Happy Monday friends ! 

Here is a card I made over the weekend . I kind of got carried away with all the flowers  which started out  just adding a few around the "Thank you so much" and then  before I knew it, it was covered ... I love it ! 

The card base is Tip Top Taupe #138325 . 

 I sponged the Whisper White piece with Crumb Cake classic ink # 126975  focusing the sponging  around the "Thanks so much" and then the edges I sponged with Early Espresso classic ink # 126974 .

The center of all my flowers I used the (dots) from  Cupcake Builder punch #121807  with Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper #135315  and then on a few ( okay  a lot) of them I added a basic Rhinestones # 119246  to make it  sparkle even more .

I made this card  this last week for my hubby to give to a co worker who is leaving and getting  a new job .

 Seriously I am so late  to jump on the boat with this awesome set BUT guess what you can still get this set for FREE   during Sale-a-Bration  well at least when I check last night after  my stampers club  it was still available .

So I guess I  didn't miss the boat after all and  you can still pick it for one of your FREE items if you want  BUT not sure for how long  .

I  did the back ground of clouds with the  Tree Builder punch#138295 and sponged the  clouds with Soft Sky classic ink #131181 .

ICYMI Friday February 26, 2016

• Winter isn't over !

I guess it's like washing my car and then the next day it rains LOL! 

As soon as I  said I thought Spring was right around the corner~  Wednesday & Thursday we got 8-10 "of snow~ Ugh! 

I really hate to say anything but this weekend  we will be in the mid 40's and "hopefully" it all melts .

Tomorrow night is my local stamp club can't wait to stamp and hang out with my friends .

I have had many emails  asking about the Get Better Quick Kit video posted HERE .

Regarding the  individual packs of Halls Cough drops .

YES they are no where to be found at local grocery stores looks like everyone  sells the bags of cough drops  which are  more cost effective but the bag won't fit into the little kit  right ... NO fear  

I did find mine at my local 7-Eleven and I heard that Circle K has them also .

I would also check your local gas station like Speedway . If you find them anywhere else please let me know and I will add to the list on the video link.

One Sheet Wonder Note cards and Box with It's My Party Designer Paper video

Hi Stampers,

Today we will be making this adorable box  that holds (4) Note cards and (4) Envelopes .

Like yesterday video  on the  box of note cards posted HERE  but this box uses (1) sheet of 12" x 12" It's My Party designer paper  for the box and the  note cards Hence the name One Sheet Wonder . 

The One Sheet Wonder projects have been around forever.

• What is a One Sheet Wonder ?

One Sheet Wonder takes (1) Piece of 12" x 12" and make precise cuts in precise directions to make and/or decorate multiple projects using  that 1 piece of 12" x 12".

Dawn's Sunday Share 2-21-2016

Hi Stampers,

Happy Sunday friends ! 

I mentioned on Friday that I would try and get photos of the new  roman shades we  got  from Blinds.com  and these photos were the best I could get of the before's . WOW what a difference  it made .

We 1st  started with our dinning room  and the  3 windows we have there are odd shaped so we knew we were going to have to special order them no matter where we went to get them .

BUT Blinds.com was having a special  buy so many and get so many free if I remember right ... so that's when it expanded into  our master bathroom  and also into the kitchen.

 Of course we paid a little extra for the  roman shades to be cordless  and they all open from the top and also from the bottom which is AWESOME!

The Kitchen window didn't have anything and needed something  to block the  sun that was blinding us in the late afternoon.

Yesterday was absolutely beautiful  close to 60 degrees outside made me feel like spring cleaning a little bit . 

I got (2) of the 3 videos  filmed  yesterday  still need to edit them and get them uploaded . We will be making  note cards and matching boxes  in (2) of this weeks video's . Both videos will be using the  Sale-a-Bration stamp set called

ICYMI Friday February 2016

Here are just a few things I will be doing this upcoming week. 

•  Next Saturday we are having my Stampers Club night  so I will get getting things ready for that.

WOW I can't believe how fast the months are flying by. 

Rich is starting on the 2nd half of his  full sleeve tattoo.  Larry is drawing it up &  I  just hope they get it finished before we leave on incentive trip with Stampin'Up! in May.

Stampin'Up! is taking us on a Mediterranean Cruise  this year ( Holy Moly )  

We will be going to : Spain (Barcelona) / Italy ( Naples, Rome & Florence) / France ( Cannes & Marseille ) 

• We would love to hear from anyone about highlights to check out if you have ever been . 

We are having a Spring like Friday here in Michigan.  Today  will be  in mid 50's with some rain hopefully this rain will   washed away  the little bit of snow we still have .

I am just going to say  it ~I am so Thankful for a mild winter this year ~  I know it's not officially over yet so anything can happen but in my  mind I'm feeling like winter could be over ...maybe not the cold temps but hopefully NO more snow .

Wednesday night we had our monthly mix and Mingle  night out  with our Harley  chapter  and I  got asked to  host a stamping event at our house  for all the LOH ( Ladies of Harley) . We are thinking sometime in March  but that's not set in stone yet  just pretty excited to have them over to create and have a fun night .

This Wednesday we also got the last of our  Roman shades we ordered from Blinds.com  and  WOW what a difference  it makes in all the rooms we added them to. We needed to  do a correction with the one we got for the kitchen  so that was the last one we were waiting on . So thankful  Blinds.com did the  reorder  we were allowed 1 redo  without an extra fee . 

I will hopefully get photos & share them with you this Sunday (Hopefully) .

• Live in PA - our drug stores, CVS and Rite-Aid carry the small packs.
• I just checked Amazon. If you are making quite a few, they have a 20 pack for 19.99 (they have different flavors too)
• Yes after hitting 3 drug and 2 grocery...I also found at gas / grocery ..and bought 5...lol they won't go bad.but that that is only place you will find them big stores all have gone to bags...need grab an go places.

• I found the "tube" of halls at Meijer's in Adrian,  on the top shelf in a box just above the packages of individually wrapped cough drops.There were three flavors. While in Minneapolis I found the cutest "Frozen" packs of kleenex tissues. Can't wait to get started!

 I punched  out Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper#135315  with the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack #133787.

Friday mid afternoon we got these beautiful  flowers from Fenton home furnishings  who we bought our bedroom furniture from .... So pretty  and so unexpected .

We are still getting everything in it's place  from upstairs.  

I catch myself  taking a double look at the room when I walk by~  it's seriously  so beautiful ! 

We seen Larry Farley  and  he  said he will try and get the mural video he made uploaded to You Tube for me to get the link to share with all of you .

ICYMI Friday 2-12-2016

Happy Friday friends ! 

Guess what ???

We  finally got our new  Bedroom set delivered  Wednesday  evening  YAHOO! 

  We are so excited ! 

It's been almost 12 weeks since we  ordered our bedroom set and  living  between 2 bedrooms has been  a tad bit crazy  but  it's here and we have to get everything  settled in but it's so much more beautiful then I remember when we ordered it . 

Oh my gosh the head board is ginormous. 

I will try and get better photos once everything is  done . I envisioned a huge beautiful picture over the head board and well lets just say I am so happy we didn't buy anything yet.

Thumping with Markers Technique video

Hi Stampers,

Today we will be making this card . This card  is from my friend Peggy Waite  who  designed this card for her shoe box swap at our last club meeting.

I fell in love with it so much so that I decided to make them for my  Glitter Queens  who reached certain goals for January.

 I did  change a couple things  on the ones I made for my team I thought it would be fun to  use the thumping technique on the  pots and also  for the inside  image .

Doing this technique gives it a very subtle  tie dyed look to to stamped image.

Birthday Wishes

Hi Stampers,

Happy Monday Friends ! 

Here is a birthday card I made over the weekend . I used the Build a Birthday stamp set # 138646 .

 Here are the colors I used  to build the birthday cake .

• Watermelon Wonder  classic ink # 138323
• Mint Macaron classic ink # 138326
• Pool Party classic ink # 126982

I  stamped off  on a couple of the Watermelon Wonder layers  to make  it a lighter shade .

The Base of my card is Whisper White # 100730

• cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" .

I cut the Watermelon Wonder card stock # 138334

•  4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

 to layer perfectly on top of the Whisper White base.

I have been  noticing  a new trend lately with not cutting the top layer of  cards  down by a 1/4"  or even a 1/8"...  just layer on top to cover the  full card front ~  Pretty cool huh?

I also added some sparkle with the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper #135315  and punched Stars out with the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack #133787.

ICYMI Friday February 5th, 2016

Hi Stampers,

Happy Friday friends ! 

I got this adorable birthday card from my friend Donna Griffith ( You may remember Donna from my blog post HERE ) who works at Stampin'Up! and is friends with Shannon West ( we all love Shannon too )  who started a  campaign that is perfectly named #ImBringingBirthdaysBack  .

She said On January 9th  that in her opinion Facebook/ Social Media  has ruined birthday cards, so she's going to use them ( Facebook)  to launch a birthday card campaign.

So imagine my surprise when  I got a birthday card from my sweet friend Donna  even after my official birthday ( January 5th) ~ Thank you Donna !!  

Shannon wanted to make everyone a birthday card that wanted one . She announced all this on Face book  and has over 1,100 people leaving their birthday's in the comment  section~ OH my ! 

Shannon even made her own stamp for the hashtag( see photo) to stamp on the backside of the envelopes . There has been such an overwhelming response to her HUGE campaign  that Sara Douglas  told her that Stampin Up! will be making her  Hashtag stamp for her and all of us that want to join in her campaign. YAHOO! 

The  really cool thing is I started sending all my team Birthday cards in  January well at least the ones that told me their birthday  back  on Dec 7th .

For my Glitter Queens I pined that Birthday  post on our Team Facebook page please go add your birthday if you haven't already .

Needless to say I will be getting Shannon's #ImBringingBirthdaysBack  stamp when it becomes available, which if you want to join this amazing fun and uplifting campaign  too I will let you all know when the stamp becomes available  and we can all change the  world one birthday card at a time .

Today we will be making 1 of the shoe box swaps  we did this past Saturday  night with my  club ladies . We used the brand new Grateful Bunch stamp set # 140612. We will also be using the Blossom Punch bunch # 140612

Split Negative Technique video

Hi Stampers,

Today we will be making this adorable card using the brand new stamp set called Beautiful Ride # 140738.

I did 2 different  cards  one with Real Red card stock #102482 

and the other one is using Red Glimmer Paper # 121790.

We will be making the Red Glimmer  paper version  just because it seems more like a  valentine  card with all those sparkles LOL! 

Here are all the measurement for this card we will be making today .

Basic Black card stock #121045

• cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
• cut at 2 3/8" 3 1/4" ( Layer behind car)

Whisper White  card stock # 100730 

• cut at 2 7/8"  x 4 1/8"( card )
• cut at 3 1/4" x 4 3/4"  (Layer behind card )
• Inside  card  piece cut  at   3 3/4" x 5"

Red Glimmer paper # 121790 or Real Red Card stock # 102482

• cut at 3 1/2" x 5"
• Inside card piece cut at 4" x 5 1/4"

I  used real red for the inside of my card with  the Red Glimmer paper only on the front.

Hi Stampers,

Happy Monday friends ! 

I made this simple card  over the weekend  I used

Lost Lagoon card stock 

• cut at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
• cut at  4" x 5 1/4"

Basic Black card stock #121045

• cut at 4 1/8" x  5 3/8"
• cut at  3 1/4" x 3 3/4"

Whisper White card stock # 100730

• cut at 3" x 3 1/2"

I used the Sale-a-Bration stamp set called Flowering Fields

I highlighted the flower with the White Gel Pen #105021 

The sweet greetings is from the stamp set Suite Sayings

I used the Square Framelits #130911 and  cut out a template for the masking technique  and  used my Sponge Daubers# 133773 to  add the Lost lagoon classic ink# 133644  inside the mask  then stamped the  greeting and the flower with the Basic  Black Archival ink # 140931.

 I finished the card with a  bow using the Whisper White 5/8" Satin ribbon #134549. I attached the bow with a Mini Glue Dot # 103683.

For the background I used the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder which is no longer available .
