For todays card I used the AHOY MATEY stamp set along with the designer label punch , 1 3/8" circle punch & 1 1/4 " circle punch . go grab your More mustard cardstock and your ink pads ( listed below ) and lets make this background together .
The layer with the Ship is
Whisper White ( 2 1/4 X 3")
More Mustard ( 2 1/2" X 3 1/4")
The Faux wood Grain background I used :
More Mustard card stock
More Mustard classic ink ,
Close to cocoa Classic ink
Chocolate chip classic ink
along with White Craft ink
A Ruler , Black maker
Enjoy
Until later... Have a Stampin Good Time!!

Question : Will this previous ink transfer to the white craft ink ? Answer: NO ~ Just be sure you are using the classic ink pads for the More Mustard , Close to cooca & chocolate chip. HTH :-)
What a wonderful tutorial! Thank you Dawn! What does it do to the white craft ink pad? Does it discolor it? Just wondering..this faux plank background would work for most fall cards...thanks again.

I believe many grasses are stronger sequesterers of carbon than trees anyway. All the more reason to stop chopping down forests in the first place I guess.
i think we also need to take into account that the new farmer needs to heat his house somehow, and if he's not burning wood, he is likely using fossil fuels of some sort to do the heating... so i would say burn the wood.
