I do it a bit differently and lay down the sticky strip right on the cardstock (keeps me going straighter, lol!), and then lay the ribbon on top of it. You'll use a lot less S.S. that way!!!
I make a scrunched up wave using 3+1 glue or Crystal Effects. It glues right to the card stock and is cheaper than the sticky strip. I draw a line to lay the 'scrunching' down on and it stays pretty straight. I use it for scrap book pages also!
You make this look so easy; I have always ended up with ribbons stuck to the wrong places. Will try again with your excellent advice! Thanks for sharing. MJ
This is really pretty, and I'm sitting here trying to formulate a card for a man's 60th birthday, and I think if I used brown ribbon, I could get away with this technique. :)))
