Hi Dawn - Your prayer request has been added to my list. Where, specifically, is your husband? I'm a SU Demo in Canyon Lake, TX and I read your blog daily. My Son-in-law is currently in Kirkuk and my Daughter (his wife) is in Kuwait awaiting entry to Iraq. They are both Army 1st Cav. We have their three children while they are gone. Please know that we stand with you & yours and have you in our thoughts and prayers.

God bless you, Dawn. I will be praying for your husband and all of our beloved military serving away from their families and in dangerous places. Where would we be without our military? God bless all of them. I can't help but pray right here ... Lord, keep them safe and bring them home. Cover them with Your protection and let them all know the peace that only You can give. Be with Dawn and the other families. Let them continue to turn to You and relish in the Hope only You can give. Amen.

You, your husband & his unit are in my thoughts & prayers. I live in Nova Scotia Canada & my brother served in Afghanistan last year. It is so difficult on everyone involved and my heart goes out to you & yours. Here in Canada we wear something red on Friday to honor our men & women serving in conflict. We will wear red until all of them come home safe & sound. Keep up your wonderful blog posts. Lots of Love

Dawn
I pray that the Lord will send his angels to guard your husband camp and that they will be like a giant mesh covering over him so that nothing can penetrate his area.
This was my devotional reading this morning...Now I know why the Lord highlighted it for me.Psalm 27:3 & 13 I remain confident that even if I am attacked the enemy will fall and I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

I so know what you feel right now. My husband spent eight months at Camp Bucca, Iraq last year. Every time I would hear of an attack I would just be a wreck on the inside...but had to stay strong on the outside so that my son wouldn't know. I will put your husband and his unit on my prayer list as well as all of their families. May God bless you and please let me know if you ever need ANYTHING!
