Another Valentines day treat holder ..

Can you believe  Valentines day is  tomorrow .. so Guess what ? I have  another video tutorial coming tomorrow on these  cute  candy holders .. I have the written  directions  HERE But my  video tutorial is ready to roll for tomorrow   and Just cause you all are sooo sweet  there will be  a  couple extra  tid bits  excluded in the video  stay  tuned  for  that  on Valentines day Tomorrow  .. I used HAPPY HEART DAY stamp set  for these  and  the cardstock is Rose Red with  Cetainly  Celery.  Super cute little goody  to give to your valentines  sweetie .. I  added the Reeses peanut butter hearts to the  inside of mine  OH SOOO YUMMY!!  I just want  to mention I have NOT ate all this candy that has been  in my house  during this  time of making all these V-Day treats  Thank goodness :-) Hope  you all  have a  Wonderful valentines Day with your sweetie  tomorrow. I recieved  a Valentine from my honey bunch with the  sweetest  letter inside  and  Brace yourself  He asked me to  marry him again ..This August we will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and he wants  to renew our wedding vows  since we got married at the court house  and never had a "Church" wedding  sooo Romatic  HUH?   he said  he has been waiting 5 years to ask me again .. WHY ? I have no clue maybe  cause  its  the BIG 20th   Plus he  said he  doesn't want to wait until our 40th or 50th  anniversary since  he wants to enjoy the honey moon  Hee! Hee! ( what  a Guy )  soooo  nothing in the works as of yet,  But  Will keep you  all posted .. Hey maybe I can  share our  special  day  with you all via  video :-) JK ! BUT wouldn't that be a hoot :-)

Cute Centerpiece

I knew as soon as I seen  this  super cute  center piece I knew I wanted to make one, and here it is .   I added a whole bag of Hersey Chocolate kisses filled  with  Caramel  OH my  these are sooo yummy. I used BALI BREEZE DS paper  for my  center piece  and  also  for my  windmill  ( the windmill  template is from the SU! demo  only  web site . I will see if I can  upload the pattern for you) I also used the  Heart from the ALWAYS stamp set ( which is a fabulous set )  and the  windmill is  attached to a  straw (  pretty cool huh?)   I also use my  BIG  BITE ( which is the  Crop-a-dile II  which I also LOVE )  Click on the words BIG BITE  above and view the  video  to show you tips on this fabulous new product ..

You can  view the  directions on how to make this centerpiece Or  a  upside down Cootie  catcher is what my daughter calls them :-) HERE .  Funny how things  repeat themselves  over the years.  I remember making these in school  with all my friends , BUT We never called them cootie catchers HUH? .. BOY has  times changed  Hee! Hee!

Ok   once again  I have a little Side note I want  to share :  We finished up our Bible study last night . We  were studying  Beth Moore's JESUS THE ONE AND ONLY  for the last 10 weeks What an AWESOME   study it was makes me all excited  and wanting more  of HIM .. But Hey Guess what ? Did you  know Beth Moore  has a BLOG?  NO STINKIN WAY  Beth Moore .. YES  she does  YAHOO!! click HERE  to  pop in and see whats going on with her .. You will love her & her blog . Now I am on my next journey  and finishing  the Book EXPERIENCING GOD   you want to know something really odd~Ok its not really Odd since we know things don't "just" happen  right ?  Divine intervention  thats what I am talking about .My hubby found this book in an abandoned hotel he was working  at in Baghdad,I know OF all the places to find such an Awesome book HUH?  There the book laid all by its lonesome on a table. Hubby picked it up and It changed  his life.. Now he has passed it on to me  to read . Its soo Awesome How God works. Ok enough of my super long blog post  today.

Happy Saturday girls ...

Oh my  goodness~ where -oh -where did January go ..  Seems time is flying by so quickly, which is a really good thing  in  my book , Since its  closer to when hubby will be coming home again :-)  Just  wish the snow  would go away .. far far away .. I  am so tired of shoveling  and  these  cold  temps ..  I thought I would let you  all know I have  so many  videos planned  for the upcoming weeks  and I  have been  having  so Much fun making them .. Hard to believe  that a camera would bring  such pleassure :-)  I must start  sharing the  videos  I  already have on file  with all of you  since most of them are such CUTE ideas for your Valentine gift giving this year and YIKES V-Day is only 19 days away .. So today I thought I would share  another V-day video  tutorial with you all  on these adorable  lolli  pop holders .. I must tell you  though  when I made this  video I  had BIG plans to make them for  Jessie Class mates this year BUT... THESE took  their place instead  But  I still have  ALOT of them to make  for  church friends, Sunday school kiddies  and  my   Stampin Queens (Club girls).. Good thing they are sooo easy  and fun to make  cause I am not  to Crazy on  "production line "  type  of stamping ..  Hope you all have been enjoying my  videos .. I can't make any promises BUT  I will try and not  forget things  when I prepare  the  supplies  for  video taping  (Notice  the word "TRY" )..  It really makes me laugh  when this happens and YES  this really happens  all the time to me  Just ask my  stampin Queens :-). I   also  think  It may help those of you  to see that NOT everyone is perfect :-)

Jessie's V-Day goodies ...

Here are  some of  the Valentines day goodies I made this past Saturday  for Jessie's Classmates / Teachers ..  Want to hear something  cute ..  This  school  year Jessie had 2 new girls  join her  10th grade class and when Jessie Brought in  the HALLOWEEN TREATS   for her classmates .. Sarah ( one of the new girls )  was soo  excited  and  One of Jessie's  other classmates (Chelsea ) who has been there as long as Jess  said to Sarah  "You aint seen nothing yet, Jessie's mom always makes  goodies for us every  Seasonal  Holiday".. So I guess the pressure is on now  to keep the goodies  coming .. To be hontest  I would anyway :-) Just wish I could be a fly on the wall when they get these  cute  sweet tart holders  Jessie wanted  me to make the base  Green galore  ( She  thought  the boys wouldn't  think much of  getting a Pixie pink Holder .. ) BUT I still had to add a  small  Pixie  pink to the  layer of my  centered image Hee! Hee!  and Jess was cool with that .." Thank goodness "

Here is another fancy fold Valentines days card ..

I  am sooo Crazy  about this  card style  .. I  am a  stamper that loves  anything that moves ,  pops out , pops up ,  folds  really  cool ,  slides  around  you  get the idea  right ? So  know you know  why I am  so  GaGa  about this type of card ..  I used  FLOWERS FOR YOUR designer  paper  and the HAPPY HEART DAY stamp set which  you  already Know I love ..:-)  If  for  some reason you missed my video Tutorial on making this type of card Please click HERE to  view  that .. Candy Holder

I am just having  so much fun with  this  HAPPY HEART DAY  stamp set .. You really must get it before   Love  day is  over with  and this  Month there is a AWESOME SPECIAL  going on  so  there is no time  like today to make this set  yours ... For my  Sweet Tart  candy holder I used  Pixie pink  and Green Galore  card stock and  SU! markers  also  with WHITE TAFFETA RIBBON  Oh my  when I was making this I had a Light bulb moment   it may be old news to you  BUT I  never  tried it SOOO when I made this I  was going to use  Velcro  to seal  it shut  this little  goodie  BUT here  comes the light bulb moment .. I used the Taffeta Ribbon  to  secure the flap  shut .. How stinkin  cute is that ?  Brillant I say  I just tucked the  bottom  flap  under the  ribbon from the inside of the top flap .. I am sooo excited  I  can share this  with you  all since I know you  would  truely   appreciate  my light bulb moment  Hee! Hee! I also used the  SLIT punch  for the  center  section to hold the little bag of valentines  day sweet tarts .. I have  so many  cute  things to share  with you  using  this  Super cute  set ..  OK Onto the  measurements  Cause I know  your  wondering  right ?  I would have done a video Tutorial But it  really  is  so Cute I  couldn't  wait to  do  the video  so here  are  the measurement  in  written form ..

Cardstock  8  1/2 X 4"

Score at 3" and  at 6 1/4 

thats  it .. Pretty simple  HUH?  Such a sweet little gift .. I  am  going to making these  for all the  people  I visit  between Now and V-Day ( bank , Post office , Store ,Gas station ) Of  course with my  business card inside ..  How  cute HUH? My daughter  wants these also for her  Class   for Valentines day .. OH man I better get busy cause  It looks like  I have 2 goodies  now for her  class  ( the other one  will be shared  very soon ) I guess this is  what happens  when I 'm having to much FUN stampin  for Valentines day.

I figured something out ...

I figured   out  that I  am a  fun stamper  whats that you  say ?  ( I am so glad you asked Hee! Hee! ) well I find that I just love making goodies for  holidays  that  are  centered around FUN!! Like   Valentines day ..  Who doesn't  " Love "   Valentines day ? ( No pun intened )  It does  make it  alot more fun when you have someone to LOVE  huh?  I find Christmas & Valentines day  The most fun  for me  personally ..  I really  dont know why It took me   almost  5 years to find this out  about myself .. But I actually think its pretty funny ..  anyway I  was  in  the mood to  make another one of those fabulous shadow box  cards  which you  can find that tutorial HERE   this time I used the heart  from the  TIME  WELL SPENT stamp set and the  Happy Valentines day greeting is  from HOLIDAYS & WISHES . I  did alittle  masking with the Heart  stamp   and  TA DA  here is  my  finished  card .. I also added a little  bling with my  dazzling  diamonds  around my hearts  which I think  Just barely  shows  up in the photo .. anyway  at least I mentioned it  for you  to be looking  for it  :-) I also used my marker in Regal rose ( same as card stock )  and added tiny  doodle  dots   for the  front of my shadow box card which may not  be seen very  good without clicking on the photo to make larger , anyway I also added a bunch of brads  to the center of my  flowers  then  carried them out to the edge  of the  shadow box .. Valentines day goodie ..

I made this  Valentine  gift holder  which  could hold  money , a gift card , gum or  anything  flat and small . I used  SU! reg  size  Whisper  white envelope and folded it in half  cut the flap  in  half  and sealed one  side of the flap  shut and I then decorated  it with the HAPPY HEART DAY stamp set .. Happy Valentines day !!

Is this Not the cutest card you have ever seen ?? I am only saying this because It was not my idea  But Kelsey Jones  ( Hi girlie )  You see This card design is  most certainly from a future  SU! Demonstrator .. want to know why ? Because the original idea  of this card  came from my friend Patty's 15 year old daughter  Pretty stinking Awesome  don't you think ..making that   CS look like a  Chocolate candy bar ..  Patty  you must  be sooo proud of Kelsey .. Kelsey made one of these cards and  gave it to her mom  since Patty is a chocolate addict  Hee! Hee!  as soon as She shown her card to me Via email I knew this was the card  I was going to make for hubby  and daughter  for valentines day..Not exactly sure what she all used for her card"Candy bar "  But I used aluminum foil for my  candy wrapper  and the wrapped it of course with  LOVES  ME designer  paper I of course had to use my crimper for the  end of the candy bar , and then I actually ripped the ends  of the candy bar . The  chocolate card bar is using the  Happy in the "SO Very"  sell-a-Bration  set .. gives the illusion of a  Hersey  bar doesn't it  I was NEVER so excited to  finish making  these cards.. I of course added  stickles  turq. Glitter to the SO VERY on top of the cards, of course the pink one is for Jessie  and this one is for  my HUBBY  yes  both cards made the same just different   colors  in designer paper , Cause you can never have enough chocolate in ones home right ?  Thank you  so much  Patty for sharing  your daughter Kelsey's awesome card and thank you Kelsey  for  such a out of this world  Valentines Day Card ..

OK now on to something else I made for hubby  for Valentines day  you see this is how it all got started .. I bought these peanuts from Sam's Club yesterday for hubby  and I got to thinkin ..  I should really  make these into something extra special .. so why not cover  the can  and  express my TRUE feelings all over it  TA-DA  introducing  the Talking can .. OK  its not really a talking can But  It does  announce my  true feeling of my  wonderful hubby  wouldn't you say .. Hee! Hee!   Sine this photo was taken I had  since added  CHO GG ribbon  around the lid part where the yellow  shows . so try to vision  that  instead of the yellow lid color showing ..  I used  my Letterpress Alpha bet  and stamped out this saying " I AM NUTS OVER U Valentine " the word Valentine is  stamped with   Everyday flexible  phrases.. I think  this is soo perfect for my honey bunch   and I must say between the Fabulous cards I made  for  each of them and this can of peanuts ..IT WAS KILLING me not to spill the   beans and  show them BUT I was good and kept it all under wraps .. Thank God I can give them out to them today cause I don't think I could  wait another day .. I am soo excited  to give  them their cards and  these peanuts to hubby..

Ok On to  yesterdays blog candy give -a-way .. If you haven't seen  the winners yet  check below in last nights posting.. I am still laughing   and ok maybe  saying EEEEWWWW alittle too  from all your comments ..This was for sure the most fun  I had with a blog  candy give-a-way.. Stay tuned for  more blog candy in the future  everyone  . Just need to think of another question that will top that one from yesterday .. HUMMM.You all are such great sports  for playing ..  and you all made my day !!  I was laughing so hard  that Hubby thought I had totally flipped out .. We got snow last night still waiting to see if  Jessie has school  ..Our public school   in our area  has canceled school that  that doesn't always mean Jessie school has been canceled  even though I  really think it may be cause I hope so  as much as Jess since I don't want to go out in this mess ..  alot of drifting snow  and high winds  yesterday made it worse ..

I have a new adventure I will be sharing with you tomorrow  I hope you will all check back in  and see what I am talking about .
