Wings of Friendship stamp set ~ Hostess ONLY set level 2
Stampin'Up! pastel chalks # 105542
Whisper white Craft ink # 101731
Black Card stock #102851
**Try different darker colored card stock ~ The look is amazing Plus you will need any solid image stamp to do this technique.**
cotton balls ( local store )

Guess I need to get out the chalks and try this technique again..."I" have never had great success with chalks sticking to my projects where the chalk color(s) was dark enough to SEE on the dark cardstock...but yours looked awesome!! LOVE the stamp set also!!

Love the card...does the chalk need to be set with fixative? Will the chalk rub off during mailing? Hummm....

Leave it up to You to come up with a great technique to use with chalks. I use mine very little, but this makes me want to use them more. Such a simple thing with such a huge impact! Thanks!!!!!!

Thanks Dawn for the "chalk reminder". I haven't done this in a long time. Sometimes we forget what products we have because we are so busy buying new ones...lol
I love it when I am inspired to do an old technique and incorperate it with the new things I've bought, eg., punches,DP, inks, markers, glitter, etc...TFS

Just wondered about chalks being heat set also?? Would any type eraser work for removing excess chalk? In other words..if I don't have the S-UP Brand? could you use a pencil eraser perhaps? Didn't know...
