Hi everyone : I have been playing with ideas for goodies to make for the carft show I have coming up in Dec.. and well todays post is one of those items .. The only thing is I have no clue what to charge for any of my goodies .. Please share with me what you think I should charge for them as the days go by and I post a few of the goodies .. GO Tigers !!
A couple of my items is a criss cross card that I had seen on SCS by Michelle Wooderson...What a cute gift for a teachers, secretarys anyone really .. inside pocket holds 3 ~ 3x3 notecards w/ envelopes .. I have made a couple of these already one in Craberry crisp and this one in Bashful blue ..both are using Holiday tyme designer paper and I used 1 whole piece of 12x12 for each criss cross card holder and the 3 notcards with some left scraps over. Here is Michelle Wooderson's card and her directionsThanks Michelle !! ..
Ok Now what would you charge for these ladies ?? any ideas ?? The criss cross card holder is your standard card size Nothing huge. The Notecards I cut myself at 6 X 3 scored in half at 3" and I used the 1 1/4 " cicrle punch for the punch out on envelopes on back side and added the cicrle stamp where the punch out is . The stamp set I used for everything is Wishing you ... from the holiday mini .
NOTE: Yesterdays correction~ we celebarted our 59th church anniversary YAHOO! but 50 years at the same location..
Yesterday my mom and my daughter we cleaning out my moms attic and low and behold they found a scrapbook of my dads that my Grandma made over 50 years ago for him >> Wow what a treasure .. the pages are yellow and brittle and my daughter will restore the goodies and make a new scrapbook to preserve all those goodies from my dads younger years .. My Grandma probably didnt know it back then BUT she was on the cutting edge what what would be one of lifes favorite pastimes called scrapbooking .. go figure huh? she has almost every birthday card my dad recieved , along with notes dating when he did things and also when he got the chicken pox on Oct 10, 1951 1st grade which he caught from his sister ( my Aunt Mary ) .. wow pretty cool find huh? I will take photos of this treasure and post later .. Grandma even has dads report cards also .. even though these report cards dont tell you much about my dads later years in life I will say that just because my dad did get a couple D's on his report cards ...He was truly the smartest man I knew .. He could figure anything out .. Pretty amazing treasure I must say ..
Until later ... Happy Stampin !!
Dawnie, I can't wait to see the scrapbook once Jess gets it all cleaned up!

What great packets! I would pay probably $5 or so for them. And that would be snatching them at that price. Love the scrapbook stories! How blessed you are to have that piece of your grandfather!

Since you said these would be geared towards gifts for teachers, secretaries, etc. I think under $10 would be good.
I usually charge $2 a card...so maybe something like $7.50 a set.
GREAT find on your Dad's scrapbook!!!

I think you should charge at least 12.00 per set and that is being conservative. Consider your time. that in itself has got to be worth the cost I suggested. What do you think you should charge Dawn? They are very pretty and so well done.
What a wonderful treasure your mom found today. Now I know where you got your creativity from. At least some of it. ;)
