Yesterday my Mom and I went to a wedding, actually it was a friend who I grew up with it was her son that got married and re-connecting is always a fun time .
I will share the card I made for them tomorrow .
Guess what ?
We have another Glitter Queens blog hop starting tomorrow . I will be posting the link to the 1st stop tomorrow right here on my blog be sure to check out the fabulous projects my Glitter Queens will be sharing with all of us this upcoming week ... I can't wait !
WOWZIE what an amazing week at the Griffith household .
I had my very 1st Morning/Afternoon workshop with my friend Peggy ( photo above )Over the last 9 years of being a demonstrator I have always held workshops in the evenings BUT Peggy's workshop was super GREAT But then again when 12 friends get together and have a fun time stamping it is always GREAT!
This past Friday my cousin Ruthie came over to hang out and stamp with me ( that's our messy area above ) and it was a great time :) .
Ruthie wanted to scrapbook BUT I twisted her arm into making something for Halloween as well . OK maybe not to much of the arm twisting going on since she has 2 young kiddies in school I thought it would be fun to have us make something she could give them this Halloween .
I posted a bunch of photos in the 2012 Founders Circle photo gallery You can check them out HERE .
Founders Circle is always so much fun and there is so much spoiling from SU! on all of us demonstrators and reconnecting with all my Demonstrator friends is the biggest highlight of Founders .
We all get our own room as a matter of fact we get the whole hotel to ourselves plus each night we have a pillow gift waiting in our room .
This year we went down Colorado River / Glen Canyon for our Final event the raft ride was about 3 hours and it was so much fun rafting with all my friends .
We got so many goodies I actually made a trip to the local UPS store and shipped 20lbs of goodies home since I knew it wouldn't all fit into my luggage PLUS the idea of not having to lift that 50lb luggage was more of an incentive to ship stuff home .
PLUS I got the package this past Friday and let me just say It was like Christmas opening that package up . Yeah I knew everything that I had shipped home BUT having it in my hands again Oh what a feeling :)
Oh and lets not forget all the special touches with snacks / decorations / the attention to detail is always so amazing and I feel so blessed and Praise God for having Stampin'Up! be apart of my life for 9 years . ( Oct 3, 2012 will be my 9th SU! Anniversary )
I Never thought in a million years I would 1st of all ~still be stamping and still loving it as much as I did from the 1st day that stamp was inked.
The funny thing was my Mom and Hubby knew that I loved it way before I did and I must admit I fought signing up to be a demonstrator for close to 18 months .
It's one of those things that I can say now that I wish I had not waited so long BUT so happy it wasn't any longer .
WOW like I said what a week huh?
P.S I have heard from a few of you that are having problems viewing my blog
( Lots of empty space and you have to scroll down to view )
Typepad mentioned to update your Internet browzer for Plug Ins .
I use Fire-fox and mine is done automatically.
This should fix it .
Hope this helps and thank you for letting me know .
Here is a super sweet and Simple card for Christmas . I will be posting a video later this week on how I made this Ribbon candy bow .
I am not really sure if that's what they call this type of bow But I remember my Grandma use to have this type of candy around the holidays and it reminds me of that candy so we will just call it that .
I am on my way back home this morning from a FABULOUS time at Founders Circle .

I used the Frosty Friends stamp # 128117

The Greeting is from the stamp set called Christmas Blessings
(w)# 123807
(c)# 123809
I added Cherry Cobbler Scallop Tulle ribbon # 127841.
This past week Hubby got new LED lights for his Harley and WOW what a difference those made . Just wish he had them when he did the Hoka Hey .
This past week my Sciatic flared up and sitting and walking has been so painful by the time Friday rolled around I was really wondering if I was going to be able to make it to Founders Circle .
Wednesday I went to my Chiropractor and she says the nerve can get inflamed just by doing something as simple as sitting a little different or over reaching . Just wish I new what I did so I don't ever do this again .
Well needless to say every day last week I have been icing and laying down (90% of my days last week were in bed) .
I knew if I was even thinking of going to Founders I had to finish up the last 45 swaps that I still needed to make and just in case I wasn't able to attend I could send them to one of my friends to swap them for me .
As of this morning I am feeling better ( Praise God!) But you know how you can still feel that pain and I still seem to be pampering it even more .
Dr. Leigh ( My Chiropractor) gave me BioFreeze & MyoCalm P.M which are a natural muscle relaxer and those have helped so much. I am taking (2) pills every 4 hours .... Plus a good pain lifter is when my Jessie colored and cut my hair for me .
As of this morning I am planning on going to Founders Circle and worse case would be that they would have to wheel me to my gate since the flight I always take to St. George is at the very end of the terminal of Detroit Metro and on good days it's no biggie BUT when the pain hits my leg it seriously takes my breath away.
I have Never felt anything so terrible in pain .... Even compared to my RA, which with my RA that's a constant/throbbing pain on certain days BUT with this Sciatic~ it's a Sharp pain that nearly knocks me over .
I appreciate your prayers .
Here is my Sunday Share video .
This Song Is so AMAZING and I can never sing it with out crying . God is so AWESOME that the Mountains Bow down and the Seas will Roar at the Sound of HIS name ... Just makes me in Awe of how Amazing our God is .
In my life I imagine an audience of ONE ( my Savior ) and everything I do in my life will bring glory to HIM. Keeping my focus on that and not what people say Keeps it REAL for me.
Is it easy ? NO . It's a Daily struggle ...
But the more I learn to keep "ME "out of the bigger picture ( It's NOT all about Me- Me -Me ) . The more I can let God use me the way he wants to so I can glorify HIM more .
Just like the sang says My God is My Comfort~ My Shelter ~ My Tower of Refuge and Strength.
Oh my goodness I still can not believe it is September already . Where has the time gone .
This past Friday we celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary . We went out to dinner and Mom was a little sneaky this year she invited our great friends Steve and Linda to join us . ..
Plus my Mom made 2 small cakes ( 1 ) Cherry Chip and (1) Lemon (for hubby) so yummy .
After the last few weeks with the Hoka Hey it seems things are getting back to some what "normal" at the Griffith home .
One of Hubby's Sponsors for the Hoka Hey is giving him 15% off some new Rinehart Pipes Plus a Great price on the Dyno after pipes are put on ... BUT we are waiting until November to have them put on since ABC Harley will store his Bike for the winter while putting the new pipes on as well .
I am so excited about the new pipes... I have always loved LOUD pipes But over the last few years we have realized that there are all kinds of "loud" versions and the Rineharts pipes will be loud Plus give us the Lope lope lope sounds that I absolutely LOVE!
I'm working on my September newsletter and will have it ready to be sent out on Tuesday .
