This past week has been a rough one in the Griffith Household . Big Daddy was been under the weather since coming home from Indiana I was thinking it was his Gallbladder but when he has a flare up with his gallbladder it usually last for about 24 hours BUT whatever this has been this past week has been all week long .
Poor guy ... of course he doesn't want to go to the doctor so needless to say I really hope this upcoming week he starts feeling better.
Today we will be making these flowers . We made this flower at the Stamp-a-Palooza event and I fell in love with this flower all over again just by doubling up the spirals and of course adding Dazzling Diamonds .
Click on over to my STAMPING STUDIO for today's video and supply list .
Stay tuned for tomorrow's video we will be making a cute Bakers Box and adding this beautiful flower to it .
Stamp-a-Palooza event in Indiana with Dee Slater was awesome ! There were 50 stampers who attended . We all had such a fabulous time I loved chatting and stamping with so many of you.
This week I have been getting caught up with stuff... so today I thought I would share a really beautiful gift I received from Linda Leighty .
I love the bag she made to hold all the pretties inside all of which were made right there in Indiana locally .
I have opened a photo gallery with some of photos from the event .
Last week I was working on designing my Convention swaps for next month I need to make (60 full cards NOT fronts ) so I don't want to wait until the last minute making them.
Once the design in made it's just a matter of cutting everything out and making sure I have enough of everything to make the swaps.
This card above was one of the cards I was thinking of making BUT changed my mind... actually I changed my mind like (6) times before finally coming up with a design .
I started off by getting the layout from a card sketch I seen on Pinterest and it went from there .
Here are the measurements for the front panel
Mint Macaron 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"
Whisper White 3" x 4 1/4"
Mint Macaron Designer paper #138432
cut at 1 1/4" x 3"

and I used the Envelope punch board #133774 to round the (2) corners.
I carried over the same layer to the inside but used the
Here is another card I made using the beautiful Bohemian Designer paper # 138446
I had a chance to play with the new stamp set called
Bohemian Borders #138938
It's a 2 step stamp set BUT really has (3) steps to make the little medallions on my card today . I used the 1 1/4" circle punch #119861 and the new1 1/2" circle punch # 138299 for those
The Birthday greetings on the front and inside are from the

For the greeting I thought I would use the brand new stamp set called
All Boxed up
(w)# 138994

Punched that out with the new 1 1/2" Circle punch # 138299 and then that lead me to add the tiny stars with the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack #133787 to the Very Vanilla # 101650 border across the top.
You are probably wanting the measurements for the layers .

Back to the baby card . I got a request from my hubby that he wanted a card for one of his co workers that is expecting a baby girl and I got the "Can you make a expansion by 2" feet card" We both love that greeting so when he says that I know exactly what he is asking for .
I made it into a shadow box card which is probably 1 of my ALL time favorite interactive cards to make.

I have an extra stamping video for you this week it will be posted tomorrow stay tuned for that .
Today we will be making this really adorable Birthday card . I actually seen a card like this on pinterest .
I have been wanting to make this card for so long BUT Stampin'Up! didn't have individual numbers ( we only the Bigz die at the time and that didn't work out to well for this card ) .
SURPRISE we got them in the new catalog they are called
Little Numbers Thinlits # 138278
Oh my goodness I was so excited to see them in the new catalog and those were one of the top (5) things I added to my very 1st order .
I have a small container I am keeping them in for right now until I get them on a magnet board but PLEASE make sure you put them in something since they are small you don't want to lose any of them . I can't tell you in the short amount of time I have had mine I had to look around for the #1 .
Lets click on over to my STAMPING STUDIO for today's video and supply list .
I sent this " collage "card to my friend Patty with a small gift inside I want to make sure she gets it before I say what else was in the package but it's super cute and should bring a SMILE to her face .
There are a couple retired items I used on her card ( "I Am" stamp set which we demonstrators got at convention and the Labels collection framelits to cut the inside greeting out with the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper ) .
I am sure she won't mind since I used pink ( her favorite color ). There are a couple brand new stamps sets I used as well (1) on the inside and (1) on the front
Front Friendly Wishes
Inside You've Got This
Here is what the card looks like on the inside .
Yes I had to add some Dazzling Diamonds on the front ( hard to see in the photo but it's there )
Plus the inside I added some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper
Today's card was a case I seen once again over on Pinterest But I changed mine up a wee bit. I used the brand new colors Mint Macaron / Tip Top Taupe .
The (2) other colors I added to the color combo are Sahara Sand / Very Vanilla .
I used the Circle framelits and cut out a bunch of circles in all kinds of sizes and then just started layering .

Time for Graduation parties and I thought I would use a couple brand new goodies on my card .
Go Wild Designer Paper Stacks # 138441
Little Numbers Thinlits die # 138278
I also used the Tip Top Taupe card stock # 138836 with the Basic Black # 121045
( love it !)
The Congratulations is from the Bravo stamp set #135380
I also cut the numbers out with both Tip Top Taupe and Basic Black color card stock and layered them together ... which was a little tricky with my fingers but it looks super cute don't you think ?
Here is the inside of my card today .
I added a bunch of stars in the matching colored card stock and added Basic Rhinestones to the centers.
P.S I have a video later this week using these awesome Little Numbers Thinlits .
This upcoming week I am taking my car is to be looked at making a funny noise in the front end wouldn't you know it I get my 2012 Buick paid off and the noises start (Praise God for warranties).
Thursday I am going in to get my permanent crown put on my tooth I had chipped right after getting home from Hawaii ( Praise God it happened after that amazing trip ) .
My tooth was actually a back tooth that had a huge filling in it really this 1 tooth had (2) fillings in it and well the smaller filling chipped after eating Popcorn "again" ( I think I need to stop eating popcorn this is the 2nd time this has happened ) no pain just knew it had to be fixed .
After going over the long weekend over Memorial day and tearing up my tongue where the chip was I was really ready to get it fixed. after getting my temporary cap on early in the morning, I was eating a salad that evening and the cap chipped ( I know right ?)... so back to the dentist at 7:30 pm. They gave me a new cap and now Thursday I get the permanent crown put on.
This past week we got the new heater in our hot tub and I was able to get in it Yahoo! Haven't been in it for 2 years since all the issues with my leg and hip
I was playing with one of the brand new Host ONLY stamp sets called A Whole Lot of Lovely
I love the large greeting on the front I used the 2 1/2" circle punch to punch that out .
The color combo is Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron, I really love these 2 colors together.
I do believe Tip Top Taupe will look amazing with any of our fabulous colors but these 2 are my favorite right this minute LOL! I also used the Petite Petals stamp set along with the Petite Petals punch .
The small flowers I used the Itty Bitty Accent Punch Pack .
The flowers are stamped in the same colors and I then sponged the edges to make them pop. I also added a Basic Rhinestone to the centers of all the flowers
I also added loops of Linen Thread in the back ground ( hopefully you can see it ). I also used Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in the background as well
Here is the inside I used Lots of Thanks stamp set . One of my favorite stamp set with all kinds of "thank you" greetings inside .
I will be back a little later this afternoon with the (3) names drawn for the Blog candy yesterday .
Thank you everyone for all your sweet comments and all your encouragement . You all are the BEST!
