Tommorrow ( Dec 1st) my little girl will be turning 14 yrs old .. Can you believe that ? Wowzie. I really dont know how we are so blessed to have such a tender hearted, loving, sweet beautiful girl.. She may be taller then me But she will always be my baby girl .. I will be running to get a couple last minute things for her birthday tommorrow and then wrapping them .. Did you know Areopostale' is one of the only places she can get jeans that are long enough for her long legs .. so yup you guessed it she is getting a pair of jeans and a few other things .. I cant believe how it seemed that my money went alot further when she was just a little girl with toys .. Now its make-up/ clothes just a few things and your over 50.00... oh well I guess thats the pains of my pocket book when growing up .. another exciting day for her is Tuesday when she gets her braces off .. Will share the photo of her beautiful teeth when that happens
A few days ago I made these CD holders I cased the idea from Cambria on SCS" Thanks Cambria" here are her directions to make these cute CD holders.. One sheet of cardstock...
Cut long ways at 5 1/8 (so you have a piece that is 11x 5 1/8) Score this piece at 2 1/2 and again at 7 1/5 Take the left over strip and cut it down to 7 1/8.. It is already the perfect height. Score on each end at 1 inch. This is the inside piece that keeps the CD from sliding out. Glue to the inside pocket.
The left over piece you can use to mat your main image.
For mine I used Regal rose and bashful blue with my ole' favorite set " Frosty" I also used the " Let it snow " from "Cold play" and then the back side I used" Riverting" with the little tiny snowman from the set " Year around fun II" .. I also covered a blank CD-R cd and stamped that to match the set .. This cd they can upload photos, or music and then share it or keep it in the holder for themselves..
well today I am hoping to make all the placecards with each item and their price for my craft table .. I have maybe 20 or so things for sale and then I will hopefully finish up a few of my 5x7 frames ..
Christmas cards are already rolling in .. Started recieveing them the day after Thanksgiving .. Talk about being on the ball these girls are right on. I will post the ones I have recieved already maybe for tommorrows post ..
I have My Christmas cards all made But not being mailed out until maybe next week .... You know that craft show has put everything else on the back burner for now anyway .. I tell ya my life will seem boring after this Craft show .. which will be a GOOD thing .. I am sooo excited about the show But, now I am getting those feelings Like~ Did I do enough , Did I make to much, What if no one vists my tables .. I am sure ( at least I hope ) these are normal feelings I am having .. maybe its just me being alittle nervous and excited all at the same time ..
still so much to do .. Oh yes I was cleaning yesterday and found cookie cutters ( 8 or so ) in a container I had bought awhile ago dont quite remember where .. Its amazing what we find when we clean huh? I decided to sell these also at the craft show .. But I added tags to the cookie cutters ..( which you can see on the backside of the container with the SU! angel policy stamp hanging ) I made an assortment of 25 or so tags a few of them I took the actual cookie cutter and traced it out on whisper white and made a tag out of it ..
not sure if it shows up in this photo but the cookie cutter tags are the star, Tree, snowman .. the others are from holiday woodcuts , and I also stamped on Avery labels for those quick tags I hope it shows in the photo.. I used the oval scallope punch for the label on the front of container daubed with real red ink and added red gingham ribbon I also added a tag on the outside just incase they wanted to give this to someone ..
Hope you have a Terrific Thursday and Thanks for peeking in will see you all tommorrow.
Until later ... Happy Stampin!
