Hi Stampers,

Happy Sunday Friends ! 

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving, We had a wonderful Thanksgiving .

I thought I would share a photo of who else showed up  for Thanksgiving   in our backyard . So beautiful .We usually have at least 4 that show up but lately  it's just her  all by herself.

Hubby puts out  bird seed, carrots and corn for all the birds and animals  that come and visit . 

We are  getting ready to redo our bedroom and  this is my fancy way of deciding what color to paint  LOL! 

Yes that is Tip Top Taupe card stock, Sahara Sand card stock, Crumb Cake card stock on the wall plus with 2 samples we got to try  . We are leaning toward Tip Top Taupe .

I still can't believe it's the end of November , Comparing  from past years we would have a lot more snow than  what we have now...  so I am not complaining .

 Dec 1st is Jessie's  23rd birthday more than likely  we will be celebrating her birthday this upcoming weekend .

We put up our Christmas tree Friday night .

Happy Thanksgiving 2015

Hi Stampers,

 Wishing all of you a very happy Thanksgiving .

We all have so much to be Thankful for .

 I am  Thankful for my Wonderful Husband  who I love with all my heart and  so happy  we  found each other  over 27 years ago .  Who would have thought  that only knowing him for 6 months we would be married 27 years  and have our  fabulous daughter Jessie . He actually told me the night we met he was going to marry me .  He is such an amazing man  he is my everything and so very Thankful for him . I love you honey .

I  am Thankful for being able to get up every morning  at 5:30 am to make my  amazing husband his lunch  and his coffee before heading out to work each morning  .. There was a time where I couldn't  do that and I am so thankful I can now  . 

I  am Thankful for our daughter Jessica. She has become a strong, independent  young woman and I am so very proud  for her standing up for what she wants in her life . She has made good choices even when they have been hard, and I am very proud of her  for choosing to put what she values and  wants in life  1st and not just settling.  I love you Jessie .

I am Thankful for my Mom  No matter  what is going on  I know  she is always there for  for me . My mom is my  biggest fan  she was the one along with my husband  convinced me to   sign up  to be a SU! demonstrator  over 14 years ago .  My mom is a very strong woman and  I  hope to be the kind of woman she is  ~ I love you Mom 

I am Thankful for my Lord & Savior who never  gave up on me  and is  always there no matter  how I may feel  or what I am going through in my life.  I know he will never leave me .

I am Thankful for my friends I have made over the years. They have made me better & stronger. My close friends  know no matter how far apart we are and  how long we haven't spoken everything is just like it was where we left off .

I am Thankful for everything I have been through in my life  the good / bad / ugly  these experiences have made me who I am today  and no matter  what God  can use me to touch others lives  that may have  or are going through the same thing I have .

 I am Thankful for all of you  who visit my blog  every day and  have  sent me encouraging  emails / comments  over the years  I am Thankful to be not only your SU! demonstrator but your friend .

Thank you for bringing me into your home  every day .

A little about today's card I received this card  as one of  the swaps we got at Founders Circle this past September   . This swap was made by Jodi Reinert  and the  really fun thing about her card is not only it is gorgeous but I  actually helped her  put them together while we were at Founder Circle in St. George UT.

Well we got our 1st snow yesterday .

Looks like  about 10+ inches  and  must admit I love the  1st snow fall but after that I am over it LOL!

I am not sure what happened to me yesterday but I was in bed all day with the terrible headache . One that I have never experienced in my whole life . I really do NOT want to have that happen again .

ICYMI Friday November 20th, 2015

Hi Stampers,

Happy Friday friends ! 

I thought  I would share the birthday card  we made for my hubby this past Monday .

I say " we " because Jessie  stamped the back ground and I  finished the card .

Funny thing  was when I asked Jessie to make the back ground she said What in the world are you going to make with this ???  ~ Oh ye of little faith LOL!  

When I finished his Birthday card she loved it and I think deep down she  was a little shocked it looks so stinkin cute , 

Must admit  when I 1st started stamping I was always stumped on what to do with background stamped images .... so I guess  you could say I was "background challenged ". 

• So what do you think~ pretty cute huh?

One thing with my hubby  he doesn't care  if we add sparkles / glitter  cause lets face it he knows how I am .  I

if this was for anyone else I would "Maybe " keep all the  sparkle stuff  off ... well maybe  a little less  ~  Who knows LOL!.

Dawn's Quick Tip video of the Week ~ Stampin' Scrub

Hi Stampers,

Today quick tip video we will be  chatting about the Stampin' Scrub. We will be cleaning it and  also  cleaning our Clear blocks and Photopolymer stamp/s 

The section  where we are at the sink cleaning the stampin Scrub  is a tad dark I tried lighting up the  video as much as possible .. I should have brought my light over to the sink but wasn't thinking  when Jessie started recording LOL! 

I also had 1 clear block that had a glue dot or  something  on it  that soap and water just wouldn't come off so I had to break out  my Goo Gone  which you can find at your local store just remember you  don't need much of that stuff just a tad bit and some elbow grease LOL!

Merry Wishes Christmas card video

Hi Stampers,

 As promised here is the video on the card I shared with you  last week .

Who would have thought that card would have received so many requested for a video .. YAHOO!

I love feed back from all of you  and  love to hear what you want  to see in a video .

I must admit this card  was one that was inspired  from a wedding card I  made for my friend Laurie's daughter who got married  in Oct and  well since I hadn't  mailed it out to her  ( I did  finally give it to her at our stamp club this past Saturday )  I of course didn't want to post it before  she actually  got it  to give to her daughter .

After making her card and it  laying on my desk for weeks, I thought  it would be pretty as a Christmas card  and  SURPRISE that's how that card  happened .

Mossy Meadow was used on her wedding card because she had the 2014/16 In colors for her wedding ( so pretty ).

Dawn's Sunday Share 11-8-2015

Hi Stampers,

 Happy Sunday friends ! 

We had our Stamp club last night and we had  a lot of fun stamping and  lots of laughter .

We missed Laura, Carol & Ann  last night .

We had a late night in the stamping studio ... after the club  ended the girls that stayed around  went shopping  in my retirement room ( retired goodies ).

Liesa joked and said they went shopping at Dawn Mart LOL

( Kmart spoof )

January 30th is our next Stampers Club  

PLUS we are all planning a shoe box swap after January

 We also had Shannon join the fun last night . Hey Julie hopefully you will join us in January .

Larry comes over typically on Mondays for at least 6-8 hours  and it is looking  so awesome !

My club ladies got to see it person last night  and  they all loved it  too .

Merry Wishes Christmas card

Hi Stampers,

 Happy Monday friends ! 

Today's Christmas card I guess I was in a gold kind of a mood . I love how the finished card turned out, It's not what I had planned on  but I think it turned out even better than what was in my head .

The Merry Wishes is from the Oh What Fun stamp set # 140386

Dawn's Sunday Share 11-1-2015

Hi Stampers,

Happy Sunday and Happy November 1st 

Hope you all set your clocks  back an hour or  you  may be a little early  to church this morning .

This last week  Larry started working on our Mural  which  goes downstairs to my Stamping Studio . Oh my goodness it's already looking  amazing ( see photo above ) 

Now mind you this was the 1st day and it looks this great~ We are so excited ! 

Last night we got to dress up again for all the trick or treaters .

 I just wore my mask since  it's for only an hour I didn't feel like  putting all that  glitter and fake eyelashes on, plus I love the mask.

Here is a photo of  Logan's ( our Favorite neighborhood dog ) daddy ( Scott) dressed up as Michael Myers from the movie Halloween ... ooooo scary huh? 

Jessie and I had fun making her scarecrow card video  but she wanted to change  it up to a girl scarecrow names Val . Jessie seriously makes me laugh  with some of the things she says and does. You will notice her sense of humor  in her video ...

PLUS make sure you watch all the way to the end  

( I am not sure when she filmed that part but I thought I would keep it in and add it to the very end ~  silly girl )  .

So this video will be our Sunday Share video today .
