This past Sunday night we had our contempory Church service and I mentioned a few weeks ago I get to organize the game for this service we have once a month and this Month we played Let's make a Deal .
Very little stamping done on my card today since I used the Deck the Halls Designer paper # 120810 for my Christmas card .
This Designer paper is just absolutely Beautiful
Actually the ONLY stamping was for the greeting "Merry Christmas " from the Come to Bethleham stamp set #120591 I really love the font of this greeting .
Stamped the greeting on Very Vanilla card stock # 101650 .
I then punched out with the Modern label punch # 119849 and added a dimensional to pop it up .
I cut out the 2 top flowers and alittle of the greenery to layer behind the flowers .. Seems to just wrap around the Merry Christmas greeting .
I really love the way this card looks so I made another one which I will share that one later with all of you .
P.S I have heard from so many of you wanting me to do a video on yesterday card so I will work on that for you all . Thank you so much for your sweet comments and emails on that card :)
I recieved a beautiful swap card from Erika at Founders circle 2010 ( Below) ) and I just love her card so I made one with slight changes .
I added more flowers from the stamp set Vintage Vogue stamp set # 118598 that are embossed with Clear Embossing Powder #109130
Then I added a Thank you greeting.
The card stock colors are Crumb Cake # 120953 Cherry Cobbler #119685and Whisper white # 100730
I also added Basic Pearls #119247 to the center of my flowers
I did all the stamping 1st then ran about 3/4 of the whisper white card stock through my Big shot with the Perfect Polka dots embossing folder# 117335.
I am so excited to share with you what we did to Jessie's hair apon her return from the Hair show last weekend .. I remember attending these events and being so excited to do so many things with my hair well it was no different with Jess .
The 1st photo is of Jessie and what her hair looked like before leaving for the hair show on Saturday .
She wanted me to cut off all her hair YIKES! Are you kidding me ? Seriously this was not what I had planned on doing Monday evening let alone cutting all her ( BEAUTIFUL ) hair off OMG .

This ribbon is sooo fabulous !
I punch that out the the new Decorative Lable punch # 120907

Thank you so much for sharing in our happy news yesterday. You all made my day with your sweet emails and comments re: my hubby being home from Iraq :)
Church yesterday was sooo fabulous and seeing everyones faces was Priceless. Even Seen a few double takes as well .. sooo FUN! Well worth the secret and soo happy its OUT!
Seriously I am not good with happy secrets like this one was .. Good thing is was only a week to keep it under wraps WHEW!!!
Jessie is coming home this evening from her 1st hair show ( which Rich calls the Bunny show get it? Hare / Hair show) He is sooo goofy .
Yes it is a Very Happy Sunday for the Griffith Home I have some Fabulous news to share with all of you ..
This past Friday My Hubby came home from Iraq for Good PRAISE GOD!
I was wanting to tell you all this Fabulous News when I found out last week BUT we thought we would keep it under wraps until today . That's because at church this morning NO one knows he is going to be there well except 2 other people ( My Mom and our Pastor ) Trust me I had to tell someone It was killing me :)
Our plans were to have him be home for Christmas for good But things in life change and This is a awesome Change .. I am sooo excited OK beyond excited ~But Seriously what other word could express how I am feeling today ...
Rich has been over in Iraq for close to 4 years working as a sub contractor .He is now unemployed But Praying that will change soon .
This past week I thought I would put together a video of some of the outakes I have cut from my videos . That sure was funny well at least it is now, But I remember having to do a few sceens over and over and over again because of a tongue twister / forgetting what product/s I was using and what not ...
It's amazing how editing out parts to a video seems to take longer than filming the actual video LOL
The outtake video was alot of fun to put together I hope you enjoy it and have a tiny laugh when I post it soon .
Last week Jessie colored & highlighted my hair for the 1st time It looks great !!! ( see photo)
Next on the hair list is for Jessie to cut Dads hair . He didn't cut it while he was in Iraq and wasn't going to until he was home for good .. so now its time to figure out what he wants .. Stay tuned
I have a couple Sunday Share videos for you today .. This song is called Grace Like Rain by Todd Agnew .
The 2nd video for you today is one from my favorite Christian comic Tim Hawkins called Hand Sanitizer OMG this is sooo funny
Here is another birthday card I made over the weekend for my friend Trish .
I used my friend Stella MacKay swap card from Founders Circle 2010 for my inspiration with Trish's Birthday card .
I used the same stamp set which the Bird / Owl and bird cage are from the stamp set called Aviary # 120462
The "For You" Greeting is from the Elements of Style stamp set # 120045 and I used the 1" circle punch #119868 with the 1 1/4" circle punch #119861 for Trish's Birthday card.
We both used the Perfect Polka dot embossing folder # 117335 with the Big Shot #113439.
For the colors I changed them to Blushing Bride card stock #119796 But used the Early Espresso card stock# 119686 just like Stella did .
I also changed the ribbon and used the Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Polly Stitched ribbon # 119265 and adhered the Early Espesso 1/8" Taffeta ribbon # 119959 on top of the Pear Pizzazz ribbon.
I also changed the punch to the Scallop Trim border punch # 118402.
I used a piece of designer paper from the Love Birds simply Scrappin kit # 118707 layered that piece of DSP right behind the Early Espresso behind my bird and bird cage .
I also added lots of Rhinestones #119246 to the bird cage .
Thank you Stella for such a sweet swap card ( Love it )
Todays blog post title is alittle weird HUH? LOL For todays card I used my Shimmer paint Frost White #116854 to make my skull pop out at you .. so are you scared ? It's ok I'm not scared either .
I used the Nite Owl Designer paper #123012 and embossed the From the Crypt ( Skull) #115460 with Black embossing powder109133 then added lots of Shimmer paint in Frost White #116854 making sure to rub the embossed black parts off with a tissue before it dries and just repeat until you get the look you are wanting .. Pretty cool huh? I also sponged the egdes of my DSP with Black Classic ink # 101179
The photo doesn't show up very good you may need to click to enlarge But check out the brads on my card .. I took black brads from the Netural Brads # 119736# and added a small Basic Rhinesones Jewels #119246 to the center. Kinda looks like eyes are looking at you ~ Eeeeeeeekk LOL
I finished off my card with my White Gel pen#105021 for some Faux Stiching 3/8"Black Taffeta ribbon #119962 and a few bats using the Bitty Bat punch #119279. Spooky greeting is from the Wicked cool stamp set # 120600.
I made this card for my dear friend Carol's Birthday .
I used the new rub ons called Play Date # 118760 The colors I used are as follows
Tempting Turquoise # 102067
Early Espresso#119686
Oh my goodness I love these 2 colors together .
I also added some 1/8 Taffeta ribbon in Early Espresso # 119959
The Cherry Cobbler #119685 is layered behind the whisper white with the flower .
I stamped Lets Celebrate with Pacific Point classic ink #111837 since it showed up better on the So Saffron card stock #105118 better than the Tempting Turquoise classic ink did and punched that out with the 1 3/8" circle punch #119860 .

The 4th Sunday of the month ( for 4 month) we started a new service at our church on Sunday Nights everything is done in 8 minutes ( preaching /music etc..) very casual and laid back more on the contemporary side of your typical Church service .
I am in charge of the "Topic" game that goes with the sermon . This month is about Temptation and the game of choice will be Lets make a deal .. Remember that game show .. ours will be slightly different But will be alot of fun . Lots of funny things in boxes plus a couple good things too will share more on that after the service later this month :)

Sunday night after I got home from church I had high hopes of uploading the pics from the Ice Cream party for our Pastor Sunday and sharing them with you all yesterday BUT I got busy doing something else so I totally forgot .. so I thought I would share a couple photos with you today .
The main item I wanted to share with you were the cute Ice Cream sundaes we made for center pieces for the tables ..
These are sooo cute and super easy to make just roll pink and white tissue paper into small balls and insert in to cup ( scooped ice cream) the crimped paper (Whipped cream) and the Play dough is rolled in to a small ball for the cherry on top .. So cute huh?
This cute idea came from my friend Linda & she just told me what to do ( Love you Linda )
Also Linda brought her adorable carousel horse she usually has on her front porch of her home But went perfect with the ice cream theme.
By the way here are a couple photos one is of my wonderful friend Linda ( love her ) and the other is of our wonderful Pastor and his family ( Love them too) Yes this is what our Pastor looks like without the cheerleading costume on HERE from VBS this past July LOL
Yesterday was Pastor Appreciation day at our church and here is the card I made our Pastor for his special day .
I used the Newsprint designer paper # 117166 along with Crumb Cake card stock #120953 which I ran through the Big shot with the Square Lattice embossing folder # 119976.
I used the stamp set called Countryside # 120495 and I used the Watercolored Pencils # 101879 to color the truck.
Here is a photo of the inside of the card I used the stamp set called Full of Life # 111500 for the inside .
The little Thank you for the front and inside is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set # 115370
I also used the Ticket corner punch # 119867 , then added some Netural brads ( Crumb Cake ) # 119730.
I forgot to mention in my Sunday Share last week that I got a new camera.. YAHOO but not by choice I have had my cyber shot camera forever then 2 days before leaving for Founders circle it decides to bite the dust . so needless to say I needed another camera so I bought another Sony Cyber shot camera and I love it so much.
I usually use this camera for all my blog photos and its a great camera for those events where I need a small camera to fit in my purse .. This new camera is amazing and I love the photos it takes . so clear and nice..
Click Here for the link to my new camera if your interested .
