WHOOOO HOOOO a AWESOME special is going on with Stampin Up! that starts today through Dec 15th .. CLICK HERE to see all the goodies that will be flying off the shelf girls ..PLUS I have a special for TODAY ONLY email me for details on this ONE day special from me to YOU! ...
Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful. Todays card was the card I gave away this morning on my blog COUNTING MY BLESSINGS I used the stamp set from the mini called STEM SILHOUETTES ( this set will be gone after this month girls ) I used River Rock ink and cardstock with the chocolate chip taffeta ribbon and dazzling diamonds . This technique is called reverse masking . I used the coluzzle to cut my template out for the center and then laid the template on the front of my card and used my dauber with River Rock ink and applied the ink inside the cut out template . I then stamped the images with chocolate chip ink inside this template also ( But first stamped off to make image lighter ) .. removed the circle template and stamped the same image in Chocolate chip full color .. Pretty spiffy huh? I then dragged the 2 way glue pen flat tip around the base card edges and then added dazzling diamonds .. WOW!!
Thanks for stopping in today and can't wait to hear from you ..
Until later ... Happy Stampin!!
Good Morning Dawn!
I hope your Thanksgiving was nice! Did you eat tons? I love holidays!
Beautiful card! I love this set and I know I will get tons of use out of it for years to come. I wondered how you did the edge all the time...darn girl you got a steady hand applying such a straight line of glue!
Hope you have a fantastic Friday!
Hugs

I've got you on google reader so I don't miss a single post. Thanks for sharing.

P.S. I've got a post on my blog tomorrow that links and references to your post about the peppermint patty holder - you inspired me!

Dawn, your card is stunning! I love elegant cards and you nailed it with this one! I am so behind in using teqhniques. I have got to start trying some of them like the reverse masking. I hope your Thanksgiving day was as wonderful as it could be. I see on your counter that Rich will be home in just 34 days. YaY. Just in time for Christmas? :)
