Happy Monday friends !
Today we will be making Puffy Paint PLUS I will be showing you how I made this cardinal bird using the Bird Builder punch # 117191
Counting down to Christmas and I am still in the Christmas Mood, Sorry if you are ready to move on... But I still have a few things I want to share with you . Even if you save these ideas for next year It's still going to be fun .
I can't make any promises BUT I am pretty sure after Christmas I will be getting into my brand new goodies from the Occasions 2016 catalog.
Personal note :
Sometimes I feel like we are moving on to each season faster and faster and I am not just talking about the craft industry, but everywhere in general. Christmas is up at the store before Halloween, then it starts to dwindle down after Thanksgiving and so on .... PLUS there are so many Christmas goodies in my studio I still want to play with.
If you are over Christmas already you can skip this weeks videos and come back and watch them next Christmas .
Here are the items we will be using for the Puffy Paint .Items can be found at your local dollar store .
- White Glue
- Shaving Cream
- Paint brush
- spoon and paper bowl
For the Cardinal Bird we will be using the
- Bird Builder punch #117191

Dawn, I am NOT sick of Christmas ideas and this one is being filed for next year. My mother loved cardinals so the bird has a special place in my family's hearts. I love knowing how to create on with punches that I already have and LOVE the puffy paint snow. Thank you, your ideas are always so cute and I admit that I've CASE'd many of them. Have a wonderful Holiday season and the best New Year ever.

Thank you, thank you for continuing to post Christmas cards and projects. I really enjoy making Christmas items right up until Christmas Eve for my family and your ideas help so much. Plus, even if I don't use an idea, I LOVE seeing holiday projects and cards right now. It helps keep me in the holiday spirit. I know the new catalogue is right around the corner with the lovely spring items but THANK YOU for letting me enjoy Vhristmas first!

Cute, cute, cute card! And I'm with you on how early they start to advertise the holiday and how early it starts to dwindle. There isn't enough time to use all the goodies I bought to make cards! Merry Christmas!

I am so glad to hear you, a million-dollar seller, saying this. I don't feel like I've gotten hardly any use out of my Christmas stamps and dies and here everyone is busy sneak-peeking the Occasions catalog already. I love Christmas and want to enjoy it, so good for you for sticking it out!!!! You're an inspiration (in more ways than you know!) :)

Adorable card!! I own both of these punches so I had to pause the Facebook video to try my hand at making one! (Wish that pine bough stamp was still available!)

Hi Dawn,I knew I was going to Case this card as soon as I saw it! Beautiful! I tried out the alternative puffy paint recipe technique but found that it pulled the ink colors into it and did. To like how it looked!? Was my consistency off? And which of the two ingredients should I have added more of to keep the ink from bleeding into the snow!! I ended up using the bows I Warm wishes to decorate the edges of the fence! Love all of your projects! I could make Christmas projects everyday of the year so no worries about sharing all of yours!!
