My Father in Law and Momma Jody headed out yesterday and should be back home in TN this morning . What a Wonderful Christmas we had with our family. That was the best Christmas gift under our tree this year.
So many goodies everywhere ... 7- Layer cookies , Pecan Pie, German Chocolate cake , Pumpkin Pie , Coconut Cream pie , Chocolate pie , Cookies .
We had our family photos taken on Thursday which we were scheduled for Wednesday but we got a LOT of snow and it was not safe for anyone to be out in that mess . Thankful Courtney could re schedule us in for Thursday and it was so much fun 2 hours of photos / couple photos / group photos etc....
As soon as we get them I will post some of them. Here is a sneak peek of one of the proof's. We had so much fun !
Speaking of SNOW Dad did something he had not done in years ... Shoveled snow (See photo)
While they were here we went to Bronners /Famous TONYS ( which we were good and we all split this HUGE Nacho). Jody & I went to Home Goods not once but twice .
One thing with this fabulous store is if you see something you really love you should get it because it won't be there the next day . Case in point Jody found these adorable nesting baskets for her Kitchen in the Christmas section which was 60% off .
There were (3) sets of baskets and she picked up 2 I mentioned to her she should just get all 3 but she only picked up 2 then by the time we got to check out she put 1 back ... fast forward ... we got home and dad said she should have got more of those for that price . We went back the next day and she did get another set BUT the 3rd one was gone, as well as the end tables she fell in love with .
We would have went to Ikea but the snow knocked out 1 day of getting out .
Hubby got my Mom & Jody a Pandora Bracelet for Christmas and Pat got Jessie a Pandora.
Dad and Hubby hooked up new heating vents in my Stamping area and my Stampin office while he was here and Hubby got me a Beautiful Computer chair ( see photo) . Dont you love his wrapping with blue duc tape? It's a guy thing LOL!
While dad & hubby went over to the rental house and put in new counter tops and the kitchen sink Friday night I did Shellac on Jody's nails and she loved it ! She picked Clearly Pink and Mother of Pearl ( glitter ) are they pretty or what ?? She has such pretty nails.
Oh and look at the rock on her finger Dad got her ! We all agree her new sparkley nails go so great with her new ring and Pandora bracelet.

I can't believe we are close to a week from Christmas & still no snow here in Michigan ( I am not complaining ) .
We are so excited about this Friday. That's because my Father in law and Jody and coming for Christmas so the Griffith house has been a little crazy getting things ready . Plus the day after Christmas we have a Photographer coming to the house to take family pictures.
We haven't done them since Jessie was little so we thought it was a great time to get that done when the family will be together .
We are having Courtney that did Jessie's Senior Pictures do them for us . She is amazing click HERE to view her website .
I thought I would share 2 of my favorite things for Christmas time wrapping ... These goodies make wrapping a breeze .
Stampin'Up! orders placed by Dec 17, 2012 should arrive in time for Christmas wrapping.
This past Friday was a year ago that our Beloved Bowzer passed away . We miss him so much I don't think a week goes by without one of us bringing him up in a conversation .
He was such a Great dog and when it came to him and dad he always thought of himself as a lap dog
( Yeah right.... a 90 lb lap dog LOL) .
When hubby came home from Iraq it was almost like he started going down hill in his health and maybe he knew Jessie and I were going to be ok now that dad was home again .
He ended up have a Tumor over his left eye and couldn't see much and his back legs were giving out and couldn't go down stairs very good. He fell off the stairs outside into our central air unit .
Such a lover boy and OH my the patience he had with Jess when she thought it would be fun to dress him up in her clothes/ bathing suit or paint his nails . I know he loved every minute of it !
We love you & miss you so much Bowzer !!
My heart is breaking with what happened in CT. this past Friday and the loss of so many little childern & adults . Please God be with all those who have lost their loved ones .
This past Friday we got our Sleep number bed delivered. We went from a queen size to a king size mainly because hubby is so tall (6'5").
While putting the sheets on I did something to my right shoulder.
I am not sure what I did but I can't seem to move my arm forward or above my chest without a sharp pain .
I was thinking I had my shoulder out of join and then my friends on FB mentioned it could be Frozen shoulder... I am not sure what has happened . If it doesn't feel better by tomorrow I will go to the doctor and see what's going on .
So needless to say I can't stamp and didn't film any videos for this week ( sorry) .
I will share items I made before this all happened along with a couple super cute Christmas cards I recieved in the mail last week .
We got some happy news My Father in law and Jody are coming up from TN for Christmas . We are all so excited !
I am shock that yesterday we had 55 degree weather and it looks the same for about the next 4 days .. I better enjoy it because I am sure the snow is just waiting around the corner .
I personally feel as though December is off to a Great start with warm temps and NO snow !
