1st card  today is  from Faye  Love her card . She used Angelic Joy  stamp set ( Holiday mini) . Looks like a present  wrapped up with a pretty bow .

Speaking of the ornament punch still no news on  when this punch will be available again, SU! is  working on it and I will keep you posted when it  becomes available  again .

Next card  is  from Judy  Love her card too.  The reflection / mirror image is one of my  favorite techniques .

Judy used Lovely as a Tree stamp set #115026  and also Winter Post stamp set # 111780 . Love how Judy  added the white  skate marks on the ice .. Very cute Judy ( LOVE IT)

This  ornament  of ice skates  and  candy holder  are  from Petrina  Oh my  goodness  these ice skates are  sooo darling . I am not  sure what she used  to make  them or  even how  she did it But I sure do love those skates !  Good thing I snapped this photo before the  chocolate disappeared  ...HUMMM  I wonder what happened  to that? LOL

Thank you  all for your  Christmas wishes via Email / comments / card & gifts . I hope  your  Christmas was as wonderful . 

The Bestest Christmas present this year was having my hubby home.  What  could be better  than that ?

Hubby got a new leather jacket and leather chaps  for him  to wear  when he rides the Harley 

 Plus I got him  these Chaps ( PJ's) HERE   ~ sooo stinkin cute ~

I of course  got him the jean (pj's)  too . (check those out right below the Chaps link above )  

Our best  friends Opie and Karen sent us a Beautiful portrait that Karen painted of Jessica's  senior picture.  I will share  that  next week since I haven't taken a photo of it  yet . It's  sooo AWESOME!  Karen  did a fabulous job  and we LOVE IT! .

Jessie  got a new Fancy Sony A390 Camera PLUS  she  got  a early Christmas  present   when her bestest friend ( You all know who that is  right ?) came home  for  Christmas  and they got to hang out  earlier this week  and guess what ?  They made a new video  YAHOO!

You may be  wondering ~ Did Dawn get anything purple this year  for  Christmas ? OH YEA!!!  .. I got a fabulous PURPLE  chair  for my new stamping area  PLUS a Purple  Snuggie . Oh my goodness It's sooo GREAT!!  

 My new George Foreman grill isn't  purple But I love that too :)

Christmas frame ...

Happy Monday friends !

Here is a 6" X 8"  frame I  found at  the dollar store  and  decided  to make it a little more festive by adding  Candy Cane Christmas Decore Elements in Real Red  # 120912 .

Then  to add some  sparkle I added Sticky Strip #104294  to the edges  then added  some Silver Glass Glitter # 120995.

Cute Candy Cane Cover video

 Todays  video is  totally inspired from Kylie  AKA Billieprd . I seen her fabulous candy cane holders and  Thought OH my  goodness these are sooo stinkin cute  and what a simple  way  to dress up a candy cane .

I contacted  Kylie  and  asked her if  it  would be ok if I did  a video on her candy cane covers but I would use inches for the measurements  and  she said YES!!

 YAHOO!!

Christmas Ornament with Designer paper inside.

Hi Stampers :

Happy Wednesday Friends !

Here is a simple Christmas Ornament that I added  strips of Designer paper inside .

The designer paper is Deck the Halls # 120810

I cut strips at 6" x  1/2"  and I used about ( 30) strips to fill this ornament .

After I cut  all the strips all I did was  wrap them around a paint  brush  and tucked them inside the Ornament~  Easy Peasy HUH?

 ( LOVE IT! )

I  then topped  the ornament off with a bow using the Victoria Crochet Trim # 118481  which I attached with a mini glue dot # 103683  to  the edge of the topper, I also tucked a  strip of this ribbon inside the ornament before adding the topper  back on to it .

Christmas Ornament card .

Hi Stampers :

Todays card  I used the Tags Till Christmas stamp set #121169  with the Ornament punch # 119847 .

 I layered that onto the 2 3/8"Scallop circle punch # 118874

Early Espresso card  stock #119686  for the base

the Deck the Halls Designer paper # 120810 

 cut at 2 3/4" X 4"

Then  cut  the top with the Scallop Edge punch#119882

The Crumb Cake card  stock #120953 is  cut at 3" X 3"

The greeting is  from Come to Bethleham stamp set # 120591  stamped  in Cherry Cobbler ink # 119669  onto Very Vanilla card  stock #101650  punched out  with the Modern Label punch #119849

I added the  Victoria 5/8" Crochet Trim# 118481

The background on base card ( Early Espresso )  was stamped  with the Autumn Days# 120000  ( Pinecones) in Early Espresso ink # 119670  which doesn't show up  to good in this photo ( sorry)

I Then added a few Basic Rhinestones119246  to the ornament.

Whisper White card stock # 100730 with a strip of Bashful Blue card stock#105120 Plus I added a bunch of Basic Rhinestones # 119246

Happy Sunday Friends !

The moment has arrived to show you the new section of my stamping studio. Its amazing  how much bigger our basement looks. Our  home is a older home built in the 50's  and  sooner or later it  will all be transformed inside. :)

 This past week Hubby finished  the  other side of my Stamping  studio  which is where I film my  videos ( Back corner ) My Hubby will be getting me a new  video chair  ( I seen a really  cute  purple one honey ~ hint hint )  . I  just love my new added space.  Seems like  I have taken over the basement now  .

We got the shelves  and boxes from Ikea.

 The boxes  were ones we put together .  I couldn't see  spending  the same  amount  of $ for 1 box , So we got ( 2 ) boxes for a little less in price ( YAHOO!) . My fingers  are still  alittle  raw  from  putting them all together... But it was well worth it ..

I still have to get the space organized PLUS I need to decorate the walls, and Hubby is going to do a few more things . But this is what it looks like so far ( above photo)  . I love it !

The  right hand side of this space is my Big Shot area  which also holds  all my  cutters ( Circle Scissor Plus / Table top cutter  ect..) with  lots of Big shot die storage boxes  from SU! ( Love these )

This is my Main stamping area  which my hubby re modeled   this space back in 2004 ( you  can view those Photos HERE  ) It's fun looking back on those photos now.

The opposite side of this area is where all my stamps are located( below) .

Glitter Queens Quarterly cards

Hi Stampers :

Here is the card I made for all my Glitter Queens this 2nd quarter . I used  brand new goodies that will be in the new Occasions mini  which starts January 4, 2011.

The stamp set is called Create a Cupcake  PLUS  this set has a matching Punch called Build a Cupcake ~ LOVE IT! ( You didn't  think I would  cut all those pieces out by hand did you ? NO way )

This set and punch are  sooo stinkin cute . Lots of adorable  images in this set that all go with the cupcake theme .

Colors  used for the card  are:

 Certainly Celery / Early Espresso / Pretty in Pink

Winter Post Christmas card ...

 You all will be  so proud of me that I remembered  to write the measurements of my card  down for you all before I mail it out . 

This card is seriously  so simple  But I really love the looks of it ( Kinda reminds me of a  Christmas gift all wrapped up )  . I know I mentioned this many times before BUT I really love Early Espresso and Crumb cake together.. WOW!!!  What a color combo

Dawns Sunday Share 12-5-2010...

Hi Stampers :

Happy Sunday Friends !

Our basement is  still a BIG mess we are currently  remodeling  my Stamping  studio  where I film my  stamping videos . Hubby  removed  my Shampoo  bowl and  cabinet  which  is  going to be my new  video space . I am sooo excited!!

Last night we put up our Christmas tree & other  goodies. Yup my tree is once again decorated in all purple But  we did  had some white lights  with the purple ones  ( Love it ).

 I tried  to take a photo Just not getting  a good one  ( sorry)

 

This Thursday I got my Glitter Queens Quarterly card's  finished  & mailed out  YAHOO!  Here is a photo of  some of the cards that were  ready  to be mailed out. I finished  the  rest of them Thursday night . I will share  the actual card later But I want  them to get it 1st :)

This months Newsletter  I shared  a few photos of Jessie  cutting our cousin Gabbie's hair . Jessie even added  a strip of Hot Pink hair  color  to Gabbie's hair  and she  loves  it ..

Anywho  Ruthie ( Gabbie's Mom & my Favorite Cousin LOL )  snapped a  few phoptos of Jessie  and Gabbie  and I posted them HERE  if  you  would like  to take a peek  . You  can see them  also by clicking the button  on the left  that says DAWNS GALLERIES.

For my  Sunday Share I came across this  Sand Dancer  OH my  goodness  He is Amazing  at what he  does  and  to think it  takes hours  to complete and  he is  racing  against  the tide which washes it  all away .. Why  does he  do it ? You may be surprised ~ so AWESOME! .

Dawns Side note : It's sad that a few people act so terrible to him and his AMAZING work ..

 I used the Jolly Holiday   designer paper # 117159

The tag the snowman is sitting on is from the Two Tags  bigz die # 115954  which pulls out  from under the  center layer as well.

The greeting is  from the stamp set called Curly Cute # 120510  .

I then added  the Old Olive 5/8" GG ribbon #109054 .
