I Had No Chance to stamp its a very sad day cause no stamping took place yesterday BUT exciting news on the extreme Bedroom makeover . another late late night BUT we are finished with her room and waiting for her arrival back home at 2:00pm this afternoon for the BIG unvieling ..
DRUM ROLL PLEASE......
TA DA Would like to highlight some hidden features Jessie will notice ( Side note to self .. Need to fix the missing drawer knob on big dresser )
New rugs for her fabulous room which Bowzer had to break in 1st
and notice her new light switch plate,
and new cutrains for window, and closet ( So very happy we ditched those sliding doors what a pain those were ..
and new tiny lights for under her bed .( we are waiting for her to tell us where she wants them to go under her bed with her desk area ..and also the new very girlie nightlight with dingle berries OH sooo cute ...
and then notice we put a couple photos of the boy she likes from our church ( Ben ) on the ceiling where she will sleep ,
( this was actually hubbys idea.. )
new bed comforter ( satin Pink of course )
and the new base board trim along with new vent covers..
and last but not least look at what we added to the headboard of her bed .. I drew bubble letters and hubby cut them out .. just a nice small touch huh? Cant say thats NOT her bed huh?
I Love love the way her room turned out so much better than we even imagined .. the last 2 mornings when hubby and myself got up we would always go to her room to look and see if its really still there ..Kinda like making sure it wasnt just a dream .. KWIM.. Daughters favorite color is PINK of course but also Orange so when I found these curtains at wally world On clearence( I might add )and had ONLY 4 left which is what we needed I had to grab them and put my mom back to work as she cut and drapes for the window curtains I only wanted the super long length for closet .. These cutrains remind me so much of a Carnival & cotton candy .. maybe its the strips and bright colors .. The rugs were picked last since I wanted to bring the pink and Orange together in some way and not be soooo over bearing with PINK PINK PINK .. Thanks for all your encouragement through this 2 day process Yup hard to believe we did this all in 2 days and whats even more amazing is that we did this all while hubby was working his reg. job also ( a Journeyman Electrican ) My hubby is sooo amazing I dont think there is anything this Man Can NOT do .. seriously ..
so Now we wait until later this afternoon to surprise Jessie.. gonna kill me not blabbing the awesome news when I see her .. whats even worse is that I will have to keep her away from house until after 4:00pm ( thats when hubby gets home from work today .. Ya know he wants to see her face when we say " BUS driver MOVE THAT BUS! ok maybe not a bus driver but when we swing that door open so maybe while I am waiting to pick her up I will go sit in her room and drool and then maybe go stamp a weeee bit before 2:00pm
Before & After photos of Jessies new room
Until later ... Happy Stampin
Wow, Dawn! She's going to love it. I remember when our daughter wanted white carpet, so we waited til she was at band camp & got it for her. The look on her face when she saw it was priceless. Get your camera ready.

The room came out beautiful! I can hardly wait to read about what your daughter said and how she looked the first time she saw her room all new. You and your husband did a wonderful job.
