Holly

do you use anything special to adhere the focal image to the tissue paper?

I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this technique! TFS!!

I've always loved this technique, but have always known it as "Faux Silk", not Faux Linen. We've always done "Faux Linen" by lightly sanding glossy card stock in 2 directions and then brayering on color so you get the linen "lines" to come through.

BTW - "Faux" is the french word for "forgery." (All those years of French class - finally good for knowing something!" :)

what a great idea Dawn... love the card.

A very elegant looking technique! It also looks nice if you go around the edge with a dauber (AFTER adhereing tissue to white CS), using the same colour ink as used on image. Beautiful. TFS
