Hi Stampers : Happy Sunday Friends:)
This past week I had to do something that was very sad for me to do .. I had to call and cancel my Hubby's ticket for the Stampin'Up! incentive trip ( Cruise ) I had earned to go on in April 2010.
As hard as it was to call and cancel the already arranged itinerary for this cruise I even called my SAM ( Service account manager ) and had a Boo Hoo on her shoulder She is sooo AWESOME!!
I had arranged back in Aug for my Hubby to be my 1st guest for the cruise and we were taking Jessie as my add on guest ( SU! gives incentive trip earners 2 FREE all expensense paid tickets for Cruise & Flight ) We pay for the extra guests if we have any ... well
Hubby was my 1st guest which was FREE I had pre paid for the cruise part of the trip for our Jessie to go back in Aug and well the flight info for her was waiting for confirmation.
I talked to hubby and he said he wasn't able to go since he is allowed in states for 30 days within a contract year this would not allow him to attend Jessie's Graduation in May so he made a choice to NOT go on the cruise with Jess and I. Plus He will be over in Iraq for yet another year this was His choice.
The good news is they refunded a % of the cruise amount we paid for Jessie and also made Jessie my 1st guest instead of my hubby .. Praise God !
As much as I want my hubby to go with Jess & I on my 1st incentive trip with SU! I totally understand Very SAD but I understand :( Just wish we could all be in 2 places at one time .
Starting Tomorrow~ (Monday) I will begin sharing on Mondays for the rest of the month some samples/ sneak peeks from the Occasions Mini and Sale-a-bration.
All items in the new mini catalogs will be available starting on January 5, 2010
I have to share with you the photos I took of my Bowzer yesterday .. Jessie put one of her t shirts on him and what a HOOT! Ever since Jessie was little she has always dressed Bowzer up in her clothes. He is such a sweet doggie cause he lets her ..

The 2nd video is one that compares Jesus to santa .. Hummmm....Interesting comparison wouldn't you say ?
Until later ... Happy Stampin !
Have a Fabulous Sunday friends :)

I'm so sorry your family won't be together on the cruise, but since you are already sad...Jessie will probably be leaving home soon and what a lovely time you can have together. A mother/daughter trip can be awesome. I about died when my daughter left for college (one of our church's universities). The campus had webcams I would email her and tell her to run in front of the webcam just so I could see her! She called that stalking but it did give me peace of mind.Hope you can enjoy the cruise and your DH being home for Jessie's graduation.

I am so sorry to hear that your Husband can't go on the cruse with you! I know that must be so sad but you get to have time with your daughter sharing in something that you love! I am so happy that you get to go! Know you will have a most wonderful time and that God will be with you and your husband even though he will not be there with you both!

Sad news, however, I am sure you will cherish your mother/daughter time together. I absolutely love your Jesus/Santa video. Thanks for posting.

Congratulations on your 300th video. I hope you get back in abundance all that you give to us through your videos. You inspire me every week and I am so grateful that I found your waterfall card on youtube. I started with pre folded cards and stickers and now, I am making cards from folding 12x12 cardstock, stamping, embossing and adding glitter. I even did a window sheet card. I never thought I could do all the things in your videos. Thank you for sharing your ideas and for making such a difference. I do have a question - what is the top, best tape or glue to use on window sheets? I did a penguin Christmas version of the beautiful snowman card you did but worried the window sheet won't stay attached for mailing. Any suggestions? Thank you for everything and all the best today and always.

LOVED the videos you provided (snippets from FireProof and comparison between Jesus and Santa. Great stuff! Praise God! Sent it to my Pastor to watch too. Sorry your hubby cannot go, but the bright side is he WILL be there for her graduation and that's an important milestone in her life and Dad needs and wants to be there for her. Blessings to you and yours, Kathy, Reno, NV

Sorry your hubby wasn't able to go with you guys, but I bet you will still have an amazing time!!! Congrat's on getting to go on the cruise.
Your dog is so cute. I have a half choc lab half german shepherd and I have a thing for chocolate dogs, they are so cute :-)
Fireproof is one of my favorite movies. I have watched it so many times and have made other people watch it as well and they love it!

sorry about your husband not being able to go with y'all, but I'm thankful for what he does, as I also serve in the army... I hope you enjoy your time with him while he's home and thanks for the santa/Jesus comparison... it's very true and a different way to show the true meaning of Christmas... have a great week! I look forward to your videos!

Oh Dawn, I don't know what to say, but my first thought was since this door has closed maybe the door that opens for you is to take your mom with you & Jess. I know it won't be the same, but it's an alternative. Unless you want me to go?
