Paper Frame Card ...

Hi Stampers :

Today's video we will be making this paper frame card .

Something new on my  video today as well . Veronica made me overlays  for my  videos  to match my  blog  design . Let me know what you think about it . 

I was so excited  when  Veronica made them  I could hardly  wait to  start adding them to my  videos  But  then I went on  the cruise  so today is the  1st day  I got to use them  YAHOO!

 There is something  else  you may notice that is different  re: my video today . The  1st person to post the correct  answer to what else is different with my video  will get the card  from today's video .

I'm also wearing a  new purple nail polish  in todays video that I  got in St Lucia  while  on the  cruise .. I thought I would post  the details on the  nail polish since I may get some  questions re: the color and  name brand .

The  color is called  Royal Purple and is made by Santee  . Something I thought  was funny is when I  bought  this nail polish  was that I had never heard of this  nail polish  brand  But  when I looked at  the bottom of  the  nail polish  bottle  it said Made in the USA .. How  awesome is  that ? I got  a nail polish Made in the USA in  a different  country .. That's Amazing ! 

The web site doesn't have  the Royal Purple  color I bought in St. Lucia  so I am not  sure  if this is a new color or  a discontinued  color

This is  such a Vibrant  Purple I have never had  such a  beautiful purple nail polish in my collection before   I just love it .

Jessie  got a  fabulous color which is called Vikini Green  Holy moly this color is bright . I added  a photo  to show  you  her new Vikini  Green . Ok enough on the nail polish  back  to  today's video ..

ANSWER:  My  video today has a larger viewing screen because  the black borders  are gone ..

PLUS  I will also send  the  Bashful blue version  to Tina Rivera for being the 2nd  to comment  that there are  no black borders in my video today

and also the other Bashful Blue card is going to Teri Brown  who actually noticed  something that I didn't  even  notice ( Silly me )  it was that I wasn't  wearing my bracelets

May 2010 Thank you notes ...

 Todays video I will be showing you my May 2010 Thank you notes ..

I  really love  the new stamp set called

Elements of style #120045  I really  don't know why I love this set so much since it's not  really my "style"  I guess it's just because its a Fabulous set and  its Shelli's favorite too  .

 This month I couldn't decide  what colors  to make  cause I love this  card in so many colors  so instead of 4  colors I made 5 colors this month and  yes I was going  to make  yet another  Elegant Eggplant  But  thought  you  all my  be getting  sick of my  purple  addiction  so I changed it  to Night of Navy .. But of  course  you  can always make a elegant  eggplant one  if  you like.  It really is  gorgeous in eggplant   IMHO !

2010 Cruise photos part 2

When we entered our cabin  the 1st thing  that greeted us was this incentive trip magnet on the door . 

Then  once inside 8 BIG bottle of water with this adorbable water bottle was waiting  for us .

Here are just a couple of the fabulous Pillow gifts  we received  on the cruise from Stampin Up!.

Each night after dinner we were  blessed with  so many wonderful goodies . I am confused on the exact nights and what gifts we received  as pillow gifts . It all seems  to blend together  right now .

BUT I do remember  we received this backpack for Jessie  and matching wallet  for me the 1st night   which matches  the  clutch and luggage tags we got in the mail before our cruise  you  can  view that HERE

 The Friday night all the demonstrators  all got the matching purse / bag Oh my  goodness  I have  to tell you  Jessie and I were already fighting over who was going to use it 1st :) 

BUT My  awesome Up up up up up line Mary Ammar  at Dinner  the last night  brought her purse and wallet and said she couldn't  fit it in her luggage  and  was wondering if anyone would like  to have  it ..

HELOOOOOO  Oh my  goodness  what a Blessing  when Mary gave it to Jessie .

Jessie was sooo excited  and I seriously  wanted  to cry ...  I told Mary  we would take it back  with us and I would send it  to her  when we got home But she insisted  that   the bag  really wasn't her style  and  that she didn't want  me  to do that .  Thank you  so much Mary.

Each night we had a Fishy  which we were to fill out with our information  and take down to the  hospitality room  for SU! and  take a spin at a wheel for even more goodies  which I received  so many fabulous items all from the  new sumer mini . YAHOO!!!

• On board book ~Briefcase
• Mini vintage tags

Speaking of the Summer mini  did you see the new quick highlight video from SU!? This video  highlights  a few new goodies   from  the  new summer mini (check that video out below )

Also a few items have been carried over from the Occasions mini which are still available which you  can view  that list of items HERE  

Then  we all got a goody package   with a Brand new stamp set  called Printed Petals  with the Bitty buttons# 118761( summer mini ) , Itty bitty shapes punch # 118309 ( summer mini), versa mark ink pad , Chocolate Chip and Old Olive ink pad .

We got to use all the goodies  for our midnight make & take  session ..  which by the  way I wore my PJ's  to this midnight  stamping  event ..OH what fun !

 One other cute  thing SU! did was the SU! corporate team members had a name tag  with a stamp set below their name  and when someone mentioned or said "Isn't that a stamp set? to them  Then  they gave  you a slip of paper with  the stamp set name and  you  got to cash in the slip for that stamp set .. It was  such a secret most didn't know  about it .. that is until the word got out .. Pretty sneaky huh? 

 I got my free stamp set  from Sara ( you  all know Sara  right ? from my workshop of a lifetime HERE  .. Sara is Shelli's daughter)  and  she had All in the Family on her name tag and thats  the set I got :) YAHOO!!

Her hubby had All the in the Family Accessories  stamp set  But I went  with Sara's instead  since we were only allowed 1 free set.. I did notice  Shelli had Vintage Vogue on her name tag .

P.S I am almost caught up on  all your orders  so hopefully  by the end of tomorrow  everyone's Thank you notes  and  FSM tokens  will be on their way  to your mailbox  .. YAHOO I am so excited  that so many of  you  have reached  your 10 FSM  tokens and  you all know what that means :)

 Those of you who have got your  Thank you note already  did you notice my new address lables ?  What do you think ? Cute ?

AMAZING 2010 Cruise part 1 ..

Jessie and I made it back and  WOW what an amazing time  we both had .  We both didn't want it to end 

I really  have  so many photos  to share  with you  so lets  start with  our 1st glance at our ship inside  then on to our  fabulous  room.

Adventure of the Seas  was the name of our  cruise ship and it was sooo AMAZING!!

Our room  was perfect  for us . Midnight  seemed  to be the perfect time for Jess & I  to go to bed  & some nights were even later  than  that . 

Each night  after dinner  we came  back  to our  room  with  a pillow gift from SU! ( will share those fabulous gifts  with you  later) and  fresh  towels  and  a super cute towel animal( see photos) .

Our cute critters  even sported my sunglasses  and flip flops  sooo stinkin  cute ..

SU! had given us 8 bottles of water  for our room  and we just about drank all of them .WHEW it was one HOT HOT HOT vacation :)

Our Ship had 14 floors  and each one had so many  wonderful things  to do and see .

The  top floor had  the in line roller skating , miniature golf , basketball court , Rock wall  and so much more .

 Jessie even got to ice skate on the ship, That was so cool !

Ok now on to my Most favorite part of the ship ...the Pool ~OH YEA!  We  went to the pool every single day and it was even better  since  we got to hang out  with all my stampin friends and chat with Shelli   while getting a tan :)

 Lets not  forget about all the FOOD! Oh my  goodness  the  report  that was told  to us at our formal night of dinner was The ship had 150 tons ( YES 150  tons) of food  on the ship  and well we all know where  that went Hee! Hee! Yes I have  already  felt my withdraw  from eating  24 hrs  a day . 

I can not even begin to tell you how wonderful our cruise  was . I want to send a BIG HUG to SU!  for this Amazing  trip  that was so Awesome  .

The only  thing that would have made it perfect is if my hubby would have been there to enjoy  it with us  .  

I have been getting caught up on making  your Thank you notes  for your orders  while I was away ( Thank you so much ) and getting  caught up on  emails  and reg  things like unpacking & laundry  and  etc..   More photos tomorrow.

Pretty in Pink spotlighting ( again )....

 Todays  card  is  just like  the card I posted  on this past Saturday ( 5-1-2010)

But  this one is Pretty in pink . This brand new stamp called Birthday Block # 118084  and is in the new Summer mini HERE   on the very last page.

This stamp  is just perfect  for the technique called Spotlighting .Love it !!!

Enjoy todays card.  Since Jess and I got home after midnight  I still need some time to get  some of my  photos from the cruise  uploaded to share with you tomorrow  and Wednesday .

 I seriously have so many photos I am sure the photos will have to expand into next week as well,  But Thursday and Friday  will have new videos  for you  so  the rest of the photos will be posted next week and maybe this upcoming Saturday & Sunday .

 Happy Sunday !

As  you  read this post I will be on my way back from the SU! cruise . Oh my goodness I can't  wait  to share my experience  with all of you .  This was my  very 1st incentive trip   from SU!  One thing is   SU! spares NO expense  in treating us Demonstrators/ guests like  King & Queens .

 Upon my  return home I will be getting  caught up on all my  emails / comments /  questions   you have sent me  as well as mailing all  your Thank you notes / FSM tokens  out .

Dawns Cruising Special :

Just like Last weeks Sunday share  video  here is another one of those  amazing  songs  that doesn't mention Jesus  But  when you  Think of Jesus it really  does change the whole meaning  of this song .

Plus as you  watch  todays video below  make  sure  you  catch  all  the "Paying it  foward" acts of kindness and how they all  play  out . I really  enjoy  finding a message in a  song that may have not been intended  to give a Hidden message  about Christ , BUT certainly  can be  if  you  are  thinking of Christ when you listen to it .

Happy May 1st  friends ..

 Here  is  a Brand new  stamp  called Birthday block # 118084   that is in the New Summer mini  and is located on the very last page of the Summer  mini .  The technique  I did on my card is called Spotlighting .

 I will  do another video on this card  soon  But  if  you  want  to check out  the one I did awhile ago click HERE

I also used the Brand new Wheel .. Oh my  goodness  the new Builder wheel spindle & spacers # 119895 are sooo  GREAT! The best part is  that  the new spindle  works  with our current Jumbo handle ## 103661 YAHOO!!! 

  I will also have a video on this  soon too because believe it or not  there is a trick to putting  the end cap on  which took me a  few mins to  figure out .. I really  love the new  smaller wheels  also  we can combined up to 3 on one spindle now  BUT   for my card  I just used  the  one wheel called So many Stars # 118620

Certainly Celery  card stock & ink  was used  on my card and Love  the spotlighting technique  with this stamp . I also used the Certainly Celery satin ribbon # 117288  on my card today.

I am so excited  to  let  you know  that today is the  1st day  for the  new Summer Mini . Hopefully you  all have had  a chance  to check it out .. Its so beautiful .
