Dawn's Sunday Share 12-21-2014

Hi Stampers,

Happy Sunday friends !

We  got to hang out with Jessie and Pat  and  celebrate Christmas a little early with them  since we will be heading out of town this upcoming week . Jessie and Pat will be  staying home and  will be checking in on our house  while we are away .

This will be our 1st Christmas  away from our little girl  must admit  I am a little sad  since her & Pat were suppose to go with us but both of them got new jobs and they can not take off work to go .

To bad mom writting a note to the boss wouldn't work . :(

I have to  show you what Jessie had resently got done ...

It's a new piercing . every time I look at it, it makes me say OUCHIE OUCHIE, But the crazy thing is ...I think If I were younger I may have gotten this type of piercing too. 

Jessie has had many  piercing and many tattoos  over the years  and she admits  this one was the Worst & she will NEVER do it again .

The photo  of her ear  looks like there is a tiny spot  where it looks like it is bruised But that's just  a marker was used to mark the spot.  It's still tender to touch but she is cleaning it  just trying not to bump it  or lay on it  for a few more days . 100% healing will take about 6 weeks .

 I know you all are saying Ouchie too HUH?

 

Here is a photo of her & Dad  when we were leaving the resturant Unbelieveable she is 6'2" and Hubby is 6'5".

Dawn's Sunday Share 12-14-2014

Hi Stampers,

Happy Sunday friends !

This past week we finally got my  previous stampin' space all spruced up, we got the frig,stove and microwave in it's spot .

It looks so amazing .

This past Monday I got the clear from my doctor that all my hip precautions  have been lifted  so  this past Friday night hubby and I went on a Harley ride .

Must say it was a 1st on many levels.

• 1st Harley ride in 35 degree weather ~ Brrrrrrr
• 1st Harley ride in mid December~2 weeks before Christmas
  
• 1st Harley ride since getting my new hip .

It was amazing ~freezing & fun ! You should have seen us both, we were so bundled up . I definitely like riding  in the Spring / Summer  and early Fall~ Winter not so much LOL!

Last night we went to our friends  Christmas party  and that was alot of fun!

Very Merry Keepsake candy box

Hi Stampers,

Happy Wednesday friends !

I  had some fun making this Vellum card stock #101856  candy box holding M&M's . I used the  Curvy Keepsake box Thinlits dies ##135853

The Very Merry  is from the December Wonder stamp set # 136562.

I stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink 126966 and then embossed with Clear embossing powder #109130 and then  ran that through the Big Shot  to cut the tag ( tag shape was in the Curvy Keepsake box thinlits dies ) .

Before I  put the box together I ran both pieces  of the box through the  Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder # 117335. Love how it turned out .

• The trick to embossing the box is to only emboss the flaps.

For my gift tags I used the Under the Tree Tag a Bag accessory kit #135865. 

You can make them as fancy as you want  by adding  things you may already have  in your craft room like Dazzling Diamonds  / Basic Rhinestones .

I like to layer so I  added  Glimmer paper as a layer  and used 2 stamp sets

Here is another Christmas card  using a few of my favorites ( again)

Garden Green, Trim the Tree designer paper stacks  and Bright & Beautiful stamp set .

This card was inspired by a card sketch I had found  on my old note pad  probably from last year.

I love the way it turned out . I used  multipurpose liquid glue #110755 to adhere the Gold Sequins to the edge of the card on the 1" circles.

Here is the card I made for Grace and her hubby Aaron  for her baby shower .

They know she is having a baby boy  and is due in Feburary.

I still can't believe it  that Grace is going to be having a baby .
