Looks like we have the 1st big storm of the 2014 and it just happens to be on my Birthday~ YAHOO!

This upcoming Tuesday I will be heading to Houston TX for Stampin'Up! 2014 Leadership . Just in time to jet set away from the snow .There's alot of fun things happening at leadership this year .
I have a presentation I will be doing and meeting up with my Glitter Queens team who will also be attending leadership as well as meeting up with my fellow Advisory Board members and lets not forget all my wonderful demonstrator friends who I get to hug !
My Monthly newsletter will be going out Tuesday morning I got 2 videos lined up for you this upcoming week while I am away as well as new projects using all kinds of new goodies from the Occasions catalog HERE
Over the next few days I will be getting things caught up before I leave.
Can't believe it ~ this is the last Sunday of 2013 .
I do have something planned to bring in the New Year with you (more on that below ).

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas week . We are all Busy bees around the Holidays . We finished up everything for Christmas from Wrapping / Christmas Dinner goodies.
We also made our Christmas deliveries to our neighbors yesterday and that's always fun I wish I could say we did some Christmas Caroling but the weather here is pretty yucky with freezing rain and well you all know my history with slipping and falling (don't want to do that again).
I wish all the joys and wonder of the Christmas season and BIG hugs to all of you who sent me such beautiful Christmas cards Thank you from the bottom of my heart .

Yesterday we had a dose of double fun . Yesterday afternoon I had a group of ladies over for a Christmas class and we made (5) goodies all with the Christmas theme .

Last night we went over to Jessie & Pats for their Christmas Party and that was alot of fun.
Guess what I did for the 1st time . I did the Ombre on my Nails this past Friday night with Shellac . You all know I am in love with Shellac ( It's all I wear ) I shared a photo of my nails on FB But seriously it's so hard taking photos of nails . So I hate to say this BUT you will get to see my nails in this weeks videos .
I did snag a photo online of what the Ombre looks like BUT these are not my actual nails BUT I did do the same color ( some what anyway ... It was my 1st time BUT I can honestly say it will NOT be the last ! )
I will mention that what started all this was going to Salon Centric with my friend Gina on Thursday they had a new product called Shellac Addditives .
Never heard of that product before and when I did a little google search seems I had been missing out on the newest thing with Shellac .
So needless to say I didn't buy the Additives BUT used something totally different .
I was thinking ( dangerous I know, right ?) years ago SU! sold a product called Pearl Ex. ( do any of you remember that ?) Well I had some ( Okay~ ALOT) burried in a basket in my stamping room and got it out and lets just say the rest is history LOL !
I will make an investment in the Shellac Additives in time BUT for right now I thought the Pearl Ex would be fun ! PLUS I have every color and why not experiment with all those 1st LOL !
Today is Jessie's 21st Birthday . We actually celebrated it yesterday when we took her to Ruth Chris Steakhouse ( YUMMY) . She is such a beautiful young woman and we are so proud of her . Hard to believe she's 21 .

As of today Dec 1, I will be discontinuing the Hostess Code drawings promotion due to new changes from Stampin Up. Although it saddens me to announce this, Stampin Up has learned that using the Hostess code for Mystery Hostess drawings could be considered a "game of chance".
This then becomes a legal issue in some states. In an effort to stay compliant with all state laws, and SU policy, I won't be offering a Mystery Hostess code any longer...
don't want to take any "chances" (pun intended)....
The Hostess code itself isn't going away. I will still be able to use the hostess code for Workshops, Stamp Club orders that have a designated Hostess before ordering.

Last night we had our Stampers Club meeting and BOY we had so much fun .. I know I know I always say that, BUT I am not really sure what's better the stamping or laughing ? I would have to say both go together perfectly .
I quickly made my Christmas banner and added some Christmas cards to my Studio . I also added my wreath to my door to get us all in the Christmas mood LOL !

This next weekend is my hubby's Birthday and yes for a very short time we are offically 1 year apart ( in Big Daddy's eyes anyway ) well I am actually 1 year older but with my Birthday in January and his at the end of the year in November it's almost like 2 years and BOY he lets me know I am his "older" woman LOL!
"Hopefully "for his Birthday we are heading to Bronners in Frankenmuth for our annual "Christmas Ornament " trip and having his Birthday dinner at Zehnders or at the Bavarian Inn . I say Hopefully because he may have to work so it's a plan as we go kind of Birthday for him this year .
Friday night Jessie,Pat and Bao came over to take some Christmas photos . I am sharing a couple super cute ones of Jessie and Bao all wrapped up in Christmas lights ( So stinkin cute ).
( I love my Grandog magnet) ... Pretty awesome huh?
Look how big Bao is getting . He is so cute, I think he is getting bigger by the minute . Jessie takes a photo of him every Sunday to show how big he gets week to week .It's just amazing .
This past Thursday ( Halloween) I had my teeth cleaned and thought it would be pretty funny if I wore my vampire teeth to the dentist . It was a hit even though I didn't get a chance to put them in for my dentist since she usually comes in for my exam at the end of my cleaning this time she came in 1/2 way through my cleaning .
My Hygenist on the other hand got to see them and she said they were the best she had seen LOL! Of course that means alot because we know she has seen alot if teeth right ? Just not tons of vampire teeth.
I felt right at home since everyone in the dentist office were dressed up too...Plus when I left my teeth were whiter than my fangs.
I love getting my teeth cleaned.

Oh my goodness I don't what what is more exciting the hedgehogs or a little Frosty ~Both were an all time favorite years ago .
This last week I took my car in to see why the Service Suspension System light was coming on .... ended up being a strut needed to be replaced hubby said no wonder why it felt like a stage-coach driving LOL!
So the dealership gave me a loaner car for the week ( above) . It's cute BUT I was so happy to pick up my car on Friday !
Last night we went to Steve's Halloween party . I will get the other photos uploaded this week for you to take a peek at some really cool costumes . This year Hubby and I went as Vampires ..

She also left me a love note but that one wasn't showing the love as much LOL ! This one was on my Stamping desk . She has always left me love notes ever since she was a little girl all over the stamping studio sometimes in a hidden spot where I wouldn't find it until days later. I guess since she is older now the love notes just appear wherever she wants me to find them pretty quick :) .
I heard of Mr. Handy Man who carves pumpkins with Power tools pretty amazing stuff BUT It's not for the little ones that's for sure ...BUT Mom and Dad need their own pumpkin right ? This last week I have been busy making welcome packets with a cute welcome card inside . I will share them all with you tomorrow. But until then here are a a couple .
Founders Circle is over and I am on my way to the Advisory Board retreat this morning . I thought I would share a few highlights of Founders Circle with you all today .
I will be heading home this upcoming Wednesday but until then my next stop is Salt Lake City .
The highlight of Founders Circle is the Kanab trip where we get to see where our stamps are made and take part of cutting the rubber, assembling stamp sets ~ Its always so much fun to see what happens behind the scenes.
This years Hosptiality Room was called Horse shoe lounge. Beautiful displays of cards/ candy ...Plus it's a fun place to meet up with friends and do some stamping .
Here is a photo of the famous swap line . PLUS a photo of all the swaps we got . Every swap is so awesome ( Love them ) .
Oh and lets not forget the amazing pillow gifts. This was our 1st night pillow gift .
I love the tag plus everything inside which has a BUNCH of brand new goodies ( Embossing folder / Designer paper / Stamp set / Sparkly ribbon and so much more ( LOVE IT) those items will be in our next Occasions catalog (Mini) .

WOW what a fun week we had . We helped Jessie & Pat move into our rental house yesterday.
My Mom & I went to Gracie & Aaron's wedding on Friday( Hubby had to work ) .Gracie's wedding color was white & purple

They also had a Photo booth which we got to take some fun photos for Grace & Aarons photo book
We had another family wedding (Katie & Trent) last Saturday. Their wedding had a "hunters theme " since Katie and Trent are both hunters and my cousin ( Katie's mom) made the dresses which are so cute .
Today I will be doing a little catch up making Thank you notes / finalizing my newsletter / Finalizing my blog posts for the time I am away / Getting welcome packets sent out to my newest team members (Which by the way I am excited to share with you that as of yesterday the Glitter Queens stamping team has offically changed to Glitter Queens & Kings stamping team) /making couple extra swaps.

This past week my Father in law and Jody went home and now it seems really quite in the Griffith house .
While they were here Dad and hubby painted our spare bedroom .
The boys also added shelves to my inspriational wall.
The Boys also had a spa day getting Father / Son pedicures for Dad's Birthday .
Then they both finished off the day in the hot tub. We had such a Great time together and 1 thing Jody and I both noticed is that our boys can't still for 5 minutes & It's even worse when they're together LOL !
This upcoming week I will be working on my monthly newsletter and making a couple more videos for the time I will be away at Founders Circle and Advisory Board .
This past week I finally got all of my (3) favorite things to give my Fellow Advisory Board members + Shelli & Sara . The last of my Favorite things I just about laughed till I peed my pants .

Yesterday we celebrated our 25th anniversary and look what Hubby gave me . My ring has a new ( BIG) Diamond ( most of you remember a couple years ago I lost the diamond riding down I-75 on Hubby's Harley) PLUS a 25th anniversary band to go with it .

Yesterday we also celebrated my Father in Law's 69th Birthday . We all went to Arts Beats and Eats in Royal Oak with our Jessie and Pat for the afternoon .
This last week I had my 6 month check in on my leg and everything looks Great. Next check in will be my 1 year Anniversary in Feb.
This last weekend we had our 1st Fried Turkey OMG! so so yummy we made a 12 lb turkey and it cooked in less than 45 minutes and was the best turkey we have ever had .
I have a feeling fried turkey is going to be made alot around here .
Our Neighbors dog ( Logan) comes over to visit us often and he is such a cutie and looks so much like our Bowzer . Well here he is chilling out in our garage while we were making the Turkey I laugh every time I see him lay down with his legs spread out behind him so funny .

This past Wednesday I finished making my 120 Founder Circle swaps (WHEW) PLUS I started working on my Advisory Board swaps as well as Goodie bags for our Special evening with Shelli Gardner this next month . This week we also got an email for our Special Advisory Board Ring which we will be given to us next month .
I also have 6 videos filmed and ready to share during the upcoming weeks while my Father in law is here.
Since my Father In law is in town hubby has a long list of things for him and his Dad to work on PLUS just good old fashion family time .
Yesterday Jessie cut everyones hair and here she is cutting her daddy's hair ... Plus did you notice the photos of Jessie that she colored her hair dark again ? Love it !
This last Wednesday I went to the Wound Clinic for my leg again (Not sure how much longer I will be going BUT if all goes as plan I am thinking around Founders Circle my Leg should be good to go!

Dr. says it is looking GREAT & every week the wound is shrinking and filling in ~ Praise GOD! The bottom area is already filled in just working on the upper part which has always been the larger part of the wound .
Tomorrow I will be heading to my 6 month check in for my leg from when I fell & broke my Femur ~ Hard to believe it's been only 6 months .
Still Juicing everything is going great! I am seriously not juicing to lose weight ( But if that happens that's great ) It's more of just being healthy . Juicing and eating salads is just about 90% of our diet currently . I have found that eating starchy foods make my RA flare up like Pork and Shrimp. Some days I feel like there isn't anything I can eat without a flare up ~ughhhhh!
Here is an updated photo of our Garage . It's so awesome ! I think I love it so much because I know having a organized stamping space it really makes it so much better when stamping .
Hubby was way over due for such an awesome space to call his own ~Praise God ! The metal racks will be moved soon .
Next Saturday Aug 31,2013 will be our 25th Wedding Anniversary.
( Did you know we got married the same year SU! started ? Thats pretty awesome too huh?)
Just amazing~ 25 Years and I love him more than the 1st day we met in Gulfport MS . Best thing that has ever happened to me .
This past Thursday & Friday we got our Hot tub stained and it seriously looks brand new. Check out the before & after photos.

This Friday my Father in law & Jody are coming up for a couple weeks and we are looking forward to enjoying the outside since the last time they came up it was snowing and we couldn't sit and relax on the patio .

We got the cabinets as a hand me down ~ BUT with a little cleaning ( Thank you to our friends Steve & Linda who helped move them and Linda for helping me clean them up ) they are like new. Well we finally got our Hot tub cleaned up and ready to go . The hot tub was sitting empty for years (since Hubby went to Iraq) so we had a major job of cleaning and we are in the process of staining the wood frame .
Yesterday we went over to my cousin Amanda's house to get her hot tub ready to be hooked up as well .
We found out this weekend that my Father In Law & Jody are coming up from TN on Aug 23rd. Very excited to see them again~ this time they are bringing their dog Daisy up for a visit too.
Next weekend is the Woodward Dream Cruise with thousands of classic rides . A HUGE highlight of the summer .

Friday morning I sent out all my Glitter Queens quarterly cards (above photo show some of them ) . When making my Glitter Queens quarterly cards I didn't realize how many steps there were . Just loved the card and thought Yeah I will make these for my Glitter Queens .
About 1/2 way through I was thinking " What was I thinking " LOL!
I recieved the cutest swap at convention from Sharri and contacted her to see if it was okay if I used her idea and then make a video on her idea . Since the card has many steps I just highlight what I did and then I will put the card together with all of you .
That video will be posted later this week .
I am so excited that they are all finished ( over 100 of them ) and on their way to my Glitter Queens ( Just wait till you see it in person they are so stinkin CUTE!! )
So with my Downline cards done next on the agenda is to complete my Founders Circle swaps I need 126 of those. The more I can get done and checked off my list the better I am ( Know what I mean ?) I am not good under pressure making so many cards . Even though FC is over a month away the more I can get done the better for me since stress and my body do not work well together .
This Friday night I was on a mission to come up with my Founders Circle swap design . Imagine me going through all of my 600+ videos over the years . My swap had to be something quick and easy .
I wanted to make something with a Halloween theme even though there is NO theme / No restrictions on our swaps just to use current items .
I always find Halloween alot of fun maybe that's because my family doesn't celebrate Halloween BUT I was eye balling that Orange and Black glitter# # 132206 in the new Holiday catalog and well one thing went to one thing and then another and well I have 3 Halloween projects with finally the 1 I will be using ~ WHEW !
What a mess after 5 hours of playing & creating . Needless to say the biggest mess came when I was cleaning up my huge mess . I spilled the whole jar of orange glitter on my floor . I'm shocked my neighbors didn't hear me scream ( well maybe they did and didn't tell me) .
As soon as the jar when over it all seemed like it was moving in slow motion .I stood there and looked at the Big mess . I did get a BIG bowl yesterday for my new glitter so hopfully this will not happen again .... 0f all the 10 years of stamping this is the second time this has happened ~Thank God !
I will be showing you the Halloween cards over the next couple weeks . I would show them all this week BUT I don't want to over whelm you will the same stamp set "Halloween Bash " over and over again .
I will be showing one tomorrow and also have a video on that card this week as well (Super cute)
Today is the 1 st full week of totally juicing we are eating a small dinner But other than that we are just drinking Barley Max / Beet Max / Carrot Max . So much easier than me actually juicing every other day 10 lbs of carrots . Just mix and drink ~ Healing inside out.

WOW! What a week we have had I am so happy to report I finally got my luggage unpacked from Convention and look at everything we brought back with us ( photo above) .

Our Roof is completed and I love it . Who knew someone would get so excited about getting their roof done . It's so pretty ( Pretty for a roof anyway LOL) Here are a couple before & after photos,
There is a HUGE difference in the type of shingle and of course the color. Before was more Tan / Crumb Cake color & After it's more Crumb Cake / Baja Breeze / Early Espresso .
We have finally moved our Hot tub over to it's new location on the Patio Hubby fixed awhile ago . The new space is just perfect.
So many of my friends at Convention were asking about our Jessie and what's new with her...
Well 1st off she just got her hair cut and it is so stinkin cute I love love love it ! you may notice the color has probably changed since the last time .
She is so much like me when I was younger I was every hair color you could imagine and same with Jessie . I love the current color and cut .
She is currently working as a nanny for a family with 2 girls BUT both girls will be starting school full time in just a few weeks . She will then start working at LUV Manicures & Pedicures. She is very excited about that. I am so proud of her!
She is still with her boyfriend Pat and they now have 2 Guinea pigs ( Harley & Mason). Believe it or not the photo of me holding Harley above was the 1st time I even held a guinea Pig... I must say they are both very cute and have their own personalities .
Harley has spunky hair and Mason looks like a baby skunk with soft fluffy hair .
Okay I thought I would share a photo of my leg ( from the car door incident ) now BUT I will have you click HERE to view . There is a photo of what my leg looked like when all this started back on June 11, 2013 and what it looks like as of this past Wednesday at the wound clinic .
Doctor says it looks amazing and say it should be really healed up in 6-8 weeks . Just have to heal it from the inside out.

I thought I would share a few photos from convention with you today . WOW what a great time ! PLUS hubby got to do some scuba diving while in Salt Lake City too .
Last night we had my Stampers club meeting and shared lots of laughter and stamping fun . (Be sure to check out the video I posted below of my new stamping classroom ).

This past Friday the roof guys starting working on our roof and we are so excited . They started on the back of the house Friday and yesterday morning they started on the front .
This past Wednesday I went to the wound clinic for my leg and this time I got to see the doctor and he was so impressed with how my leg is doing that this upcoming Wednesday we are graduating to a moist healing bandage . Doctor ordered me these for me (see photo below).
Just in time for my travels to convention too since I see the doctor again on Wednesday in the early morning then jet off to SLC in the afternoon .
So excited to have something on my leg that I won't have to change daily and can take a normal shower without covering my leg with a plastic bag~ I am not complaining.... Just excited ! It's all about those little moments ya know LOL !
Doctor also told me even if I had went and got stitches in my leg it would not have done any good and I would be in the same position I am in right now even if I had went and got stitches .

For my Sunday Share video I thought I would share the video of my new stamping classroom . This was a process of many videos put into 1 video that is close to 15 minutes long. The video log is a weekly sometimes monthly update on my finished stamping class room that took place over a period of a few months starting back in Oct 2012.
Stamping room update Nothing has been moved into the space as of today so what you see is what it still looks like.. Hopefully one day soon we will get things moved in and when we do that I will be making another video log to share all that with you all.

This past Thursday Hubby rolled across the finish line at. He was the 23rd rider to cross the finish line . WOW! what an adventure .
A Deer hit him on his Harley, got hung up on the front bar so the deer was dragged for a little awhile then finally let loose and rolled down the ditch . Hubby was a bit shaken and trying not to crash and get him off the bike. Rich said it all happened within a few seconds . BUT I am sure it felt alot longer .'

Yesterday we headed back to NY for the Finish line party OH my goodness what a fun time Fabulous food / Fireworks and the BIGGEST bon fire I have ever seen ( see photo below) .
This morning we are heading back .

Beth posted some stats on our riders which I thought was pretty awesome . Below is what Beth posted on the Hoka Hey Facebook page HERE.
This year our youngest rider is #786, Taia Hassing (30 yrs) and our most senior is #787, Samuel Vasquez (72 yrs). The oldest bike registered for the Challenge was a 1973 FLH ElectraGlide ridden by #303, Rick Miller of Sarasota, FL. Unfortunately, this bike is already out of the Challenge and so the oldest bike now is a 1989 Tour Glide Classic ridden by Scott Chrispen of Brocton, NY. There are... seven different 2013 bikes registered. We have one man from Norway and one man from Canada and seven women from all over the US. Florida is best represented with 11 entries; followed by Texas with 10. Finally... nearly 77% of our riders have ridden in at least one Hoka Hey Challenge before this one; 37% have ridden in at least two and 29% are embarking on their fourth go ‘round!!!
My hat is off to all of our riders and the people that support them!!

It saddens me to say that we lost one of our most enthusiastic Hoka Hey Challengers on Wednesday June 26th. Rider #737, John Anderson, was an Air Force veteran participating in the Challenge for his second time. Though I didn't know him well, I had the pleasure of working with John during the application process and found that he had a friendly and agreeable way about him that made him very easy to like. I had the chance to visit with him briefly on the day before the riders left and it was clear that John was delighted to be a participant and was eager for the adventure. But even in that moment of bubbling enthusiasm, it struck me that John was truly grateful. His eyes and his demeanor conveyed a true humility and sense of wonder that reflected the passion for life that he carried within. I only hope I can do honor to John’s memory by sharing that same zest with others!!
Our hearts and prayers go out to the ones he left behind. It is clear to me that heaven is a better place for having him. Beth
Please pray for the families and those who were injured during the Hoka Hey and Praying for Johns family during this very difficult time in their huge loss.I will try & get info on an address for John maybe we could send the family a card .. Will keep you posted .

Thursday
as I was getting ready to head out to NY to meet hubby at the finish
line look what showed up . The shingles for our Roof and Holy Moly the
truck was pretty awesome for getting all the goodies on our roof ....so
there was a slight 2 hour delay on leaving BUT I still got there in
time to see him cross the finish line.
The GPS tracker will be turned off soon. He will be taking the Harley in to be serviced .There will be an overhaul done on it.Thank you all again for the past 10 days following him and encouraging him along the way . There were so many of us consumed with the Tracker map and now that it's over, its like ~what do we do now ? STAMP of course LOL!
This upcoming Saturday July 13th we have my stampers club night and then I will be heading to Convention to learn some fabulous new tip and tricks .
Well Thursday I finally went to urgent care for my leg that I cut on my car door a couple weeks ago . Yup should have gotten stitches BUT seriously it didn't look bad at all and didn't hardly bleed. Yes I guess I am gulity of hearing all those TOLD YOU SO comments I am ready so lay it on me !
(just be slightly gentle on me please LOL! You probably couldn't say anything more than what I am already saying to myself )
Urgent care I got such a hard scrub on my wound I about went through the roof in pain . Once they cleaned it I was sent for X rays and there is no infection Praise God !
They sent me to Wound care which was another cleaning BUT this time she at least numbed me alittle to take the edge off of the pain and to think It did not hurt at all this whole time just started looking really gross .
Doctor showed me how to care for my boo boo and gave me some Ointment called Collagenase Santyl to apply every day and wrap with gauze and clean with water every day and to keep it up as much as possible due to the swelling ( yup the photo over on that site looks like my leg too) .
Today will be my 3rd cleaning and I am seriously looking forward to it not to being so tender ( Ouchie). It did not hurt the whole 2 weeks but since the scrub down it seems to have opened up all those nerves .
I would share a photo BUT I think I will wait until it actually starts looking alittle better cause it is really gross what started out as a cut that looked like a upside down "L" looks more like a BIG crater/ hole . What has happened from what the doctor and my friend Pam (Pam is a RN ) the RA medication I am on has broken down my skin / opened my wound and will take longer to heal ... So currently I am off my RA meds until it heals .
I go back to the Wound Clinic on Wednesday so I am going to see where all this lines up with going to NY to the Hoka Hey Finish line to welcome hubby .
Hubby has been doing so great on the Hoka Hey Motorcycle challenge he is currently in Oklaoma and on his way back to NY. It's so awesome and I am so proud of him !
While in SD at the Black Hills Harley Shop 2nd check point on the route Hubby needed (2) new tires . Thank God they had the tires for him and that they were ready for all kinds of other things for all the riders after midnight .
So far he has rode through:

Yesterday we had the Grand Prix towed away that broke down right before winter . Hubby was thinking he was going to work on it BUT seemed there was alot more wrong with it than what he thought ... so away it went .

We are offically on our way home from Fiji this morning . They always say it would be so awesome to live the same day twice .. Well today we will get to do that since we will be arriving back home before the time we left Fiji .
That whole time change is still a little crazy with my mind . I will be happy to be home in the eastern time zone and no guessing what day / time it is back home .
I will share photos from our fabulous time in Fiji with all of you this upcoming week if all goes as planned .

I took my camera in and took a few photos of my 2 favorite people (Ashley & Ryan ) .
My Last day of therapy was suppose to be this past Friday but my RA was flared up due to all this rain and Thunder storms we have been having so my offical last day will be this upcoming Tuesday
I am so Thankful for Ashley and Ryan pushing me through all the pain and tears 3 times a week for the last 7 weeks .
Here is the fancy tool Ashley uses on me ( Not sure what she calls it ) every time to help break up the scar tissue/ swelling . It's not one of my favorite tools she uses since its painful but it does work ( Praise God ! ) Here she is using it on my hamstrings which are still very swollen .
I am still amazed it been 10 weeks since the accident / surgery . Sometimes I think wow It's ONLY been 10 weeks ( 2 1/2 months) and then other times it seems like a lifetime ago . Next week when I am in Fiji I have alittle something being delivered to the both of them thanking them for everything they did to help me in my recovery .
I am not at 100% in my walking ~ still 100% better than where I was BUT I feel as though I am still "thinking " while I walk does that make sense ? I still have swelling BUT Praise God I have a leg to think about while walking and that it is swollen :) .

This past Thursday was a really fun night that's because my Glitter Queen Megan had her open house / 1st workshop . I was going to support her and of course to have some stamping fun !
I took alot of photos of our fun time together and Look how cute Megan is ...
Something pretty cute happened a week or so before her open house Megan was coming over to get a few things to use for her party and she told her daughters that they were going to my house and her daughter said

How cute is that ..Megan said when she watches my videos both of her girls watch too and I guess thinking I was a live person or that they could actually come to my house was alittle over the top for them .. So cute !

Yesterday was suppose to be an all day stamping day for me well that didn't happen Plus all the rain is making my hands hurt, Hopefully I can have one day this upcoming week to stamp and get things lined up for when I am away .. leaving in 11 days .
My leg is doing good still lots of swelling and I have my last week of therapy this upcoming week . I started using the tread mill last Wednesday and I started using a Bosu ball to build strength in my leg .

I had another little milestone last night ... We went out to see a movie . I know it's not much But for me sitting for longer than an hour ~ this was kind of a big deal :).
This past Thursday I got a package from SU! for our trip to Fiji at the end of this month . The Luggage tags are so super cute .
This past Wednesday I got to 115 degrees in my knee bend . Still lots of swelling which is hendering my bend . Ashely says the swelling will come down in time could take up to a year . I have my 9 week follow up with my doctor tomorrow I am excited to see what he thinks .
Yesterday we had our taxes done . A little late this year due to my leg mishap but still done before the April 15th deadline YAHOO!
Speaking of my leg here is an updated photo of what it looks like now . This was taken last Thursday March 28, 2013 I am still amazed at how great it looks .
I would have never guessed it would look this good with what it started out looking like 8 weeks ago HERE Yikes !!!
Here is a little sneak peek of my classroom hubby is doing for me. I am so excited ! He just put the lights up into the tray ceiling and OH my goodness it is sooo bright we may need to wear sunglasses while stamping LOL!
I have been making a video on this journey but change of plans we will only be doing the classroom as of right now since we need a new roof on our house this summer and that takes priority .
So I will be posting the video of what has been done on the classroom part in the near future . Still have a few things to do flooring /trim /doors but will share it as soon as it's done .
Tomorrow I will be finishing up my April newsletter which will be sent out Tuesday morning . Boy I missed making my newsletter for you this February & March ... But I'm getting back on track one step at a time right ? Praise God !

Last night we had our stampers club get together . OH boy did I need this . It is so much fun hanging out with all my girls and stamping / laughing /crying . We missed you Holly & Laurie .
My club girls were also the 1st to see my hubby's handy work in my new classroom he has been working on . All the dry wall is up and it already looks so AWESOME!
This morning I will be going to church for the 1st time in 7 weeks I am not sure how I will be during church with the sitting~ We shall see .
This week I will be posting some of the goodies I have made over that last week or so .
I found out it isn't so much my hip thats causing my sitting problems but more my hamstring . I swear I feel like I have been getting a crash course in all my leg parts and how they are all connected .
I am going to be starting my 4th week of out patient and Ashley will be submitting another perscription for an extended PT not sure how much longer ... but I am thinking maybe 3 more weeks~ IDK yet .
Apparently in home care and out patient are 2 totally different services so that's good for me .I am currently at 105 degrees on my bend and still so much swelling .
We had some snow Friday / Saturday and this has cause a flare up with my RA . If it's not one thing it's another I tell ya .
My hands are so puffy and swollen I can hardly bend my fingers . But if this is like any flare up's in the past by the 4th day everything should be okay .

Right off the bat I would like to Thank & Praise God for getting me through the last 5 weeks . For all of you who have went through a surgery you may have felt like how I was feeling .
Down in the dumps/ Pitty Party / Crying / Emotional roller coster .
My Mom had mentioned to me well you know you are getting close to that whole COL ( HOLD on are you kidding me .. One thing at a time please !!
Okay we are fast forwarding to this past week...
or should I say rewinding ?
Whatever "IT" was~ it lifted and I feel MARVELOUS! well not 100% back to normal but seriously so much better. I wonder if it is all the medication they gave me in the hospital IDK But I do remember I felt like this with both knee replacements too. It just didn't last as long as this time ... maybe it was the trauma with this one ~ I wish I knew ~ whatever it is I do NOT like it !
It all started last week when I was told by my PT girl ( Ashley) I should start practicing driving YAHOO!
So this was my practicing ... I asked hubby to go with me around the subdivision so I could see if everything was good to go and well it didn't quite make it around the sub ( just mainly down the road out of the sub LOL) cause the next thing I hear hubby saying is ... well I guess you practiced enough cause we were on the main road LOL! It was amazing and YES I was alittle EXCITED ( Alot excited) Praise God!
Also on Tuesday Ashley told me to lose the cane I kinda looked at her weird and thought really ?? you sure ? It's my secruity.. she just shock her head yes and smiled . Praise God!
This past Friday I got my knee to bend at 100 degrees I seriously started to cry and we high fived each other . I am so very Thankful .
This past week I also got to ride the stationary bike at PT. I rode it for 5 mins and the 1st minute or so I couldn't quite get it up and over the hump to petal ( was told that's normal) but then once I rocked it a bit then Up and over it went ( What a feeling ) I don't know why in my mind I assoicate that Bike and driving with I am getting better . Don't get me wrong both are BIG things BUT like Ryan at therapy said we are not ready to run around the block yet LOL! YEAH -YEAH -YEAH .
Trust me Ryan is not a debbie downer just a realist and he knows how excited I was to ride the bike so the running around the block was more of a joke .. Like I am going to do that..1st of all I do NOT run LOL!
So the other morning I am watching myself walk in my mirror and notice my right foot is pointing in slightly . I am not sure if its me seeing things or what .
I ask hubby and he said yes it is just slightly .
At therapy I am talking to Ashley she she working on the deep rub / and my scar tissue and she asks me what my least favorite excerise is ?? ( She does this to get my mind off the pain of the deep rub ) OH yes there is 1 that I will call the leg torture .
I am not even sure what they call it BUT think of it as a leg lift to the side BUT laying down on your good side on a table with your back / butt / head right up against the wall and bending your good leg then with your bad leg toes pointing down then slide it up and down the wall as many times as you can . I can only do 18-20 and 20 is pushing it . Ashley said everyone Hates ( even those that are very active in working out hate it too) that one it really works your quads and your hips .
Still having a hard time sitting for long periods of time in that whole quad/hip area but that will get better too .
The video below is what it is BUT I slide my foot on an acrylic wall which is behind me with my butt and shoulders against the wall . It seriously BURNS! by the time PT is all done I will let you know what my count is on this one . Hopefully it will be better than 20 in a few weeks.
So while we were chatting about that I mentioned to her that I think my foot is slightly turned inward and she said it's because of my hip/ quad everything in that area was to be built back up and is still weak . so I asked her what excerise helps that and she gives me the head nod towards the leg torture area . Oh great! Her and Ryan both tell me it is all still so fresh from surgery and it will get alot better in time . so now Ashely has me doing the slides in sets of 5 and then resting instead of sets of 10 and I must admit it still BURNS like crazy but it was slightly better on Friday.
My most favorite time of PT is the Ice and E-Stim machine for 15 mins . After 2 hours of PT I can NOT wait for Ashley or Ryan to say are you ready for ice Ahhhh YEAH!! Hello my best friend ! Ashley is looking into me getting the E stim machine for me to use at home even if I have to rent it I would be willing to do that but really would love to buy one or maybe my Ins. will cover it we shall see. hopefully this week we will find out .
Notice all my stri-strips are off ( yahoo!) BUT there is one spot at the very bottom of my leg that had a scab which fell off after Ashleys rub down ...so I have another stri strip on that to help bring that together and close up .
My Scar is looking for Fabulous :) . It's funny when looking at it~it seems to be starting to fade in parts . The inside by my knee cap and just above are still very tender areas and OUCHIE when the deep rub takes place still . The whole right side of my outter knee area is totally numb.

I filmed a video for you this upcoming week Plus I have my club girls coming over this next Saturday so yesterday was a fun stamping day But I did over do it a tad .
I did get (2) club projects designed and a video filmed Just need to pre -cut everything this upcoming week for Saturday .
