Oh my goodness back when I made all those Baby bear cards... It got me thinking about making a Bear family card / Fathers Day card /Birthday card .
Really this card would fit many occasions BUT something so funny while I was showing Hubby and Jessie the card ...Jessie says can you add earings and a lip piercing to the baby bear ( She was assuming she was the baby bear~ I suppose she was assuming correctly LOL).
I think we all laughed for 5 mins while I started adding the earrings and lip piercing to the baby bear
(AKA~Basic Rhinestones #119246 ) so stinkin cute !!
I used so many stamp sets on this one card BUT the card size is 5" x 7" so I needed lots of cute saying/ words to describe "Dad" Just a Thought this could even be a card for MOM just change the "DAD" to "MOM"
I was having fun again editing a photo This time I added even more purple LOL !
The funny thing is that when my mom seen the photo I did a couple week ago HERE with the purple she really thought I did all that to myself .
I don't wear contacts so she should have known I wouldn't buy purple contacts and well for my purple hair.... Ok maybe I would have done that But I didn't . All the purple was just added for fun and I love it ! Next time I need to wear a white shirt and I will do the whole shirt in purple LOL . I did color in the door behind me purple which is suppose to be white but now it's purple . Hummm Thinking I may need a purple door now LOL ..
There is a house on the next street over that does have a Purple front door.. Not sure I could convince hubby a purple front door would be a great idea Hee! Hee!
This past week I recieved some goodies from my sweet friends .
The Mug and adorable card is from my friend Jana Edwards who I met at Leadership this past January . She mentioned she found something and thought of me... Hummm can you guess what that was ? LOVE IT!

Next goodies came from my sweet friend Glenda Calkins I have know Glenda for years pretty much since I started stampin back in 2003.
Even though we both live in Michigan we never seem to hook up BUT we always seem to find each other at SU! events and look what she sent me 2 adorable cards and a Bow maker her son is making Oh my goodness never knew there was such a thing BUT it works like a charm and I love it .

Have to share something our Jessie is doing . She has been bringing home lots of tips every night from work and since they are mostly singles she started saving the dollar bills with her initals (JDG ) on them.
I guess the photo will explain how that works alittle better But basically the dollar bills have letters on them right above the serial numbers and she puts in a folder all the bills with a letter J -D-G ( Jessica Dawn Griffith) She said the letters only go up to the letter K so this works prefect for her and last night she brought down a Wad of bills she has been saving up . Holy Moly !! Hey Jess can we take a loan? LOL !

I use the Curly Label punch # 119851 to punch out Happy Birthday .
We are getting our Taxes done today since Hubby has been transfered to a new job location Sunday's are his only day off and the rest of the week he gets home to late, So today is the day to get that done .
Last Saturday while stamping I let out a loud squeal of excitement since I had a light bulb moment LOL! I am sure you must have heard me. Pretty funny when I posted on Face book about my light bulb moment squeal I was told they heard it everywhere . Makes me laugh !
Ok so back to light bulb moment for probably the last 3 or so weeks I was making a type of card and couldn't for the life of me figure out how to make it alot better than what I was doing or what the directions said to do ..
Then Ding Dong light bulb moment exploded !
I am sooo excited & couldn't wait to show hubby and daughter that evening when they came home . so needless to say I have filmed 2 videos for this upcoming week the 1st video will be how to make the card THEN the 2nd video will be the light bulb moment .. OH my goodness I hope to hear you all squeal with excitement too :)
I thought I would make a quick video to show you a nail polish I got ... It's alot of fun BUT I must be so hard on my nails cause within 2 days I had already a chip on one of my nails so I have since went back to Shellac ( What was I thinking ??) Shellac is amazing and lasts me at least 2-3 weeks,
But it was fun while it lasted...playing with a new "Non" Shellac nail polish LOL !
So for my Sunday share video today is the Magnetix nail polish from China Glaze ( Below) .
I seriously have no clue how it works... But something about the nail polish is infused with iron powder. I was alittle curious when the girl told Jess and I about it . But it really does work ( enter Dawn's Shocked face ) .
Just takes a little practice holding the magnet as close as possible without touching it . That's funny cause it took me about 7 trys on 1 nail .
I bought (2) Magnetix nail polish's and got the magnet FREE at Sally's Beauty Supply The special ends March 31, 2012

Ok who is crazy about Pinterest ? I have been having so much fun looking at all the pretty things they have on there and I actually got inspired to make this gift tag from one I seen on pinterest . Pinterest is really a site to get your creative juices following that's for sure .
When I 1st sat down to recreate the tag I seen on there I really had no idea where it was going to end up since the tag I seen used so many different items I just started with a piece of Baja Breeze card stock and used the stamp set called

Today's Angry birds card has a little story behind it ...
This past week I was talking with Jessie and she was asking me about how to cut a Flat Top hair cut .
I will also share a little history on me today .
I am a Licensed Cosmetologist and use to work at the barber shop on the Seabee base in Port Hueneme CA . When I 1st started working there I had no idea how to cut a flat top either and one of the guys that worked there took me under his wings and taught me how to cut a Flat top . I absolutely loved working there .
I was cutting 52 hair cuts a day and it was such a great job . Quickand easy Military haircuts ( 3/4 high & tight & flat tops ) were the most popular.
So when Jessie was asking me how to cut a flat top I was thinking I need to actually show her so We both sent a text to cousin ( Ruthie) and asked her if Kirk ( her hubby) would lend me his head to show Jessie how to do a Flat top and while I did that why not make a video too :) .
Just a heads up a Flat top video will be coming soon just need to wait until Kirks hair grows out . Kirk is a Police officer and his hair is always a flat top and he just recently got it cut .
They came over one night before all this talk about us cutting Kirks hair and Ruthie seen the Angry Birds card I got as a swap from my sweet Friend Debbie and since seeing that card Ruthie said on Face Book she was going to hold Kirk's head Hostage until she got her own Angry birds card LOL so I can officially say the ransom has been paid ( see the card above ) so now we wait for Kirks hair to grow LOL .

My Hubby got transferred to a new job location This past Wednesday ( Marathon oil refinery) and has since shaved off his beard all he has is his Mustache. For safety reasons everyone must have no facial hair to get in the way of a respirator mask if needed .
I haven't seen my handsome hubby with a clean shaved face in years . I remember when my dad did this once in awhile and he always looked so mad after .
I actually shaved hubby's face in steps 1st we shaved it down to a goatee then off that came within a couple hours . He is so handsome He is able to keep his long hair which it doesn't look like it in Photo #3 but he just got out of the shower and his hair was slicked back .
Thanks to Jessie for making the photo collage of her Dad for me and while we were doing that she showed me some really fun other stuff which we then added a bunch of purple (to my hair, eyes and my shirt) to my picture LOVE IT!
Ok who seen Jessica Sanchez sing Whitney Houston this past Wednesday night OMG!! she was amazing !!
I seriously had goosebumps the whole time WOW!!
Since my Momma missed it ... she asked if I was going to share it on my Sunday Share so Here you go Momma I also posted Whitney singing ~ What amazing Voice she had .

You know that old saying Better late than never .. Well that fits me today. I recieved some beautiful goodies from my dear sweet friends over the last few months and WOW I totally forgot to share them with you .
The 1st card is from my sweet friend Corinne Somerville AKA Roxy . A couple months ago while on Face Book I seen her mention Birch run and I totally freaked out since Birch run is like 45 mins from me and my 1st thought was OMG Roxy is coming to MI and she can come and see me .. That's what I get for assuming things LOL .
She was actually looking for someone to make a run to Birch run for some MAC makeup and well that popped my balloon really fast :( .
So long story short I ended up getting her the makeup at a much closer location to me for her and she sent me this adorable thank you card . Thank you Roxy !
This Beautiful card is from me sweet friend Patty Chenail she sent me this adorable Christmas card using an awesome color combo and Love that set too . Thank you so much Patty.
Patty and Paul ( her hubby ) are also our Harley riding friends and Patty is actually planning our Harley riding adventure in Flordia when we go in April. Just don't tell her I don't think I can ride for 12 hours ( Just saying LOL !) Thank you Patty !
