stuff every time I watch your videos! You're the best! m2

Great tutorial. Very cute card. Thank you.

Cute card! Thanks for the continual inspiration!

Love the glitter!

Love this card!

Darling card! Love the kraft and red combo!

Cute card!

Great tip about the empty dimensional paper, I WILL remember that. Also using the embossing buddy, so many forget to use it and it really makes a difference. I just knew when I saw the red and green glitter embossing powder, that you would be using it!! Thanks for the great tips.

Sometimes easy can be the most beautiful. I love glitter and I love to emboss. Thanks for the tip on over heating. Can't wait to try this card.

A nice simple Christmas card, love the hat

Thanks for the great tutorial and cute card!

I love this card. I have the bundle but not the Greeting set but after seeing this card I need to get it!!!
Thanks Dawn.

Great card. Wasn't going to get the hat punch, guess I will now. TFS!

If you want you can use your versa mark around the edge of your paper for a border. I didn't know you could use glue to heat set embossing powder. Great.

I absolutely love this card!

You are amazing! I have been following you for years and I think your one of the very BEST!!!!!! Thank-You for sharing.
