Cards for Troops keeps on GROWING

  In my endless search for the perfect Salt and Vinegar  potato chip I have finally  found 2  that are to die for .. the  1st on the list  which is  my  ultimate favorite  in Salt & Vinegar is  the  brand name  ARCHER FARMS .. OH my  girls  these chips ROCK my world     the brand of chip is a  kettle  cooked  style  and the flavor of the salt and vinegar is  sooo  perfect  Not to strong  Just the perfect  blend .. you can find these chips at  Target stores  for 1.99 for a big bag  YUMMY YUMMY!!

The next  on my  favorite list of Salt and Vinegar chips is  Uncle Rays   a  Local Michigan  boy  in 1965 founded  this awesome chip company in Dearborn MI  and is located  now in Detroit.  You can read the  whole story on Uncle Rays chips site HERE  click on  OUR COMPANY    and also  chapters are printed right on the back of each bag of chips ..  such a  awesome personal touch IMHO  and  what a awesome  Reason  to why he started doing that  read  that part  HERE   & be sure to read the Uncle Ray chapters online  also   to see how it all got started ..The  bestest part of Uncle Ray is that he is a Christian ..  and proudly proclaims this on the home page of his   web site ( check it out  Praise  God !! )   These chips  are VERY strong in favor ( Love them )  and  are your typical  potato chip ( Not kettle cooked ) Both  are my  Most Favorite  chips .. and Yup I  am sending some to Rich  cause he love Salt and Vinegar too ..

Last night Jessie had a Spring fling event at her  school  all night  from 8:30pm last night until 6:00am this morning .. up all night  with friends  they went  roller skating ,  and played whirly ball and   then to Laser tag, Had Pizza  and  a ton of fun ..  and well  since  Jessie was  out and about having  a great time  I was   also ..  Cause I was stampin  with my  girls   for my fee fi faux fun II class  last night . Here is a card from  the class last night that we made  doing the  Faux wood Grain Technique .. What a Great time  we had .. Thanks girls ..

  Yesterday was  another awesome  Mail day YAHOO!  But the sad news  was the my mail man didn't get the update  on   the count,   since I was at the dentist office  when he delivered the goodies .. I got  3 packages  yesterday  1 from Carri Steele , 1 from   Christina  Muller  and 1 from Jen  Young In Hawaii .. You  girls are soo  sweet .. I have been receiving  little goodies in your packages   from  a personal card for me  with  such sweet notes ,  I even got a   day planner with magnet pen  for the frig, I got a  bunch of   accessories  and Yesterday Jen sent me a package of Chocolate Macadam eon  nuts  with a note  that said "A little  sunshine from Hawaii  for Dawn"   w/ a   cute card  with a turtle   wearing a hat ( which she also  colored in Purple .. and personal note inside .. You all  are sooo sweet  I  feel so unworthy to  be on the receiving end of  such  wonderful   goodies .. When it is all  of YOU that are doing  such a  beautiful thing for our troops  and of course making my hubby the most wanted man   over  there in Iraq .. Its  you all   that sooo deserve  these  sweet goodies .. Thank you  from the bottom of my heart ..  Reading all your personal  cards with notes inside makes my heart smile soo very big and brings me to  shedding tears of  JOY! Just imagine  how you all are going to make our troops feel when  they  get these cards ..  You all are changing the world   with your kindness .. Words can not express  My  deep appreciation  to all of you . You all have really went beyond my   expectations  in this mission  for cards for the troops ..  It just blows my mind  how many  card I have received  in such a short time .. you all  are  sooo awesome . Want to hear something really   cool ??  I talked to hubby last night and  told him  about Ruthie and Kirks idea  about " OPERATION GLITTER DROP " and how all that started with Sharon  posting a comment on my blog  about naming  the   card shop and  that I thought  they should call their portable Hallmark  store  that over there "OPERATION GLITTER DROP" ... Rich   got such a kick out of the name  I really hope he makes up signs  for his  area  for the   troops to come and  get their free cards . I of course told him  we need  to see Tons of photos .. Then  Rich told me  they already have a manager for the   Operation glitter drop  card shop  and are just waiting for them to start arriving .. YAHOO! How  funny is that Hee! Hee! What a blessing it will be  For  Rich and His Manager ( Hee! Hee! )   to hand out these awesome cards & to see the smiles  the troops have on their face  when  the troops find the most perfect card to send home  to their  loved one .. Can  you just  picture those days when this all happens ? He had BETTER take lots of  photos  especially of their Grand Opening Day   Hee! Hee!  and to think you all had  a part of all this  girls .. You all  Just can not imagine  what you all have done .. Thank you  so Very much ..

It sounds like you have done such a wonderful job! I am still going to send cards - I promise - but have been very very sick and so no stamping for me! But, I am getting back into the groove!

Your card is awesome. I'm glad that you had fun with the girls last night. It certainly sounds as though Jessie had fun too. Wow! When I went to school (a million years ago) we never did fun things like that. :) I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
