Happy Sunday friends !

This past week went by so fast . Jessie & I  had a Great time  having Ashleigh  for the last 10 days . Ashleigh will be  going  home tonight & I am sure she is excited to see her parents .

Last night I had a stamp camp with Holly  and her friends  & we had so much fun  .

I have a Funny Sunday share video today with my  (2) silly  daughters .

Goodies in my mail box..

I got  some goodies in my mail box.

  1st goody is from Kathy Braun  OH my  goodness  Love all the sparkle on her card  and that Purple butterfly  is sooo pretty I love it !   Thank you so much Kathy :)

Next goody comes from Denise Miller  she sent me  this  cute tag  with the newspaper  photo on the backside  that she seen in her local newspaper of hubby & I  from Christmas day flight  scare  with the "underwear bomer " Thank you  so much Denise :) .  Love the tiny tiny  envelope on the front of your tag  sooo cute :)

 

Next goodies  are from Debbie Naylor she  attened  SU! leardership  this month and  while she was there she  bought me  a couple items ~ How sweet is that . The dates  for leadership over-lapped the dates when hubby was here for Christmas   so I  did not attend leadership. Debbie sent me  this bag  and  SU! decal  along with her  Beautiful swap card . Thank you  so much Debbie :)  Thank you so much  girls  for your amazing gifts . You all made my day !!

Valentine treats with Love Bots ...

 Did you see the Love bots in the Occasions mini?

 OH my goodness  they are soo stinkin cute  and so quick & easy put together.

The finished  box  can hold  anything small, I put the fun size of  M&M's inside mine and  they fit . 

What a cute way  to  give  someone a small treat  wrapped in a cute  little box .

You get  a total of (30) Love bot boxes ( 10 each of 3 designs )   with  circle hearts all die cut/ scored and ready to assemble,   along with 30 sticker seals .

You have  your choice in  Love Bots Boy #118081  or Love bots girl  #118080

I added  Pretty in Pink Taffeta ribbon #109067 around mine  as a added embellishment .

The pink bowl with spoon that I am using for my red glitter  are baby dishes I found at my Local Dollar  store  a few years  ago . If I remember  right  there were 2 or 3 in a pack for $1 Hope this helps :)

Hi Stampers : Happy Sunday !

Well this past Friday night  started my journey  with having 2 teenagers in  the house :) Jessie's Friend Ashleigh  is staying  with us  for 10 days  while her parents  are in Florida. 

Something cute happened yesterday after I made a  super sparkly card.  I always  show Jessie my  finished  projects  to get her response BUT now I have "2 daughters" so when I showed them my  finished card "#2 daughter" Ashleigh  said OOOOOOO that is  so  Sparkly and Glamorous. What a HOOT!

I will share  that card with you  tomorrow . stay tuned :)

For my Sunday share  today I wanted to  share  with you  this video my Glitter Queen Jennifer  sent me  this past week OH my goodness  I am such a dog lover and this  will touch  your heart  on so many levels  I laughed and cried  while watching  todays amazing  video .

Here is a larger version of my January Thank you notes,   Well kinda anyway :)

I did the  same  border on my  card  today as I did on my Thank you  notes  for this month  which you  can find that video HERE

I used Pixie pink  classic ink #105212 for  my  borders  and I added the  Heart of Hearts embosslit#117332  with Pixie pink card stock#105121 from in the Occasions mini. 

I also used the  Full Heart punch # 113693 with Whisper white card stock # 100730  which I ran through my Big  shot  machine with the new Perfect Polka Dots impressions  folder # 117335  before I punched the hearts out . I also used the new  Embosslit  called Beautiful wings # 118138 in the Occasions mini  with Pixie pink card stock also  

The greeting is  from the  Well Scripted stamp set #118601

Heart treat cups ...

Hi Stampers :

Here is the card I made to give to my Stampin Queens  last night  for  their Valentines day card . 

 While I was making  these cards to give to them last night, I went ahead and filmed  a video on this card to post  later this week  so stay tuned .

 The Heart treat cups# 120435 are  soo stinkin cute  and  I used the matching  stamp set called Sweetheart#120780

Both of  which are NOT  in  any mini catalog but  can be  found HERE 

You  will also need the Full Heart punch#113693 to add treats to treat cups . I added Red Hot heart candy to mine

I used the Green Galore Card stock #101768 and  the Real red card stock # 102482.

I also used the  Brand new Real red satin ribbon #117286  in the Occasions mini.  

The "Love you much" greeting is from the Well Scripted stamp set # 118601 and Lots of doodle dots again with my White gel pen # 105021

Fishes , Wishes & Kisses

Hi Stampers :

Happy Monday & Martin Lurther King Jr.Day

Here is a cute & simple  Valentines day card I made this weekend  to send  to hubby  in a package  for Valentines day !

It takes at least 2 weeks  to deliver goodies to him over in Iraq, so I am starting early .

Tonight  I am getting together  with a few of my Local stampin  queens  for  some stampin fun  . We are gonna be playing with all kinds of new goodies from the brand new mini's  and I cant wait to see them .

For my card I used  the  whisper  white card stock for the base and the  Real red 3/4" polka dot  GG ribbon # 115608 I used the stamp set called  Who's your Valentine # 115344.

I also used the large oval punch #107305 with the Scallop  oval #114889

I used Certainly Celery # 105106 & Real Red #100052 markers  to color my little fishes  and then added  some  Dazzling diamonds # 102023 to the hearts 

I then  added  some  small hearts along the bottom of my card  with the Small heart punch #117193 from Occasions mini  and added  some doodle  dots to all of those with my white gel pen #105021.

 This upcoming Friday  Jessie will be having her bestfriend  Ashleigh staying with us for 10 days while her parents are in Flordia .

Lets just say I am sure there will not be a dull moment in the Griffith home for those 10 days :)

Larry is  pretty awesome  that's  because he is 62 years old. Gotta give Larry  alot of credit for trying out for American Idol  Plus he  throws out some fancy dance moves . Way to go Larry  OOPS  that's General Larry :)

  Is he not just the cuttest thing  since sliced  bread ? OH  how I love Mr Crabby pants  aka Crab & company  ( retired )  and I love his googley eyes Rita added to him  and lets not  forget all the glitter too ( LOVE IT!!)

  Rita  also knows my Favorite  color is Purple  and look at the inside as well HOLY MOLY   the inside is  so  AWESOME too .

 

Rita also sent me this  grocrey list  and this handy picker upper tool to help me   pick up tiny pieces .

Not your typical St. Pattys day card ..

Hi Stampers :

Todays card  I figure  can be used  for St Pattys day  . I know  it may not be  your typical  St Pattys  card But  it is Green  and It  has the  word Lucky  so what  do you think ? :)

I used Old olive card stock # 100702 with the Brand new stamp  called Dot,Dot,Dot # 115332 from the Occasions mini  stamped the dots  in Old Olive classic ink #102277 

I used the  stamp set Only Ovals # 111666  in the Idea book and catalog HERE .

I love this image from this set . The saying  is soo sweet

" You Are My Friend ...  How Lucky I am " .

I used the Gorgeous Chocolate chip  1 1/4" Stripped GG ribbon # 115617 . This ribbon  is  so  nice and  soft very simple to tie.

 I used the FREE Scallop trim border punch  from the Sale-a-bration mini  ( Love this punch ) 

Just a Simple  sweet card  that can be  for any occasion But  with it being Green  why not  make it a St. Pattys day card :)

Sweet Pea Friend & Big News ....

Hi Stampers:

Here is a super  cute  card I used  the Bigz Clear  die  Scallop square # 115950  along  with the  new Sending Love  designer paper#117153.

 OH my goodness  look at  that sparkle  right on  the designer paper   ..  LOVE that ( click on photo to view  better)  and love that Stampin'Up! designed  paper like this Just for me ..

OK  well maybe  they didn't  design it  with me in mind  BUT  still .... I love it ! 

 I also used the New stamp set called With all my heart # 118623 along with the brand new Sweet Pea stitched felt  # 117266 from the Occasions mini . For  the  sides  with whisper white I just used the scallop edge  punch #112091

 The Big news  

My Hubby is planning on being home for Good  in August 2010  (and maybe even alittle sooner ).

Sunday  was a Really  tough day  for me  at church  since I know everyone  is  sooo sweet  with their  concern and  wanting to know how  everything is   and  to be  honest It really  SUCKS  sending Hubby off to Iraq once again.

  It never  gets easier and  this time seemed even worse , Maybe  thats because  he mentioned he may be staying  until 2011 over there  and that is  just something I could NOT wrap my head around . Another 2 years  apart  would Kill me,  Not   to mention  this time I seen slight changes with my hubby . Little  things like really  quite and distant  and maybe  even alittle  depressed . Probably  didn't help any with the attempted bombing of his flight home on Christmas day .

 Being  away  for so long ( March  will be  3 years )   and  feeling out of the loop  with friends  and family .  He  is  having a hard  time  getting re adjusted  to the  way  things  are  at home. Now mind you  in Iraq he has a Very small room  and no  outside  activies  to do Like go shopping at  the mall , taking  a  long  drive  etc. Just Very Isolated

Anywho everything  Changed Sunday night. He called  and said he wants his Life back with his family & friends   and will be  coming home  for good in Aug 2010 YAHOO!  well that's the date  we  are aiming  for  But it may be alittle sooner than that .I can Not  express  the happiness I felt  on the phone  with him  Sunday night.

Valentine

Hi Stampers :

Here is a super quick  Valentines day card.

I used the  beautiful designer paper  from the Occasions mini called Sending Love # 117153 with the  Full heart punch #113693 and the Scallop edge punch#112091

For the main Heart cut out on Whisper white  base I used the Movers & Shapers curly lable bigz die # 114506 HERE  with the Magnetic Movers & Shapers  ( set of 4 shapes .. (Scallop oval, Heart, Star & Mordern label ) called  Punch windows # 115953  HERE both items are on page 201 in the idea book and catalog .

The Full heart punch was  used with the sending love DSP  for inside the heart

I did a  video on a treat holder  using the same Movers & Shapers die BUT I  used  with the  scallop oval shape NOT  the heart. You can check that video out HERE

 For my Greeting I used the  stamp set Teeny Tiny  wishes # 115370 with the Modern label punch #116630 and  the  Word window punch #105090 . 

I  Love  love love the new 5/8"Satin ribbon in the Occasions mini I used the Real Red  5/8" Satin ribbon # 117286 on my  card  today .

I also used the Paper piercing tool #116631  and the Mat pack#105826  for  the tiny  holes around my heart

This weekend has been really rough since Hubby  left on Friday .. BUT Hubby  surprised me with some BIG news last night   I will share more later ..

Dawns Sunday Share 1-10-2010

Hi Stampers: 

 Wow  what a  2 weeks  we had with hubby :)  It always goes by so fast . Thought I would share  a few more photos of us .  .

  Every time he is home it seems  there is NOT  enough time  to do everything  and see everyone.

 He mentioned  that  in June  when he  comes home for Jessie's Graduation  it  will be  for 21 days  and this will be  the  time we  also plan on buying him a BIG Dog motorcycle. 

We took our  boat in  to be  fixed  in  time  for Jessie's Graduation  party  something with the alternator  and  the blower on the boat that is not  working  so we  took that in  while  he  was home this time . 

 Seemed kinda  weird  driving   down the  road  with a  ski boat  in the  middle  of  a snowy day. 

One thing  we also did is we went over to our  friends  Steve and  Linda's house on New years  day  and we took our  Rock band  and played that  for  hours . I  took  a bunch a small videos and put  them together  which  you  can  click  the video below  to watch if  you  like . It was alot of fun ! I mainly  wanted  to post  that  video here  for my  memories  and understand if  you  dont  want  to  watch.

Todays  cards  are 3X3 in size  and are  the cards I sent to my Glitter Queens for their quarterly card last month  .

Every quarter I send my Glitter Queens a Quarterly card  in Appreciation  for all that they do .  What a Awesome  Group of  Women I have on my Team .( I Love my Glitter Queens !!)

P.S I would love to have a man on my Team too  if your out there :)   You  could  be my 1st Glitter  King :) How  cool would that be? LOVE IT !

For  their card I used the new stamp set from the Occasions mini called Fox & Friends  # 118565 .

This set is so cute and I loved it right off the bat due to my maidan  name is Fox ~ how  cute is  that :)

For the Hi There  I used the  stamp set  Fundamental Phrases # 114968 with the  Word window punch#105090 & the  Modern Label  punch #116630

 I then added  dazzling  diamonds# 102023  to the monkeys bellies .

Tomorrow  my hubby  will also be  going back  to Iraq  after 2 weeks being home .  To say  the least He is  alittle  apprehensive about  flying  back through Amsterdam.

 He tried  to switch  flights  to fly to Alanta then to Dubi BUT Delta / Northwest  was unable to do this  for him :(  Of  course  they could have  gotten him a flight out on  the 31 of Dec but  this would not  be cool  since he just got home on Christmas Day . Very frustrating

Todays card  I used a bunch of new goodies from the Occasions mini catalog HERE  .

I used the  Small heart punch #117193   with  the  very beautiful Designer paper  called  Sending Love #117153  I

I added a upclose photo below  to show  you  all the  pretty  sparkle on this designer paper (LOVE IT! ) 

 I also used the Pinking hearts border punch#117649   with Real red  card stock #102482

 The  I {heart} You  greeting  is  from the  jumbo wheel called I {Love } Love # 117084 

I just wheeled  the  images  out onto Whisper white card stock  then hand cut out  the greeting   then  layered  that onto Real red card stock .

 Then added some real red 3/4" GG polka dot ribbon# 115608

Sneak peek #4

Hi Stampers :

Today will be  the  last  of the sneak peeks  Because  TOMORROW is  the BIG DAY!!!

 Yes it is my Birthday tomorrow ! Hee! Hee! 

  BUT Really  the BIG news  is that   Sale-a-bration and  the Occasions mini  start tomorrow  YAHOO!

  For todays card I made a Easel card  and yupper I have a  video coming soon  so stay tuned .

I used  Whisper white card  stock for  the base  and then used the Brand new  OH  so fabulous  designer paper from the occasions mini  called Shades of Spring # 117160.

 Oh my  goodness I love this  designer paper  cause  it has  LOTS of  purple.

  I used the new  stamp set from the occasions mini catalog  called Abundant Hope # 118547.

I just love  the  font of the Easter Blessing greeting  which is also  in this stamp set .

 I got to use  the brand new Scallop trim border punch which is  one of the ~FREE~

I also used  the matching  Scallop  trim corner punch 118870 which is in the Occasions mini  and  I also used the  Pretties  kit # 109114 of  half  pearls on my  card  .

I just love this card  and yes I know  the daffodil  is  suppose  to be  yellow  BUT  you know me , I had to do  something  different PLUS I  wanted  it  all to  match the  beautiful  designer paper on my card  ..

Random gifts ....

Hi Stampers:

Happy new year !

It's a new  year  and I want to do something new this year..  

For 2010  I will be randomly sending  out  gifts through out the upcoming year to my Stampin Up!  customers .

 I have no idea who will get the gifts  over the upcoming  days , weeks & months,  since they will all be picked  randomly  from my Stampin'Up!  customer database,  Just know the gifts will be stamping related . 

I will be Kinda like a  Secret Santa  all year long  the only  thing is  YOU won't know  your getting  something  until you get it ~  How FUN is that :) 

So any ideas on what we could call this random gift giving ?

 I would love to hear  what you think :)

 Also  did you notice  the  new mini catalogs  are located on the right hand side  of my   blog along with the  supply list for each mini  ( Occassions  mini & Sale-a-Bration Mini )  SU! ran into a  slight  delay  for shipping  them out to you  for me ... Sooo sorry :(

Jessie's room update ..

Hi Stampers :

Happy New Year friends :)

Here are  some photos of Jessie's new room . There  were 3 things  she asked  to do  to her  room this time around .

1. She  wanted  to change  the color  from pink and orange to Purple & Gray  actually  the  colors are called  Darkest Grape on 3 walls and  Elephant skin  gray  on the 4th wall and ceiling  from  home depot in Behr paint . The colors look fabulous !

2nd  she wanted  to have a a sitting area   for her and her  friends when they come over . We found this  super cute  mini couch/ pull out bed  at Ikea  for less than 150.00  in Dark gray  the photo looks  like its black ~But it isn't

3rd  she wanted to  add a  new closest organizer  for her clothes. Since she lost her  large  dresser she  need  more  space  for the items  her large dresser  held . We had  since add a new curtain  to close off her closest.

Jessie Loves her room ..  I feel as though when I go into her room  it's like a college dorm room,  everything has its place  and is just perfect for her and what she  wanted .  :)
