Hi Stampers:
Today I wanted to show you a sweet Spring card ~ well at least every time I use this stamp set I think of Spring-time.
I love all the cute images in this set, sooo much so that I will be using this stamp set for my May Thank you Notes .( stay tuned )
For my card today I used the Walk in the park designer series paper #115123 along with the So Saffron Card stock #105118 and the new Chocolate chip Corduroy Buttons #114339 for the centers of my little flowers :)
The eyelet border punch #113692 was used again for my card today.
The color inks I used were Chocolate chip #100908 / So Saffron #105213 / Cameo Coral #103035 /Always Artichoke#105219.
The greeting fits perfectly right under the branch ( LOVE IT) I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig #101049 for that part :)

Hi Stampers :
Today's video we will be doing the mirror image or what some call the reflection technique . Window sheets #114323 are the focus here .
Window sheets make getting this mirror image super easy and alot of fun . I used the Stamp set called Lovely as a tree #115026
This stamp set is probably one of the top 5 in my All time favorite stamp sets It has been around for a awhile But I Love it Just as much as when I 1st bought it years ago .
I will also show you how I got my finished card using a bunch of different colored inks & sponges/daubers.
I will be using Glossy card stock #102599 . I have done this technique with whisper white as well BUT I love using glossy card stock the most for these types of cards.

Todays 2nd post is NSR (Non stamping related )
In My never ending search for the Great Pickle I thought I would send out a personal A.P.B ( Amazing Pickle Bulletin ).
As most of my readers know I love pickles and my family can share stories with you HOW much I LOVE pickles and yes I Love Love Love Pickle Juice too ~ WHY OH WHY don't they sell just the pickle juice? I would buy it :)
My search for the Great pickle search is for Not just Any pickle It has to be sour ~ You know the ones that make your lips pucker and eyes squint ( I see you doing that face right now ) ..
I have found the bestest pickle ( so far ) at my local BP gas station called FREESTONE ( see above photo ) I have went to the companys web site for shipment ( of the one above ) BUT sad to read this flavor pickle is only sold to retailers and Not to the public ( me ) in quanity BOO HOO!
I also contacted Freestone & wanted to know if I could just purchase the juice ~ well I think they think I am a weirdo since I haven't heard back from me Boo Hoo! so My BP station is the only place that I have found these pickles ..
Next in line would be the hamburger slices that Aldi sell OH MY goodness these pickles ROCK!! and for $1.29 for a whole Jar I am in Pickle heaven ~ sorry no photo cause I ate them all :) Hee! Hee!
Next on the list is Vlasic pickles
HEY did you know there is a scale on the Vlasic pickle jars ( maybe it is just on the dill pickle jars ) ~
I did find whole pickles (not slices ~ but It doesn't really matter to me ) at Sams club ( yes the BIG jar ) BUT they only are a #2 on the scale
BUT rest assured I found a #3 scale ( see photo ) at my local Walmart OH my goodness these are soo YUMMY too
I have never seen a #4 or #5 and believe me I have searched SOOOO if you know where PLEASE tell me !
My good friend Gina bought me Pickle chips.. Which by the way are really very tastey BUT not like having a real pickle IMHO ( in my humble opinon ) But a very very good fill in for the pickle crave :)
Soo my Great pickle search brings me to you my Fabulous stamping friends Where are the Best Pickles ?
Jimmy Johns isn't sour enough (Plus you don't get the juice), & sweet pickles YUCK.
Believe me I have tried them all BUT I am always open for more AWESOME pickles to join my list .
I actually was going to post this on April fools day BUT seriously This is NO Joke Just ask my family.. They have Stories Trust me :)

Such a little thing with a Big Bang ~ Why you ask ? Embosslit's will cut out and emboss the image all at the same time when you run it through the big shot . ~Gotta love that right ?

Hi Stampers :
OH my goodness ~ Look at the new printed window sheets in the new Occasions mini ..
This is one of the 4 designs printed right on the window sheet
YAHOO!!
I am soo excited to see the window sheets again I missed them so much after they retired BUT this time both sets of window sheets in the mini are 12 X 12 sooo Fabulous.
Anywho~ The printed window sheet#115122 is what I used on my card today . I secured the printed layer down with 3 brads , Its a pretty simple card .
The only stamping that I did was to add the Dear Friend from the Bella Blossoms stamp set # 111596 this set is on the Dormant list which you can view that list HERE I also have the list on the left hand side of my blog under the catalogs.
I stamped that greeting in Whisper white Craft ink#101731. The colors I used for my card are Regal Rose #105130 and Basic gray#108692 and Pretty in Pink # 100459 card stock .

Hi Stampers:
Here is my open swing top card I made this past weekend. You can check out the video I did on how to make this style card HERE .
I thought since I was asked by Maria on my Cbox yesterday about offering blog candy and since I haven't done one in awhile why not do one today :)
While standing at the check out line at my local store yesterday I picked up the People Magazine and thumbing through I seen towards the back 2 photo's of the same photo just things were not the same as in the other photo so it got me thinking .. (HUMMM I know that could be dangerous :)
So I thought we would have some fun today . I made the above card as my "Before " sample, Then I made a card very simular to that card, which will be considered my "After " Card
List the (12) things I did different on my "After " card compared to my "Before " Card (each item that changed must be listed separtely and NOT group together ) Somethings are obvious and some are subtel changes BUT You must List All 12 things that are different on the "After" card -vs- the "Before " card
Here is what you need to do . In the comment section below this post ~
and the 1st person ( Jennifer Phillips got all correct ~ check list of 12 at very bottom if you want to know ) to list all 12 correctly will get this blog candy + the "After" Card .
Dawns Side Note : I will mention that I used the same Whisper white card stock , Baja breeze card stock along with the Walk in the park designer paper # 115123 the same punches and the Great Friend Stamp set # 113792 for both cards .

Hi Stampers :
Today is one of those No layer cards. Just simple and clean using the stamp set Cheep talk #113204 ..
What I love most about this card are those 2 super cute Chocolate chip Corduroy buttons #114339 made into flowers.. Oh my goodness . The cute little stems are the perfect size to make short & squatty flowers. ( you can click on photo to enlarge your viewing )
The actual flower part was made from the Big Bold Cupcake 4 pack sizzlit dies # 114509 using Apricot Appeal Card stock # 105124.
I also think the greeting ( also in Cheep Talk stamp set) on this card is just the sweetest thing too :)
Hey did you notice I added glitter to my cute bird ? No I have not been on a glitter strike 
But I am still recovering from my big dump over from last week .. I'm almost over it

I shared with my "Tweets" on Twitter this Sunday that my Jessie said the sweetest thing to me while we were at Lunch after church . She said " Mom if you were a booger ~ I would pick you 1st" Awwww sweet words a Mom always longs to hear HUH?

This past weekend my Glitter Queens and I got some very sad news 2 of our Glitter Queens lost 2 very special people in their life . Teri Lost her Mother and Cindy lost her Husband.
I made these cards for them yesterday which are going out in the mail today .
Do they looks Familiar?
They should since I used the same design as yesterday's( 4-5-09) card sample, But used different color card stock & designer paper
Pretty in pink card stock #100459 &
So Saffron #105118
Designer paper is Tea Party #113992
I used the same stamp set's as yesterday
Matchbox messages # 113800 in the Occasions mini and
Thoughts & Prayers # 113252 on pg 58 in big catalog
with the Scallop oval punch #114889 from the Occasions mini HERE .
Other items used for my cards today are the
Eyelet Border punch # 113692
Vellum cardstock # 101856 &
Organza Ribbon # 114319
I also took this photo of what the cards look like on the inside (the one on the right is what it looks like inside of both cards) .

Happy Sunday everyone :)
For todays card I used alot of goodies from the Occasions mini the designer paper is from Walk in the Park # 115123 Plus the new Scallop oval punch # 114889 was used to hold the greeting Praying for you which came from the stamp set Thoughts & Prayers # 113252 The frame is from the new stamp set called Matchbox Messages # 113800 which is also in the new occasions mini .
Vellum cardstock# 101856 was used for the border on the left hand side with the Eyelet border punch # 113692.
I then added some paper piercing holes and also added a few black brads. and lets not forget the Basic Gray Taffeta ribbon #109064
I am sooo excited to see the Walk in the park designer paper since it has so many fabulous designs Plus the Basic gray color is mixed in ~ LOVE IT!!

I want to send a BIG Thank you to all of you that have picked me to be your Demonstrator . I appreciate you so Much . All of you know that with each other you place with me you get a Thank you note. I send new designs out each month.
I try and pick a stamp set that has a few images so you won't get the same Thank you note when you place multiple orders with me through out the month.
This months Thank you notes are using the Brand new Scallop oval punch #114889 and the new Oval All Stamp set #113790 both of which are in the new Occasions mini .
Plus I got to use the Sprinkles #115076 stamp set which I think goes so great with the Oval all stamp set each set has 4 images that coordinate so cute together .. so this month we have 4 designs for my Thank you Notes .
I have heard from so many of you that you're keeping my Thank you notes you get with your order/s . This is sooo sweet. But just know the Thank you notes I send you can be used for your personal use as well since I don't stamp my name on them or write anything inside the Thank you note . Whatever you decide to use them for it's totally up to you Just know I send a BIG Thank you with each one I send to YOU!!
