After yesterdays scary postings Hee! Hee! ....Maybe todays post should be something sweet .. right ? ok this is my pencil box I made for my christmas craft fair .. I will be making at least 3 more of these BUT, once again I dont know what to charge again for this item .. inside this box holds a calendar & cover, a package of tags , 2 different sized covered note pads, a matching RSVP pen , bag with cover, 4 matching cards, and a book marker.. My upline gave me one simular to this last January at Leardership seminar and I fell in love with it .. I have also since then submitted one to SU! ( with Debbies appoval of course and if I were to win I would share the winnings with her too) BUT never heard anything from SU! about it ( insert sad face ) .. HUMM what happened .I really dont know.. I have made several of these since I recieved my gift from my up. up ,upline Debbie. I especially love these for teacher gifts also . I have tried making them all kinds of different ways, one way I tried and DID not like was the Modge podge way did not turn out good for me .. so I am sticking with the reg old adhesive way .. you can use Snail , sticky strip try other things and see what works best for you .. I found the pencil boxes at Joannes and at Micheals . Have fun !!
*** Dawns Side note ***Also a few gals have requested I add a "SUBSCRIBER " list to my blog .. so if you have noticed the GET EMAIL UPDATES on the top left side of my blog under my photo, This is the place ..I do Think I have it set up correctly now . so just add your email in this box and feedblitz will forward any new posting I make to my blog to your email address at least thats the plan .. I was trying to figure out what I was doing wrong when I 1st set this up .. well appartently I needed to subscribe myself to FEEDBLITZ newsletter so you all could use this for my blog feed so I do believe it is working now .. Please let me know ?
Today for Sunday school class I stamped out halloween 'Color cards " for my kids to color before class starts I will send these actual cards they colored to them for Halloween . I used my Karen Foster's snap stamps and stamped out "HOPPY HALLOWEEN" and then used the unfrogettable set stamped all over the front and the inside so they will have lots to color in .. should be interesting to see how they will turn out differently .. I may post the after photos later to share with you all also .. so stay tuned
Yesterday I cut and mounted my moms stamp set from mini catalog "Heavenly peace" Love this set for those simple cards I plan to make for my craft fair ..I made some yesterday OH I love this set .. I tried embossing BUT took away from the simple design so I just stamped in Cho chip oooohhhh so simple and beautiful I can hardly contain myself .. I made these for my next Stampers club hostess "Jenny " ( pack of 10 ) and also a pack of four for my mom for letting me borrow it now I just need to whip out packs of 6 for my craft fair .. stay tuned for those photos ..
All my leaves are pretty much on the ground in my back yard :-( We had our youth group auction and bought BEN ( This is the boy Jessie likes ) and Ben will come over one day and help us rake up all these leaves .. We rented him for 65.00 for 2 hours so I am sure we ( I mean BEN ) Hee Hee! will get lots done .. better be soon since its down right freezing here in Michigan .. and of course the sooner the better for Jess ..
Until later .. Happy Stampin !

I just subscribed to your email letter.
The set that you made is so very pretty. The colors are loveley. You always make such wonderful things.
The frog cards that you made for the children to color are so cute. I'll bet they had fun.

Not sure what to charge either. I've always wondered ever since I made one at your stamp camp class. Let me know what you decide on and what feedback you get at your craft fair.
