Going Global Happy Birthday card .

Happy Thursday friends ! 

Today I wanted to share this  birthday card . If your like me I have a hard time making Masculine cards But today's card  I think fits the bill and would be great for any guy .

I love the Going Global stamp set

I love  how there are different greeting in this set unlike my other favorite masculine sets found on pages 82-84 in the annual catalog .

I really love the compass  and wanted to make that my focal point on my card.

I was also thinking old world map  when stamping the  Tip Top Taupe card stock  #138336 layer ... so I crumbled the card stock and then sponged on the  crease lines with Early Espresso classic  ink#126974.  All layers when sponged with the Early Espresso and a Stamping Sponge # 141337 and I also distressed the edges with my fingernail . 

 The Happy Birthday  on the front is from the Balloon Celebrations stamp set # 140675 I did the same way .The greeting in the inside of my card  is from the Watercolor Card kit # 140406 .

 I also used the Going Places designer paper stack # 140581

 

Here are the measurements of today's card :

Basic Black # 121045 

• cut at 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2

Tip Top Taupe card stock 138336

• cut at 4" x 5 1/4"
• cut at 3" x 3"

 Going Places Designer paper stack # 140581

• cut at 3 3/4" x 5"

Compass  punched out with the 2" circle punch # 133782 and that was stamped on Crumb Cake card stock # 120953

I hand cut out the N-S-E-W  center, then colored  in with Pool Party marker #131904.

I touched a few spots with the White Gel Pen # 105021 with a Vintage Faceted designer button # 127555 in the center. I added a up close photo of the compass  to show all those  details .
