Happy Sunday Friends !
Soooo what Have I been doing the last few days ?
I have been "Trying" to design a swap card for SU! Founders retreat next month My Swap card has to be cute BUT ( key word ) super simple to make since I have to make 130 swap cards (YIKES!)
Well the good news I finally decided on a design and started making them Thursday .
Ok so I have 30 done and 100 to go. I am using the Brand new stamp set from the Holiday mini called Dark & Dreary ( see sneak peek photo below ) Yup my swap cards will be a Halloween themed card . As soon as The Holiday mini goes live ( Sept 1st ) I will post a video on them .
Here is my plan ( brace yourself ) If I make at least 10 swaps a day for 13 days I will have them all done before going to Founders .. so thats the plan NOW I just have to do it . The swaps are actually really fun to make BUT I just can't seem to sit down and make all 130 at one time ..
So even if I skip a day or so of making my swaps I still have enough time to get them done before Sept 15th YAHOO!
To help me stay focused on my "plan" I will add the count each day at the bottom of my post as an update .
By the way I showed Jessie my swaps I have done so far and she loves them so I guess they get the teenagers seal of approval Hee! ! Hee!
Jessie and her friend Kayla will be going on a road trip this upcoming week for 4 days to vist Kaylas Grandma .
Jess has the GPS and Kayla has map quest so Hopefully they get to their destination ~Please pray for them and for me :)
Here is my Sunday Share video this week . One of my hubbys favorite bands ( Zac Brown band ) so I have 2 of their videos for you today .
Here is another one from them .
Have a Fabulous Sunday Friends .
Until later.. Happy Stampin!

FC swaps = 30 done ~ 100 still to make
Love the card for you swap.
Girls road trip. How fun is that. I remember 3 girlfriends and I going on a road trip to Florida from IL when I was 20. We didn't have map quest or a GPS just the old folding map. What great memories.

Sounds like a fun road-trip, I too will wish them great success and a safe journey. I've never done 130 cards in one sitting, as a matter of fact I've never done 130 cards in one year! I definitely wish you luck with it.

Dawn, I came across something that I thought you may want to use as a sunday share if you haven't used it already! Go to You tube and search for one minute sermon. It is FABULOUS!

Hi Dawn - a word of advice for your daughter and her friend. Use the GPS or Mapquest but not both at the same. My husband and I have gotten lost several times doing both. Either following Mapquest and only use the GPS if you run into trouble or make sure the GPS and Mapquest are in sync with their directions. Wishing them a safe journey.
