New Years Eve !!

I am uploading  this card from my  batch of TN  cards  didnt get around to posting  this one  and well since I dont have any  new  camera CDs  left, I thought you all wouldnt mind another Holiday card   since its still offically  a Holiday right ?   for this card I used Cranberry crisp CS  with Copper embossing,   copper  CS, and coppper cord & OH BOY does this card shine IRL  from all that embossing. I used the poinsettia  jumbo wheel  with the  matching set called " Happiest of Holidays "I stamped The  flower and the  wheel image and saying   all in versa markThen  used the copper embossing powder , and  that is it!! Looks kinda fancy but oh soo very simple..

SO what are your plans for tonight to bring in the new year ?

Nothing earth moving here  except hubby  has something planned  for the youth group later today .. should be fun!!  well let you all know how that goes .. Guess what hubby did last night ? He was burning  CDs of  his music  for his Dads Ipod  on his laptop and  got to # 25 cd and  the driver is gone , bit the dust,  burned up ... so now what ?? I guess  hubby will be looking for a new driver for his laptop  and see what they are going for ?  I tell ya if it isnt one thing its another  HUH?  I am sooo excited to see everyone at church today .. Hope you all have a safe  New Years Eve  Night  and  I guess this is the time I get to say .... SEE YOU NEXT YEAR Hee! Hee!

The up swing of Spring

  Good morning everyone :

Its sure great to be home  and  back to posting to my blog .. I sure missed  you all and  missed posting  every day .. Todays card I am using the  Polka dots and Paisley  set from Shelli again ..I really love everything about this set ..For this card I used cool Caribbean  with  apricot appeal   with  black  & white CS had to do those  Little doodles again  I also added   a small piece  of dyed cool Caribbean gg ribbon.. I used certainly celery and apricot appeal markers for the flowers . This card is  definitely Spring looking to me  and why not there is still NO snow  yet in Michigan  and its almost   2007  this is soooo weird  for  us Michiganders  usually we have been dumped on a few times by now .. BUT I am not  complaining  just  feels kinda werid KWIM? Have you noticed the days are getting a tad bit longer now YAHOO!  you know what that means  Spring is right around the corner... And that is a GOOD thing YAHOO!

I am getting very excited  that  we will be  heading to the Hope center  again  and looking forward to it, Will be great to see  everyone at church tommorrow  and all my  SS kids .. Its funny how  6 days away seems like forever .. Today I am going to  have LOTS of photos made  for  everyone in TN , and I HAVE to go get more mini discs for my camera today I am totally out now ..I am on my last one and I hate that feeling    . This photo is of all us Girls  when  we opened our present from Jody ..she got  all of us girls  matching red fluffy socks  pretty cute huh? plus she gave us all 3 candles..  starting from left to right is Jody, Michelle , Jessie,Shannon and me ..

  I also had  some fun stampin in TN  showing  Shannon and Scott how to use our Fabulous watercolored pencils ... you know we were having FUN!!   and you know   we had to glitter ..

well I am off to get dinner ready ( Nachos)   we are having my mom over  to show her everything we got into  down in TN and everything we got for Christmas ..

I'M BACK!!!! we got home about 1 hour ago and everything is unpacked, at least for hubby and I .. daughter is still unpacking .. Man thats a LONGGGGGGG drive .. and Boy do I have laundry to do tommorrow I will be back in the swing of things here in the next day or so .. so hang in there .. I had to post this card even though Christmas is over we still have New years 2007 coming up right ??

Good morning everyone .. Sad news we were not able to see the lights last night since we got so much rain all day yesterday we were not able to go down the roads without the fear of getting stuck in the mud.. so tonight is gonna be the night "Hopefully " its been dry this morning and I know this because we have been up since 4:15am this morning because Me and Aunt Michelle ( My sister in law) , Jessie and Uncle Mark ( My Brother in law) all went and hit the after christmas sales .. yahoo got lots of goodies ..Now I just have to haul it back home .. so much for leaving with less than what I came here with ..
Todays card is using that surprise gift from Shelli Poka Dots and Paisley.. Lovin this set . I also got to use the new designer paper from the new winter mini and also my mega giga circle scallop punch

One thing I have learned the older I get is that the anticpation of Christmas is what is sooo WONDERFUL !! Because
Christmas day its all over in 5 mins .. why is that??
Hope you got all you wished for and more,now we can
start preparing for next year .. We will be pulling out on Thursday
morning to start our drive home .. YIPPY 11 hours ..

Merry Christmas  everyone   .. Yahoo! Guess what I am using???? My hubby  laptop,   With my sister in laws  connection  so I guess I will be  able to  post  the rest of the week YAHOO!!
So what do you think about  this card I posted today?  It is all an illusion. What your seeing is the reflection from the Cd I had laying on the table when I took this photo.. I  thought it was sooo cool  when I was taking this photo and this slight rainbow showed up so I kept it  and wanted to post it on Chistmas  Day.. I used  my New Merry stamp set for the snowfalkes and the  Merry Christmas  from  the " Mini  Merry Messages ", I also added the tiny purple dots to  the edges  with  my purple Stickles.
I  am going to do a haircut  today  and later this evening we are going to see  some Christmas lights.. We  all want to see  the lights on the house that  when you drive up you must tune your  car radio o a certain   station to see  the  lights dancing to the music  WOW Talk about amazing.. excited  about seeing that ..

Merry Christmas everyone .. We are doing the BIG celebration today wait until you see the photos when I get back you all will be amazed ... This card I used the new set Shelli sent all us demonstrators Called Poka Dots & Paisley.. I Love it .. I also love the way this card turned out I used black with certainly celery CS with black and celery GG ribbon and of course my trusty ole' white gel pen .. Love the way the white gel pen accents jump out at you, I also also added a few tiny black dots with my stampin'Up! marker. I cut a 1" off the end of the basic size card and then put a strip of certainly celery CS to bring it all together .. Hope you all are enjoying your Christmas .. and remember TO Finds the JOY in the little things .. enjoy your family , and remember the Reason for the Season is JESUS!!!

Ok I have some good news and some bad news .. What do you want 1st...Good news ya say ? Okey dokey Good news is we made it here in TN YAHOO! and I am uploading to my blog YIPPY! .. Now for the bad news .. Where we are staying ~ Jody ~doesn't have her computer any longer... Boo Hoo .. So I am using my Sister-In-Laws ~ Michelle ~ computer .. which she lives about 10 mins from where we are staying . so I am not sure how offten I will be updating my blog while I am here .. I do know I will be updating late tommorrow also since we are coming over  tommorrow afternoon to celebrate Christmas Eve .. sooo Just stay tuned everyone ..

Todays card I cased from Kimberly Hands on SCS I seen this super cute card and also had to make one of my own . I hand drew the spray  doo dad  thing a ma bopper between the turtle and the whale I use cool carribean , whisper white, black CS and used the reinkers with my aqua painter to color in images and of course added dazzling diamonds ( No card is complete until you had the sparkle Hee! Hee! .. )
Tommorrow I will be uploading a sample I made with the new surprise gift from Shelli ..I really hope you all recieved yours by then if not, you may want to skip my posting tommorrow. Hee! Hee! so it doesnt  spoil your surprise ..
Hard to believe it is 50 degrees 2 days before Christmas and NO snow .. Gotta love that .. At least I do

Good Morning :
I had to use my moms new set "Stay tuned " I really like the way we can use the TV for really anything for the screen area .. and of course I had to stamp "Stay Tuned " in Lavender lace The card base I used Going Gray with the CrossHatch BG stamp in Going gray also I then took my white gel pen and highlighted a few of the lines ..( I love our white gel pen ) everything else I used Black .. Black Ink, Black Cs and Black vintage brads OH I also added a touch of Dazzling diamonds to the TV sides .. then I used the silver ziggy pen and made the centers of the tv Knobs and the tips of the antenna.I then finished up with my Dauber with Going gray around the edges and the Black SU! marker I added tiny dots around the whisper white mat .. I also added Black gingham ribbon to bring it all together .. Not to sure why I added the stay tuned in Lavender lace .. maybe just for a splash of tiny color .. I really .like the way it turned out ..
Well today is the day .. everythings wrapped and packed and ready to go .. If you dont see an update on my blog by Sunday you will know I ran into some techniqal diffculties .. so keep your fingers crossed and pray for safe travel .. Have a Wonderful Christmas

Ok here we go again everyone .. please let me know how this post looks.This super cute Froggie was cased from Penny Hall on the SU! Web site .. This froggie was made by using our Fabulous punches ( The lg Oval, Horizontal slot, 3/4 circle, and 1/2 circle punch I also used the coluzzle for his body ) pretty stinkin cute HUH? .. I put my froggie on to Cool Carribbean CS with a strip of Cho chip & apricot appeal I then stamped the saying in Black and then swirled the cool Carribbean ink with a dauber over top of the saying , Then used my white gel pen and added stitch marks and also the white dots for the center of his eyes , OH yea I also used the cheesecloth background stamp for the top 1/2 of the card in cool carribean ink also ..

Today I will be finishing up my packing and when hubby gets home we are going to clean his truck inside & out for the trip ..
Still Unbelieveable that it is offically WINTER today and we are still in the mid to high 40's and still NO snow ..YAHOO! which suits me just fine ... Yesterday was the shortest day of the year for daylight and I seen that was very true .. Cause at 5:15pm yesterday it was dark outside , But the Great news is we are on the up swing of winter and today is the 1st day we start gaining more daylight . YIPPY!! Gotta Love that ..
Jessie said everyone loved their goodies yesterday .. and Hubby took in the last of the snowman/reindeer poop into work today to give out .. and get this ..HE asked if there were any left for him to hand out ? funny huh?
I am going to try & to stamp today also ..

Today is my  daughters last day of school, tommorrow  starts her Christmas Break  until Jan 3rd ( my moms Birthday ) . She has  a  class party  scheduled  for the last 1/2 of the  school day today , So Yesterday I made up these bags  with  the  baby santa candy wrappers  and a Snowman poop/ Reindeer poop inside .. I just used white  paper bags and used  the STAR STUDDED wheel on them and folded the top down and wheeled that part also  added a strip of Ballet bue CS and stamped Merry Christmas from the  "Many Merry Messages " stamp set , Then added a tag  with lt blue gingham ribbon .. super easy and quick.. these will be given to her  classmates  at their party today .( yes she has only 8 in her class  Thank goodness )   Jessie and 2 of her  good friends are doing a personal  gift exchange and  she got them  each a  magnet neckless ( Plus I threw in a mouse candy cane holder  for each of them ) ..Have you ever seen them before ? ( the neckless that is ) They are sooo cool  so many things you  can do with these... Wear as a neckless , Bracelet,  around ankle, around waist  they are really cool, No closure Just all magnets ..

Today I must  TRY to start packing some things ,  I  need  to do maybe 1 more load of Laundry then start gathering everything .. ( Dont want to forget something  KWIM?)  so what do you think of the  photo post today .. Its a test run .. What I did is I added a photo album of   things I can  try and upload  to my blog while in TN .. Got a bunch of things in there  Just for me  to use  so you all will have to stay tuned to see if It works ..YUP I was a stampin Fool yesterday .. making things especially for when I am in TN  so I can still post to my blog ( Crossing fingers  it all works Cause I will be the one going through Withdraws  from Posting ) .. Now we just wait and see if it really works .. In my photo album I just click on photo  and  then right click then paste it into my  blog posting .. Not to sure  how much  bandwidth this way uses  But I guess I am about to find out .. I know the photos are Much larger for some Reason ..?? Not to sure why that is .. But if it lets me post the next week   from another computer  than that would be SO GREAT!!  I know I will not be able to access my Comcast email account  so I will be switching my email link  on my blog to my Yahoo account  so I can still read your comments/ emails.. ( HOPEFULLY)   But for some reason If I am not able to  get back to you Please dont think I am  being rude and  ignoring you  it  would be due to I am not able to  reply . Okey dokey ....

Yesterday I  talked with Bro Bishop ( He is the man that runs the HOPE center in Detroit  for the homeless... We  are  all heading back down  for  another  vist on New Years eve  night ..I am sooo excited )  anywho .. I  have been praying about something and I had to  finally  call Bro Bishop  and ask what he thought  about my Brain storm  of an idea .. good thing I asked Because it doesnt look like   it will come to pass  this time around  since its new Years eve  and  not enough time .. ( we will be there for only 2-3  hours this time  because  the hope center has  something else going on  with a church service there  and  we only have until 6pm  New years eve  so  the people can have enough time to get to the  shelters to sleep ) BUT Bro Bishop and I will be praying about it coming to pass in the near future.. What I wanted to do  is  give haircuts to the homeless.. Not to sure  how this would all be done But I  have been praying about this for about 3 weeks now .. I know how I feel after I get my haircut .. I just thought it may lift their spirits  also .. Who Knows it may  help change someones life  ( Thats the HOPE) I know  whats a silly Haircut ?.. But  Lord Knows we take so many things for granted  and who knows how long   it has been since they have had a haircut ..   Everyone is Human, We all  feel the same right ? and if a Haircut gives  someone  a boost  isnt that  worth it all ..  SOOO Bro Bishop and myself  and  maybe YOU can be praying that this  comes to pass in the near future   What a blessing  that would be for  everyone ..

I thought I would post  again tonight only because I am running out of days  to post everything I have been receiving in my mail box  before we leave for TN on Friday .. Thank you to  all you my Blogger  and Stampin' friends,  Words can not express the happiness I  feel  all over when I see  a handmade card   sitting in my mail box waiting to be opened YAHOO!  ..  You all are SUPER DEE DUPER  FAB-O stampers~ as you all can see below  WOWZIE!!! ..  and I thank you  from the bottom of my heart !!   I am going to upload  everything I have been receiving from last week ..  OH my  you all have been busy stampers too I see ..  I thought it would be  fun and idea provoking   if you all are one of those last  minute Christmas card / project makers  and  still need a few ideas  for those last minute goodies .. here are some Great  ideas  to help get those creative juices flowing ...

1st customer !

Good morning  everyone .. Here are the  last  of my ATC swaps .I hope your enjoying them as much as I am. I  finally recieved my BIG order last night around 6 :30pm ..My UPS man must make  it a point to put me last on his List ERRR this bugs me ..  I have at one point asked him if I would be one of his early drop offs But guess he forgot .. But  Hey  enough about my slow poke UPS man.

Guess what happened to me yesterday ?? you will NEVER in a million years guess .. Hee! Hee!  Remember I told you I had to mail out my last package  yesterday Well I also needed a BIG box to put all the presents into to be mailed, I drop daughter off at school and  then my next stop was the post office  which opens up at 8:30am  I was early so I thought I would  be able to get  IN and Out in NO time .. well that changed when I drove up and the .line was out the door  just from people  waiting until they opened .. I remembered back about  3 weeks  ago My post office ladies ( Cheryl , Kathy, Mary ..Yes I know them well  Hee! Hee! )  Kathy is actually one of my glitter queens  YAHOO Kathy .. ok anyway I remembered they told me that  they were excited about a new Fed/Ex~ Kinkos store  opening up  across the street and that this would  lighten the load for them  at the post office durning the holiday rush  .. So I thought I probably would pay a tad bit more But it was going to be worth it if I didnt have to stand in line so... I left the post office  and went to  see the new place acoss the street .. Hey I loved it right when I drove up not only is there  PURPLE everywhere  BUT they were already Open and guess what NO LINE YIPPY!!  well I park the car and  grab  the presents I was sending and walk in the door I was greeted by the nicest man and woman  and they said CONGRAULATIONS !!! YOUR THE 1ST CUSTOMER .. I was really thinking 1st customer of the day right ? BUT NOOOOOOOO I was their 1st customer ever at their new store   on their  1st day of their Grand opening .. NO way I yelled out did I win a MILLION dollars  the man laughed and said No sorry .. so as me and this woman were  trying to pick out  the right box ( which by the way they did everything packaged it , stuffed it with brown paper ( just like SU! does  with their packages )  and then  sealed all up for me  all I had to do Is fill out the mailing form YAHOO! gonna love that .. I was really expecting to pay a ton more for service like that  and NO lines .. But get this for over  a  9 lb package  it was ONLY 15.00   and 3 days  to get to Maine  .. while I was filling out the form  the man handed me a  bag of goodies  and asked me if I had a home computer or a laptop ?   I said I had BOTH  and then he said well then I will give you both goodies .. what was inside  this bag of goodies I won for being the 1st ever customer ?   a wireless mouse( Hubby)   ,  thumb drive Daughter  for school) ,  coupons , scratch off ticket for a % off ,  a writing pen, tape,  mints,  ruler, highlighter.. YAHOO you would have though he did give me a million dollars Hee! Hee!  I of course couldnt wait to call hubby   and tell him what all happened .. what a HOOT!!  Wait until you see all the Beautiful  Chistmas cards I recieved yesterday ..  O put all my hand made ones only on my front door   this way everyone can see them 1st .. I will  post them hopefully tommorrow  since I may have over did it with my  smileys and  everything else today .. ( I love my smileys dont you I just   dont use them  enough only because it takes alot of space on my bandwidth ..)  anyway ..

Today I am going to try something  to see if I can  do it while I am in TN  and maybe if it works I may be able to post  to my blog  while in TN  BUT I will have to see if what I am thinking really will work .. and then  also I will be out making deliveries  this morning  to all my gals and THEN maybe stamp some  goodies ..I do have to make a few more Birthday cards .

Yesterday was my  bestest friend Dianes  birthday  she turned 43  yesterday and I totally forgot to mail out her card ( which her card is going out today ) but  I called her last night   and chatted with her for over an  hour OH MY  we sure can talk .. Then I cut out 3 stamp sets I got yesterday  gonna use them  hopefully today ..

Here are just  a  handful of the ATC  swaps I recieved .. I will post the others tommorrow.. I plan on using these  by just adding them to a full card base . all the swaps are Fabulous!! It really is amazing That   you can get so much on a  small small  ATC( Artist Trading card )

Today I will be mailing out the last of my Christmas gifts ..I pray they arrive  before Chrismas .. I really hope I havent waited  to long to mail them out .. and then its a cleaning day for me  and my home ..  and also a little grocrey shopping .. other than that I will be"paitently" waiting for my  club order to arrive ..Its gonna be a huge Order  with 3  BIG boxes YAHOO !! I did take advantage of the  1/2 off  promotion from SU! this month . I will be getting  "MERRY" I have seen so many  samples using this set I just love that hat and the  snowflakes in this set .. So hopefully The order comes early and I  can get all the deliveries out and still have some time to stamp later  tonight  Crossing my fingers ..

What a GREAT day !!

I made this card from the  delight in life stamp set .. ( I am really lovin this set,  It's reminding me alot of  the S-A-B set we had last year I'm drawing a blank on that sets name at this moment ,  but anywho.) You may have  a problem seeing the  flower embossed background ..I tried to take  a photo of  it where it would show up better and this is the best I got..  anyway I used cool caribbean as the base  with Orchild opluence , and  stamped the  flowers on whisper white and colored them in with reinkers and my aqua painter  then cut them out .. I also had cut out a few flowers  for masking remember that ? anyway I laid one of the flowers down on the light table and laid my CS over top of the flower and dry embossed  around the flower.. I then took my dauber  and  swirled the cool carribbean  ink  all around  the flowered  background ..I used the black marker again for those tiny  doodle dots and  add  some black gg ribbon  to the edge of the flower mat..since I am done with my Christmas cards it seems I have been  into flowers the last few days ..

YESTERDAY! What a great day we all  had .. and Boy my mom  put on the spred of food ...  ( Also a BIG thank you to my  "Bestest" Cousin  Ruthie .. she made  her famous sweet potatoes  for us.. I will share her reciepe for them later this week  you will LOVE them ) left overs today after church ~ YUMM-O.. we all opened our presents  and daughter made out like a bandit  again this year .. she mainly is into clothes,  jewerly and of course make-up  So that about covers everything she got .. We got mom a few things from The  Pampered chef  the measureing spoons and cups  she loved mine and  well when she dropped the hint she loved mine I knew exactly what to get her .. she also got  some clothes  and  perfume,, Hubby  got clothes , hat etc.. I got clothes, earings, perfume

But Rich and I  what  we got together is TIVO  OH my word .. How many of you have this fancy  dancy  machine?.. OH MY  we are already lovin it ..  we got home  last night and he started  hookin it all up  .. talk about a MESS! and then once he got everything hooked up  we realized we needed a phone line  next to  unit  and guess what our Phone line is on the other side of the  room of course .. Good thing I know a really great Electrian  Hee! Hee! ( my hubby )  so the next 30 mins were spent  putting in a Brand new phone jack  started from the basement and worked  up to living room  OH my   remember MY hubby  can do anything  right? .. well he did it again ,  He put his wifey  is utter amazement we then   set up our account  with TIVO online   we ended  up doing the 3 year contract  because we paid   the 2 year contract price  but got a extra year for free !!  ( if you add up the price for  the monthly  fee it was going to save us close to 150.00 if we did the  annual membership  so thats what we did...) Yahoo !!  TIVO is sooo easy to set up  and we are sooo amazed at what this little thing can do ..  we all looked at each other with  astonishment  ..  then once everything was set up  Hubby had fun  rewinding the  TV shows we were watching .. talk avbout weird. We are soo lovin this  TIVO! cant wait for LOST to return in Feburary.  and did I say the picture on my TV is sooo stinkin clear  OH yes ..  its one of those  "Best things we ever got "  and dont know why it took so long for us to get one ..

we all went and seen the pursuit of Happyness .. wow Great movie  .. I love Will smith and love every movie he is in .. I really loved him in Independance  day !! He rocked in that movie too...  and of course he didnt let me down with his new movie ... Yes I cried ..( boy i am such a sap HUH?)  but even though hubby wouldnt admit it He was a  little chocked up too especially at the end  OH MY  what a  Great movie ..

Yesterday was a Great Mail day also ...YAHOO.. GUESS what I got ?? Not only did I get my ATC swaps  from Jen on SCS ( I will post those in the upcoming days  to share with you all these FAB-O swaps I got ) BUT I also recieved so many Christmas cards  from  a few of you  my blogger friends  and also   from my stampin queens ( will be sharing these also  with you all soon )   .. but it doesnt stop there I got my   Surprise gift from Shellie  Gardner  at SU!  I wont  say what it is on here , But if you want to know  drop me a  comment with your email address & I will share .. I dont want to ruin the surprise for all those  that want to wait like I did..  BUT, I will say its FAB-O  and what a nice note Shelli  wrote to us .. she is sooo wonderful. I will be using this surprise   very very soon ..  sooo stay tuned ..

Just DeLightful~~

  I made this card for someone I have never  met or even talked to .. Funny how God puts something on your heart .. well One of my  yahoo groups friend KIM  has a friend whos MOM died in a car accident a few days ago   she died at the sceen of the accident .. and what makes this even worse( Like thats not bad enough right ?)   is that this young man  lost his Dad  3 years ago  right before Christmas also ..  Maybe this is a tender spot for me  since I  loss my dad  3 years ago also ( Boy I miss my dad ).I  know  things in our life  happen but have you ever stopped and really thought about  maybe  certain things happen  so you can be a blessing to someone else  when the same thing happens to  them .. Call me weird I know .. But have you ever heard that saying .. NO ONE KNOWS  WHAT IT FEELS LIKE WHEN MY FINGER HURTS~ OR  YOU DONT UNDERSTAND  AND UNTIL YOU WALK A DAY IN MY SHOES ? The funny  Thing is  just letting  them know  its going to be alright   you know put your arm around them  can REALLY help  someone .. I know!!

For this card I used Barely Bananna , perfect plum and sage shadow Cardstock and my  retired deco scissors from SU!  I used the delight in life  S-A-B set   along with clear embossing for all the images in this card .. very soft looking and love the way it glisens .. I then added  a touch of dazzling diamonds to the center of the flowers .

Today we are  going to be  celebrating  Christmas   with my mom ..  It really doesnt feel like Christmas .. NO snow. No Christmas tree, and well Maybe  its because  its really NOT Christmas  Day  DUH...  We should celebrate Christmas every Day anyway  right ?   we are also planning on  going to the show today  some time  early this afternoon  while the turkey is cookin.. All 4 of us are going to go see ."The pursuit of HAPPYness "  see clip   Got a feeling its gonna be another  good cry for me  like  yesterday.. what happened yesterday??

Well   Yesterday My mom, Daughter and Daughters friend Courtney and myself went and seen Charlottes Web click here to view ..  ~ HINT... when you  click on the link  look on the far right of sreen and click on MENU  then  click on VIDEO   this is a great clip of the movie ~ ...OH my how quickly I forgot the meaning of this  wonderful story ..  I feel in love with it all over again  and  yes call me Sappy But I  cried at this movie too.. It really had me thinking about  people  that cross our path and Do we judge  them by the way they look ?  You know judge a book by its cover so to speak ?  And Boy  I know we can change the world with KIND. Loving words to one another.. You see Charlotte was a spider  that lived in a barn  with all these other aminals  & Not one of the animals  took the time to know Charlotte cause she was scary looking  But it took a PIG to  come to the barn and  have a kind , cheerful , happy heart all  wilbur wanted was a friend .. those in the barn  didnt  want to take the time to be a friend to wilbur either  ( old and set in their ways I suppose )  ONE day wilbur  meet Charlotte and became friends  right away  The story is about  Wilbur  getting to see the winter snow and not becoming The  Christmas dinner and  along the way Charlotte  starts spinning a web with  words  about Wilbur. people came from   miles away  to see this web  that a spider  could spell and a pig  that was " some pig"   This Movie  is awesome  and I highly recommend  you going to see it . The pig is sooo stinkin cute  as are all the animals . funny  with this movie  I could almost place a name of someone I know  for each of the animal parts .. for instance  the RAT  Boy was he  self centered, always thinking of himself,  you know anyone with the ME! ME! ME! Diesese, Then the cows  do you know people like  them that like to  sit around and talk about  people  Nothing really positive to say ?  Well  they all change when this tiny pig enters the barn  and you think How in the world can a pig and a spider change  all that ? FRIENDSHIP, LOVE,  PROMISES KEPT, POSITIVE, UPLIFTING,  ALWAYS THERE , ENCOURAGING &  FUN!!  Thats how we  can change the world too ..

This is my Christmas card I mailed out .. I used my tiny  Karen Foster snap stamps for our names .. I have posted this card awhile ago ..I loved the way its so simple .so I made  a ton more  and just added  our names  to the snowman famiy ,  But I ran into a snag .. I ran out of whisper white..( OH the horror I know Huh?)  so the last handful of cards I  cut the whisper white into 1/4 's and then  layered on bashful blue .. I also dry embossed the circle around the snowmens faces  with the 1 1/4 circle punch  then  swirled  bashful blue around  to highlight their faces .. The longest part to making these cards were 1st finding all our names in those tiny alphabets  from Karen foster .. But after that it was soo easy  and quick..

Yesterday I had a  blessing  happen to me .. Daughter and I were finishing up her  shopping  for Christmas gifts and  as we were leaving My cell ph must have fell out of my purse  without me knowing it had .. once I got home my mom called  and asked me to look  for my phone to see if I was missing  it .. sure enough It was Gone . My mom then  proceeded  to tell me a woman  named Nancy called my mom   from my cell ph directory  and told her she had my ph  and she then gave my mom her  home # and   Nancy  told her she wanted me to call her in a 1/2 hour . WOWZIE I  1st went and made her a  little  bag of goodies up to give her for her kindness  I  then called  her But no answer .. she then called me and I met up with her at her home  and she gave me  my ph back  Praise God!! I gave her a couple things I had left from my craft show  stash  she invited me in to her beautiful home  and  she opened her gift/s  she ooo and aaahh over everything and then I hugged her  Thank God there are people  still in this world  that are kind , and thoughtful & Honest .. What a sweet woman .. She then  told me  she knew how It would feel if it were her cell ph ... Very Thankful  for  Nancy !!

My moms eye surgery went great yesterday .. Thank you all for your prayers  and  sweet comments yesterday ..This morning  I will be taking her to see the  eye doc for her follow-up ..  Jessie doesnt have school today . She   took part of a senior high  auction  at school and pitched in  a couple bucks for the principal  .. get this  anyone that  gave  a doller to go towards the principal   would get a day off of school .. so thats why she is off today ..

Last night I finished up wrapping  Christmas  gifts.. YAHOO thats done .. well actually I have 2 sweaters for my daughter  to wrap but everything else is Done!!  We will be celebrating Christmas with my mom tommorrow  kind weird  since we have no snow  here in Michigan  and its NOT really Christmas Day . But next week we are leaving for TN  for  Christmas and  tommorrow is  the only  really good day to  celebrate   our Christmas with my mom ..

P.S I was told by my daughter  a couple days ago that her class wants me to do a stampin fundraiser for her  class in March sometime .. I am excited  about this  and I am leaning towards doing a stamp-a-stack with her class  also providing a dinner for this event  , All   fees will be donated to my daughters class for their 2010  senior trip  I will open this up to anyone and everyone that wants to come  and take part of this event  at my daughters school  If intested Please  email me * the link is right under my photo on the left hand side*  and I will put you on  the list for future updates  when this  event  gets more details of costs, date, and times  ..

Christmas cards !!

I thought I would post a couple more cards I have recieved   Thank you Aimee and Laura  for your  beautiful Christmas cards ..  each one sooo sparkly .. Gotta love that  right ?  This morning I am off to take my mom to  get her other eye done .. OH BOY! last night I wasnt stampin I was cleaning my stampin room  Yikes it was Bad But no worries I seem to be making head way ..  also  I postponed the perm from yesterday  I will be doing that  this afternoon .. yesterday  Me and My Mom went on a date .. We  went and seen " The Navitiy Story "  You all must go see this movie  it was soo beautiful .. and of course take your kleenex with you if your anything like me and my mom .. It really puts things in perspective.  One thing I was really amused by was the 3 wise men  and how they  were trying to talk themselves out of  following the STAR. It was such a LONG journey and  really  when you stop and think about it  arent we all on a Journey .. Some give up , some  talk themselfs out of  going toward.. BUT then there are the ones that keep on keepin on .... This movie was GREAT!! and I am sure  this movie was really only a  tiny glimpse at what  each of them went through...

12 Days until Christmas !!

I was asked by my friend Linda if I would make her  1 Christmas card  for the church  community board   and  her only request  she had was that it had glitter ( a gal after my own heart I say )   Here is the 1 card I made for her . I have seen the snowmen family cards  on SCS and  when I was thinking of a card I could make for her  and her family those cards poped into my  head .. so here it is  Lindas  Chritsmas card  of her family  Steve & Linda , then their childern~ Andrew, Dusty, Whitney, and Ben  Its a good thing they didnt have any more kids  because  they would not  fit  on this card .. Of course I had to give Linda and her  girls pink bows  cause pink is Lindas favorite color and also gave the girls pink rosey cheeks with a pencil eraser in Pretty in pink .. and the snowflake designer paper from Holiday tyme  pack  is all glittered  The Merry Christmas is   from the  Many Merry Messages  stamp set /

Tommorrow  my Mom will be getting her other eye done   she needs to be at  the clinc at 7:00am  and her surgery will be at 8:05am  she is looking forward to getting that other eye done.. Today if my hands start to feel better I will be  giving  a perm  to  Shirley  who lives down the street  from me . Jessie got her Spirit  week program Yesterday and  It seems  Homecoming this year will be  the week after Christmas vacation .. Man if it isnt one thing its another  huh?  always something  going on .. Got all my Christmas cards ready to be put into the boxes at church  YAHOO! Whew~ thats done .. Now just have to finish up those family  and  friends ones ..

Christmas is in the air...

Yesterday  after making MORE Christmas cards  Daughter got the stamping bug yesterday also  which  happens  every once in a while  and  Guess what???

She wanted  to case my "Like NO Udder " card OH my she did such fun cards  she wrapped them up for her grandma for Christmas,But not until Igot a photo of them .  She picked a few of the images  out of the Very Punny set and went to town. I just love the way hers turned out too...  we had a good laugh over how cute these sayings are .. I laughed so hard when we were  saying the "like No Udder" she added  Mudder  we both got a chuckle out of that and then we both kept saying it .. ( guess  you had to be there )

Once hubby  got home from work yesterday we all were  wanting to do some  Christmas shopping...  YUP Just started that yesterday  see what making Christmas cards can do ... gets you right in the spirit of  Christmas  thats for sure .. We headed to the  Mall  figured we could cover lots of ground in one place  and Boy was I right ..  Not only did we get 90% of our gift giving  goodies  done but look what else happened .  YUP Jessie got her  2nd hole in her ear last night .. she was the one that mentioned it and  well I was the one holding her hand  while  she was getting them  done . Good ole' dad  had to leave.. Hummmm  I guess  dads dont like to see their  daughters  go through that stuff .. Who knows ..

she loves them and is so excited she got them done .. so needless to say  this was part of her Christmas from  us.

( sorry for the huge Photo I resized it twice and it still is showng up like this HUGE ear  Hee! Hee!  anywho we also went through the exhibit they had set up for Santa  and It  was centered around the movie "Happy feet"  NO I didnt get my photo taken with Santa  But  we all went through the  HUGE snowglobe that was fun .. Once we got  back home ...I started wrapping all the gifts  Thats really the fun part  seeing everything we got everyone .. Laughing at what we got  His dad and  thinking  about what everyone will think of their gifts .  I am sooo glad I write past years gifts we give out to everyone .. This helps so That I dont Re-Give something I gave them  once before.. Its a nice refresher  for my memory .. I just started doing this like 3 years  ago  It just takes an extra minute  to jot down everyones name and  then list what  they will be recieving  from us ..I list everyone  even  what we got each other ..

Whew thank  goodness for last years list and How quickly I forget what we gave everyone

Today will be another Christmas card making day ... I will post  the card I am making for everyone in the next couple days  since I want it to be a surprise to those who will be recieving  it ..I will share this little tid bit on The card I am making ... It has been shared on my blog already  BUT I added a twist .. and of course I didnt  start adding the little extra until I had made over 1/2 the reg way .. so those of you that get the  card with out the added   images  dont think I dont love you .. It was just  that I thought of it to late  to add it to yours (  those without the extra images  were  sent out  in yesterday morning  mail and I didnt get this Brain storm of  an ideas  until well past noon  yesterday... ( I had one of those "What was I thinking " moments again , Cause Now I wish I could have added  the litte extra do-didies on them all before I mailed them~ sorry )

We finally got Jessie pleated Kilt  skirt for  school we ordered this thing over 8 weeks ago  and well it has finally  arrived .. Thank goodness .. she is so excited to wear it today .. Not that she didnt have her  kilt skirt from last years uniform   BUT this year  the school  changed  the  school uniform company  and also picked a new Kilt  .. She loves the new one cause of all the extra  pleads in the back    But we thought we were going to be smart and wait until after school started back up and  get her  a new skirt then ( its always so busy   right before school starts  to get in there and  get uniforms )  well it was NOT Busy thats for sure, BUT ( you  knew  that BUT was coming HUH?)  everything was picked over in her size soo that ment we had to order it .. which normally takes  tops 2 weeks   well that was back in the beginning of Oct  and  we just got it .. BUT now that  we got it  and it fits .. Jessie is very excited .. so Today new Skirt  and New  double pierced  ears  what more can a girl ask for Hee! Hee!

A few of you  have mentioned  that you have already started recieving your  goodies you bought from my Craft show ..Thank you so Much !! Just a note I have NO more chefs left as of late last night  Holly emiled me for  my last one ..

Here is  another Brand new 2007 Sell-a-Bration set . For this  simple card I used lavender lace and sage shadow with whisper white & Black  I also used  my  Color s pritzer  tool on the sage shadow strip  Then I added  Black gg ribbon  and distressed the edge   of the sage shadow  with my  distressing tool / cutter kit .. I really love these sayings in this set, sooo curvy  and  delicate  looking ..  At 1st I wasnt to keen on the flower in this set .But its growing on me.. It was those saying  that made me want this set ..( Can never have enough of those IMHO!)

Doesnt look like we will be heading out on Hospital vistation  this morning BUT may go see  and take lunch  to   a couple that are home bound.... Our Play went very good  last night   Now this Next Sunday is the  Teens  Christmas play ..

This week I am going to try and get ALL my Chritsmas cards done  and mailed out .. I have   way over 300  to get out so this may take me all week  I was thinking I may do what a few have decided to do and put up 1 Card  on the church  community board  and be done with it .. BUT  Its looking like I will  NOT do this .. maybe cause it seems  so  Non  personal I dont know .. Maybe  I will  be  telling myself   when I signed my 200th card   that Maybe that board might be  a  great idea by then  Hee! Hee! But as of right now  I plan to give them ALL out   One GREAT idea at our church  is that we have a Mail box  for all our Christmas cards we give out,  Just slide the card in the box TADA  thats done !! Each  person checks their box  whenever and  Its FREE  delivery  Hee! Hee!  No postage  needed Cause I deliver them.. Hee! Hee!  SO hopefully I will have all my Church family  Christmas cards all ready by Wednesday night to put in the boxes .. Very Thankful I  did the Christmas challenge  where we made at least 10 cards a month  I did end up with 110 done PLUS those that I made for  my Craft  show  that didnt sell ..I got close to 100 of those  so Just about 150 more to  still make.. Thats much better  than starting with NOTHING  done right ?  I need VERY VERY simple  card to make  where I can make 150  of them like TODAY!! then spend the rest of the week signing & sealing   them ..I may just  use my  stamp I had made a couple years back that says

LOVE Rich, Dawn & Jessica  then  I wont have to worry about writters cramp  Hee! Hee!

Delight ...

Here is another one of those simple  whisper white cards with NO layers .. I used  my reinkers  ( cool carribbean, and marigold morning )  along with my aqua painter to color the images in.  I love how vibrant the colors are when using the reinkers .. Just squeeze a couple drops of reinkers into the lid of your  ink pad and  using your aqua painter or your blender pen  you can just pick the color up from the lid . For this card I used the new sell-a-bration set  called" Delight in life ". I also made a mask for the flower and stamped the background ( making a  mask is simple )

Use a scrap piece of cs and stamp image  then cut out .. this image will then be laid on top of the  card image so I can stamp right on top of it  without  interferring  with the  card image .. I keep all my masks  in the stamp set  so just in case I may want to  do the masking thing again in the near future. Here is another discription of MASKING if your interested .

Last nights club meeting was fun .. lots of laughs as usual.  We had the 6 of us there... What more could anyone want   friends,  Food ,Stamping  and a warm buliding  YAHOO!   Yes  Warm buliding is the  word   these past few days .. I am just  SO thankful we have not got dumped on with snow like many of you have already .. I really    think the snow is pretty But when you have a bad knee going on in that snow is NO fun!!

My hubby  bought me a pair of clippers  Hee! Hee! ( at least thats what I call them )    a few years ago ..They are actually called GET-A-GRIP (advanced)   they cost under 20.00 bucks  on  that site I listed   above and I cant tell you how great these  grips really are. I wear the medium  size and I wear  a shoe size of 8.5 .. these grips stretch  right over my shoes .. and I have had mine like I said for over  3 years now and I havent replaced the grips yet .. But this site also sells the replacements for those also .. YAHOO! I can go out in the  snow and ice with the comfort of not feeling like I will slip and fall ..  and falling for me would not be good  since one of my left knee no longer bends  ( I have lost 30% mobility in my left knee ) Have you heard the saying .. I'm falling and I cant get up? ..   Thats me NO kidding .  These grips are so easy to put on  and I can wear them  with  my tennis shoes ( which I am in 24/7.. Gotta love tennis shoes ..  I just wouldnt wear them on  certain  flooring  since the  grips on the bottom  do leave tiny hole marks  ( my front wood  porch  is living  proof  )

Well I am off to  get around for church this morning  . the the whole month of Dec our lesson  for Sunday school is focused on Jesus Birth .. ( The REAL reason of CHRISTMAS )  Today our lesson  tells us about the angels  who spoke to Mary and Joseph.. Hey have  you seen THE Nativity Story yet ?  Me and my mom will be seeing this movie  maybe this upcoming week ( cant wait ) hubby and  daughter went and seen it with the youth group and I didnt go  since I was getting things ready for my craft show .. anywho .. I really  really want to see it ..  hubby and daughter said its  great!! Really makes you think of all they went through  ( and I am sure it wasnt even 1/2 of  ALL they went through Kinda like the "Passion of the Christ " just gave a glimpse of what  happened  to Jesus ..  Loved that Movie, anyway I cant wait to see The Nativity  Story.

Looking forward to  the play tonight at church  with the little ones .. My big part is directing the kids when to go on stage ..YAHOO! I can handle that  right ?  We have our last pratice today after church  at 2:00pm  and  will be there  until  service starts again at  6:00pm

Oh well I still think it turned out very  cute..  This was one of those very simple cards  using just whisper white CS   with NO layers Gotta love that .. and  You gotta love our new sell-a-bration sets which this " Like no Udder" card I used  VERY PUNNY set from  our new sell-a-bration stamp sets  I love them all .. For my Very PUNYY stamp set I cut the  saying and put them on the side of the block  so I could use those cute catchy  saying with other stamps  also.. A few of them were pretty close to cut But I did "git R done " Hee! Hee!

Last night Christmas concert was Great  I took a few photos of Jessie playing  the piano But way to blury   But did get a few Great photos of her and her cousins  before the  show began ..

Today I am  going to run to Sams club and get some Cranberry juice ..( Our familys new addiction ) and    we have our Church Christmas play reheasal  at 11:00 today  .. the play is set for   tommorrow  Nights service( childerns program )  and next Sunday night service ( for the youth  program )   Tonight is  my stampers club  and  Jessie has plans with her school  tonight .

Copy cat!

I  made this card for my friend Linda ..  to Many details   to  get into the "WHY "part .. so I will just say I cased this card from the winter mini . BUT I used the  new set from Regionals  for this card    something doodles   .. My mind is drawing  a blank on the name of the set  at this very moment  But I do remember it has doodles in  the name somewhere .. I used  regal rose and bashful blue & whisper white CS  with Celery GG ribbon , I added tiny  bashful blue marker dots on the  bottom part by LOVE YOU  .. so tiny you may not be able to view them in this photo.   I also used my  piericing tool and Mat for making the holes on the top edge of the bashful blue .. Then layered the  flower image on Certainly celery  with a touch of dazzling diamonds  on the  flower dots( of course )  Hee! Hee! . Yesterday I got my  pre order of sell-a-bration sets ..BUT I  havent even  sat to play yet  doesnt help when My UPS man comes at 7:00pm eeerrrrrr I am sure gonna have fun today I tell yas .. Yesterday I did get everything  done for my club meeting Saturday  just have to  get all the little things  together .. I needed to be done by yesterday Because this weekend is going to be flying by  again ..  tonights the Christmas concert,  tommorrows is the  reheasal for our   church  Christmas play , and  my  Stampers club meeting, Jessie has an Merry Mall Madhunt with her school tommorrow night .. Busy  busy I tell ya .. so Much for slowing  down a tad bit..

Hey guess  We demos are getting a FREE gift from Shelli Gardner ( You Know the "SU! queen  bee" )  this year for Christmas HUMMMM wonder if its a Stamp set like the French demos  are getting ???  I did hear we demos will not be getting a Christmas card using a set from next years catalog like in years past.. Either way I am going to try and stay away from  any titles  on SCS  that  spill the beans on what we are getting  and if you  do Know Please do not tell me  I want to be surprised ..YAHOO!!. I can hardly wait to see what it is .. I love surprises ..

slowing down !!

I made this card  really starting out  with NO idea where this would go all I wanted to do is make this type of card and  use these 3 colors  and  well one thing lead into another and  this is the finished card .. I think its really BUSY But I also think a young girl would like it . My white gel pen kept  stopping on me ..Not to sure why  it kept doing that .. But  once I started the swirls   and dots there was no turning back KWIM? CS colors for this card are orchild opluence, Pixie pink. pink passion  cur base card at 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 the next layer is cut at 4 X 8 1/2 score one end at 3 1/4 and the top card is   a 3x3 card ( 3" X 6".. scored at 3" )  I did stamp the image 1st of the raccoon and the balloons and then  I traced a square around this image   with my handy  small ruler    and  when I traced  the lines  to make the square I went below the balloon line So when I cut out the sq I also cut the  tops of the 2 balloons out balloons ..  I also added a small  section on adesive to the 3x3 card to hold it shut  for its photo session Hee! Hee! I also added some purple  stickles  to the dots around the base and  what I must tell you  these glitter bottles called stickles  that are soo popular right now ..I  found  that I had bought mine over 3 years ago  I  found 6 tubs of  these   great  glitter  bottles ( yellow , pink,   white, blue,  purple , teal ) stashed in a drawer of course for safe keeping I suppose .. Its really amazing what you find when you least expect it hidden in the way back of a drawer  HUH?   Here is what this card looks like opened up..

Yesterday at the knee doc I got a steroid  injection I really wanted him to drain my knee too BUT he didnt think there was enough  fluid in there  so we passed on doing that .. Even though My knee surgeon  was  good at giving me this needle in the knee MY R.A Doc is way   better at doing this proceedure..  Hopefully it will start to help  ..   

Yesterday I got some news  that My friend Gina was in the hospital  Yes Stampin Queens  this is our  very own GINA .. She was admited Tuesday  But I found out about it  yesterday ( Thanks Jenny )  anyway Me and My mom  went up to see her after my knee appointment .. They are still running tests to see whats all going on with her .. I did make her a card BUT I didnt have a chance to take a photo of it  before I gave it to her .. We laughed about her  having to get out of the hospital before Saturday Because Saturday is our club meeting Hee! Hee!

Today seems to be shaping up to be a stamping day I really need to get everything ready for my club meeting  this  Saturday night  So I will be doing  that plus maybe   FUN stamping for Birthdays cards I need this month .. At least thats the plan . Last night  we   went through Our Christmas play at church we all arrived 1 hour  early to do a run through  BUT this Saturday  afternoon 11-1 pm we will be doing  the  dress reheseral  and  finding   everyones places on  stage .. also tommorrow night we have my daughters Christmas concert .. she  will be playing the piano and of course singing . The song she will be playing on the piano is called " Winter Sonatina "  We didnt think  she may be playing since  they were wanting to cut  so much out of the  Prelude  But her piano teacher told her yesterday she is staying in the  program for her  piano solo .. YAHOO !  Alot of fun  to see the whole school  appling their gifts  for the Lord ..  Thanks for peeking in today  and  I will see you tommorrow ..

OH by the way  when we leave for vacation  to go see  the in- laws in TN I will not be able to update my blog  for that week .OH NO I know I will go through withdraws . ( unless I can  set up something on here that lets me plan  the postings  1 week Out ..) Does anyone know if we can do this  with the basic package with Typepad ? But apparently  They do  have internet  access in the boonies  Hee! Hee! (If my Father  in-law , Jodi , Michelle & Mark are reading this  they all know  I kid around with them living in the boonies  everything 45 mins  away from them OH my whats a city girl like me to do ? Hee! Hee! Chuckle  Chuckle ) But I wont have access to  my photo  files  to upload  I will have to wait &  see what I can do once we get there ..I just wanted you all to have a heads up  and not  to think I will be  gone  forever ,  even though a week from blogging will feel like forever for me   Hee! Hee!  But  thats not  for another few weeks  sooo until then I will be here daily..

LOOK ma no Tin grins !!

Daughter got her braces off yesterday and it seemed we were in the dentist office  forever   But really only an hour & 1/2  But  it was sure worth the wait to see her Beautiful smile  I had to take some photos of her  cause she was in the " Smiling " Mood Hee! Hee! she said her teeth feel sooo smooth .  She even packed a lunch  with an apple yeterday  and everyone she sits with at Lunch  stopped and  watch her take her 1st bite of the apple .. she said it  was a little  werid  taking that 1st bite  But once the  1st bite was over  that  weird  feeling left .. I of course had to take photos of her  with and without her retainer,

and  then  of course  someone else had to get in the photo  also  and give us a BIG smile too :-)  everytime we have Bowzer give us a smile like this It makes me crack up  with Laughter  Now if only he could really smile like this on his own  that would be  even funnier ..

I was unable to stamp yesterday  ..  But I thought I would post one of my  Christmas cards I made a few  weeks ago  I have made  only 20 of these  and I think If I remember right  I  seen it on SCS I believe  or somewhere that she made  hers a Thank you   card   and I wanted  to  make them into a Christmas card. I used peaceful wishes  and  always artichoke  Classic  ink  with versa mark  pad &  Copper embossing  and it is one of those  very simple  NO layer cards  ..

Today I have   my  appt with my knee surgeon  that did my knee replacement over a year ago .. I have an appt  for my 1 year check up  with him  BUT  before that I am going to post office to  mail  out all these goodies you bought..Thank you all sooo much

Well its time  to get some Birthday cards made and I pulled out my old faithful Froggie set late last night  and made  these 2 cards .. Of course these will be for  birthday girls . I used pixie pink and pink passion CS  with black ink and colored in the  froggies  with pixie pink  marker  and  then used my  white gel pen for the eyes and  dots around the base  of card.. I then took my dauber  of pixie pink and highlighted the HOPPY BIRTHDAY part  .. I  think the reason I love making this card is that it is sooo easy , Fast and  sooo stinkin cute ..IMHO  especially in the pink version HUH? I also made some for Birthday boys ..  Yes Ben ( you know the "FAMOUS BEN ") Jessies  guy she likes .. well His birthday is also this month  (Dec 16th actually ) Jessie thinks its the coolest that they have their  birthday in the same month  anyway Ben gave me his Favorite  colors ( Green and Blue ) I instanly thought of the  froogies, I will have more time today to make  some more birthday cards  and Bens is on the top of the lists of ones to make  Today .. will be just like the card above But in green galore and brillant blue

Speaking of Birthdays my birthday  is 1 month away today I will be turning the  OH NO ~BIG 40  (chuckle  chuckle ).. Really its just a number  to me no big thing , just hard to believe I will be 40  just saying  FORTY makes me feel smarter and I am 20 some years from being as wise as my mom

As I posted last night yesterday was such a HUGE blessing we went on hospital visitation again for the 2nd time ..  as usual we seen the Lords hand at work in everything .. we ended up seeing 7  beautiful friends from church  when we only intended to vist 3  its such a blessing  to see how God works and whats even more awesome is we can see HIM working everyday if we will be still long enough to   "Really" look .. so many things happened  I really dont want to bore you all with the  fine details BUT I really need to record this down on my blog for my  personal journal  today on what happened yesterday .. so if you want you can skip over the next  section thats highlighted in BOLD

Went and seen on the list 1st was  J.T ( he had a knee replacement on Friday ) .. While visiting with JT , Mary  Ruth  was walking in the hall and walked right past us in JT's room  ( she just had  her leg  fixed~  But get this   her  leg was cut  from the bottom of her knee all the way up  past her hip on  left side ) we ran out to give her a hug   she was doing her PT  for rehab  so we let her go  back to work and  went back to JT. What a sweet man  JT is . we all cried laughed , shared   and  then  we all prayed ..  after JT we jotted down to Mary Ruth  to prayer with her   and chat  a minute, then it was off to the 3rd floor  to see Betty  she was in  for  some  infection in her leg and  funny thing is we didnt even  know it was her laying in the bed   we looked at her and she was sleeping  me and mom peeked in on the other bed to see if she was  there  then all of a sudden Betty yelled out I am over here Me and my mom both jumped  and we looked at betty and  we were both amazed  how different she looked  wearing a wig .Hee! Hee!  you know hospital hair isnt the best I suppose  I would have just thrown on one of my hats  BUT good  ole Betty put on a wig ..  after our vist  with Betty we prayed for her  and headed  down to lobby  where who did we see  Farley .. he was there for tests  with his cancer he just  recently found  out he has .. What a trooper Farley is  we huged him  and prayed right there in the hall way ( Never thought I could pray  in the middle of the hallway like that with folks walking past us they all probably thought we were a little werid .. BUT then again I did have my  purple hat on :-)  Then it was on to the next Hospital  to vist with Steves mom  who has some kind of stomach problem she was going to be released   probably  today .. BUT before we   even stepped foot in to  the  lobby of  North oakland  we seen a gift shop  mom and me thought the same thing we wanted to buy Ada ( Steves mom ) a little something .. we ended up buying her a Ty stuffed  bear OH my thing bear was sooo cute   and oh soooo soft and  pink  I  suppose it was made for baby cause thats what It said on the  tag ..  when we made it to see Ada  we gave her the bear and You know  it was a God thing  when  we seen her face  light up  she hugged  that bear and kissed it like it was a baby .. she then said  Quote "YOU girls sure know how to make a old woman happy " .. It was sooo beautiful   we waited  for Steve and Racheal to get back  from where ever they went  But no  see :-(  so we  prayed with Ada and  we went on our  way. We were walking  down all those  hall ways working our way back to the elevator  and  right before  we  were going to turn  down the hallway to get  to the elevators I said to my mom I wish we could have seen Steve and Racheal  and let me tell you before I even had said ~ Racheal ~ Steve  and Racheal  turned from the corner  I let out a scream it scared me  that no sooner I said it  There they  appeared  right in front of us.  I sreamed  so loud and quick   that Steve  even jumped    we ended up praying right there in the hallway (Hallways were becoming  a  very popular place for us yesterday  )  for them  and Steves mom ..  Me and mom giggled all the way down  to the lobby people thought we were  really looney  but we were just praising God  for all he had did .. Then it was off to have  Lunch  with  Dave and his wife Kathy ( Dave just had a heartattack this past week and his wife  Kathy is  recoverying from foot surgery  so what could be  better  than having lunch with them .. I called Dave and Kathy before  we left   the hospital parking lot  and  wanted to see if it was ok if we   came over and brought lunch  Dave said yes  so the next BIG question is what would you like us to bring you ?  after some thought Kathy and Dave both said how about a  Chicken BLT salad from Wendys  OK great thats what it will be then..  We ended our  vistiation  day at Dave and Kathys home  since I had to go get Jessie  at school  it all seemed to come  way to fast .. What a Great day   with 3 friends on the list to vist we got a bonus with 4 extras

Jessie gets her braces off today  at 9:00am  so 2 exciting things happen then ..  she gets to be late to school  and gets  braces off  what more could a young girl  ask for Hee! Hee! I will hopefully be in the  room when they  start removing them  and  so I can snap some photos of her .. of  course my  daughter just rolls her eyes when I tell her I want to be in there to take pictures .Hee! Hee! She knows how her mom is  .. she said One thing she has missed eating is Apples and corn on the  cob  We tried other methods so she would be able to eat thse  things BUT nothing beats eating things the old fashion way  KWIM?

We finally  got some snow .. NOT that I was looking forward to it By NO means   but  light and fluffy is ok  It is very pretty ..

Oh my  you all are really knockin my socks off here .. I was  already to put  my goodies in the BIG tub and  push them under my table........

Ok you want the good new or the bad news 1st .. Hee! Hee!

1st I want to  send a BIG Huge hug out to all of you  and I may get a little weepy here But truly you all have been so great  and such an encouragement to me for my 1st craft show   Its really to bad I didnt have you all there physically  in  back of me  with your pom poms  cheering me on  and  telling everyone  what you thought  of my goodies ..

Ok 1st I will start off  with my  display table  photos , so many of you wanted to see my tables .. I loved the way it looked and the more I  kept adding to the tables I more I  was thinking Man I should have had 3 table BUT guess what ?? It all fit ( Praise God ) ..  Not to sure how that all worked out  But I had my hubby  there and Man that man  can plan  things out ..  They had me set up right by the door as you came in  so I was the 1st  table they seen  and everyone Loved  everthing I had  .. Just didnt buy to much at all ..  Which is the bad  news .. BUT hold on  The good news Is I made a lot of new Possible stampers ..  I am not one to  think of reasons why  hardly anyone bought But a 1 thing did pop into my mind..  Not many  showed up for the Christmas party ..  So needless to say I  have a Ton of things left over  sitting  in my basement  all  package up with no where to go Boo Hoo! ..

This   turn out  will not stop me for doing my next craft show ( when ever that will be .. who knows ?? )  I will just focus on a  real "Craft show " for Craft people who  plan to attend  for Crafts and not a Christmas party .. I have always said  I think a stamper is the only one that can appreciate  the  stamped goodies .. I had  many fill out for my drawing  and  I will be drawing that name this week some time  after I stop and take a breather  for a minute . Hee! Hee!   Got a bunch of  check marks for more info on  workshops  so This is exciting  YAHOO!  Does it sound like I am exhaused ? well I am  Do you remember me saying that I liked to talk  well I just may lose my voice since I talked so much today ..   I met so many sweet   and kind people (  two wonderful woman who come to mind are Charlett and Kathy ) Chatting with  so  many  today this was  such a highlight  of today .. Soooo even though It wasnt   Big success in selling  It was still  super fun  and  as my  wonderful hubby said  " Well at least I got my feet wet"    He is sooo sentimental  isnt he?? Hee! Hee!

EVERYTHINGS READY!!

Especially me  Hee! Hee!  Once everything  got packed up I found my stampin room again .. One thing I have seemed to miss place is my SU! Banner  so My Upline  ( Lisa )  is letting me borrow hers WHEW!! I love that banner  cause its such an eye catcher KWIM? Well I thought I would share with you  a couple other items I made for my display table Here is my  snowman box .. I do not have a pattern to share since I cant   scan the pattern  to exact size .. soo sorry  ( insert my dog house card )  You can tell this box is not very big since you can kinda  measure  it by the  peppermint candies in the  box part ..  I recieved  one of these from my  friend Diane   last year  around Christmas at our GQ meeting and  I loved it .. I am sure you can make this box  any size  just as long as you  make one of the  ends of the box  with the snowman  shaped body . sorry I dont have to pattern to share if there is a way to  scan  and make the  template  exact size please let me know  ...

Here is a chipboard coaster mini book  I whiped out last night  literally it took maybe 15 mins tops to make .. BEATE has a great  tutorial on making these super cute mini books   .. I used the AT HOME simply scrappin  kit for mine and   since this is for my display Table I only added  a few pages .. I really love all these colors together .. I also used  W/Orandy ribbon in  Celery   and a snip of Cho. GG ribbon for the  tag on the front cover

I am sooo excited about todays Craft show  .. It really feels like I am moving everything  out .. I really feel bad for hubby since he will be carring everything  out  and in for me .. Thank goodness there is an elevator there at the Hall .. Praise God hubby will be there with me... I Just may need 3 tables, since I didnt do a  pre table set up at home ..( I really didnt want to get everything out  and do that . ) SO  while packing everything up I  realized I have a Ton of stuff..  Thank goodness I will keep out on display just a few of each item and keep the rest under the tables in my  tubs  this may be the only thing that helps  free up space for everything . I have over 20 different items  for sale .. Have you ever done something that you  look back and  are in total shock that you did it ..   I Remember that my  boyfriend ( which is my hubby now )  was graduating from Bootcamp in MIssissippi  well  I just hopped in my truck and drove down there from Michigan all by my self  I still look back on that  and say WHAT was I THINKING  and still cant believe I did that ..  It was all for LOVE  HUH?  Well this craft fair I am getting the same feeling .. I cant believe I made all these goodies ..Thank goodness I started making everything when I did.   there would have been NO WAY I could have done  even 1/2 of what I did  in the last couple weeks .. SO my advice  about preparing for a craft show  have LOTS of time  I would say at least a month or more  This way you can make things as you go with out being rush  cause we all know  things dont go well when we are rushed .. at least thats the way it is for me ..

I am so excited that  after  the craft show  I will be back to my   regular  Daily things and stampin for just FUN  not being a production line of stamping  KWIM?   This craft show has really  taken over alot of  me BUT, I must admit it was FUN .. Now  the real fun begins today, meeting everyone and talking .. Cause I do like to talk also ( go figure ) and what better thing to talk about than Stampin right  ? Right .. 1 Day to go ....

Tommorrow is my BIG day .. But until we get to that BIG day I wanted to share my daughters  BIG day of events yeterday..  Hubby and I usually always get her  flowers and a balloon  and have  it delivered to her school .. BUT the more I thought about it  That is  kinda  pricey and they are always late in  the delivery ( I want her to have the goodies all day to carry around from class to class) .. so this year I did the delivery and I decieded NO flowers because  I found a "Singing balloon "  ( I recieved one from Diane  when I had my knee replaement  done  mine sang DONT WORRY BE HAPPY!"  But Jessies  singing balloon  sang" HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU ") How perfect was that ?  something that  would  be so cute and  everyone  would look at her  coming down the hall  with a singing balloon Hee! Hee!  Just the thought of it  makes me laugh .. BUT   10 bucks a Pop so thats why No flowers  But God works in Mysterious  ways doesnt he ?  My cousin Ruthie  called me yesterday and asked what Jessie Favorite color was  and then she told me  she was  going to buy her roses .. OH my  See even though we didnt get the flowers for Jess  Ruthie  gave them to her .. WOWZIE!! Beautiful pink roses .. She also gave her a TY Stuffed  Doggie .I will have to get a photo of this sweet little thing .. OH my sooo soft and sooo stinkin cute .. Thank you  Ruthie , Kirk , Gabby , & Kurtis  You really brightened Jessies day ..  Thank you for the cards and   phone messages & comments   you left for Jessie she seen  them all ,  she got the funniest card from her papa in TN and Jody.  We went out to dinner to our usual Birthday spot Old country buffet  and  Jessie is just like me when it comes to opening presents .. she wants  to open them ASAP unlike her dad which he always  waits until we are done eating .. MEN!

  Here is a photo of her with all her goodies she got . ( A shirt, Jeans , hoodie, socks  , slippers, hairspray ( she really need that ) ,  belt,  earings,  purse, Journal, and  fancy colored  bands for hair.. You know being the ONLY  granddaughter   on both sides has its perks ... Hee! Hee!

Ok now on to my stamping adventure yesterday .. I ended up making  4 packs of "6 pack of hubby " cards .. each pack includes Happy Birthday , Anniversary, Sweetest Day , Valentines day , Mothers day, and last but not least  I'm Sorry card  for the I'm Sorry card I  wanted to make a dog house  cards  How funny is that ?Thanks for the great idea ...  anyway .. here is what I made  for the 6 pack for hubby .. I just winged the dog house as I went along .. This was the 4th attempt at making this card and I really like the way it turned out ... I  added the white gel pen to the bones on the border , and also added a little flap door  I was thinking I was going to  stamp something on the inside of the flap door like" I Ruff You"  But I havent done anything to the inside yet .. I just stamped the outside flap  with I'm Sorry  I used my Karen Foster snap stamp s for the dog house and the I'm Sorry..  I am going to pick your  brains on this ~ What should I stamp on the inside  of the card  and also on the little flap door .. any ideas ??~

Ok  for one more  of the cards  from  6 pack for hubby This is the Mothers day card  Very Very simple but I like the way it turned out also .. I just love that set " hip Hip Hooray" ( which by the way was the  set I used for Jessies Birthday card yesterday also.. if you look at the  photo of her and all her goodies  you can see her holding it )  ok on to  The Mothers Day card I made for the" 6 pack for hubby "   of course  this photo doesnt  show all the glitter .. so cute, soft and sparkly  I think so anyway .. what do you all think  ?  is it OK?

The Happy Mothers days is stamped on the inside  of the card  the little  creatures ( not sure if they are mice OR squirrals HUMM) anyway they are on the outside of the  card  ( kinda like a mommy and her baby Get it ) just very sweet I think ..

Speaking of glitter did you know   there is some BAD news on  Glitter usage .. Yes my  bud Jan Tink found an article on this  subject  if you want to read  what she found out about   glitter  click HERE and read what Dr Imnotastamper said  Hee! Ok I must get everything packed up today in the 2  tubs my hubby  brought in for me to use  ..I hope 2 will be enough ..OH my ..maybe one tub for my selling things and one  tub for my display of goodies . also have to finish up on   the packs of cards  If I want to add anything  to the inside of the doggie card  and inside of the flap door ..

Tonight  hubby and the youth are going to see the Nativty Story ..  I really wanted to go also BUT I could use that time  to  get things around also .. Me and My mom will go see it later this upcoming week ..I cant hardly wait  to see it  suppose to be great!!

Happy , Happy Friday

Happy Birthday to my  Jessie  girl today ! I will be calling the florist today and have it set up for  a surprise delivery of  some flowers and a balloon  which is always fun, and seems to be a yearly  thing  Hubby and I do for her ..

Here are the  Christmas cards I have recieved so far   with Harriets coming   all by itself the other day so thats why hers did'nt get in the group photo ..  Dont you love recieveing  Handmade  Christmas cards .. seems so much more exciting  and more personal  when  its handstamped  HUH?

Well its stamping again today ..  But the good news is everything  is pretty much done ( I ended up having 20 different things to  sell  at the craft show .. OH boy I hope it all  fits on my 2 tables ), now I am just going back and making more of a few things, Like the  candy cane  mice, and snowman poop... Last night I also started  making the" 6 pack for hubby" I got 2 of the 6 cards  done Just need 4 more  I have a Mothers day  and  Valentines day   card for the pack done .. I want to think of a way to make a doghouse  for the I'm Sorry card .. any ideas ?? I guess I could frame out a dog house  right onto the card ..  will keep you posted ..

I was talking to my friend Gina last night and she made a suggestion  about not putting  all of one item out on the table  just set a few  of them out and re plenish them as they sell out .. Sounds like a great idea to me .. and another idea she  mentioned  was to take my Birthday calender  and have it sitting out  on my display table .. wouldnt have thought of that ..Thanks GF!!

Remember this past Monday when we went  on vistation to the hospital ? Well this is the  card I made for  Bob   who we  went and seen in the hospital  I tried to take a better photo of it BUT it still did not pick up the "Thinking of you "   anyway if you look close you can see it maybe ..
