I have add many ask me what is the Direct to Paper technique ( background ) when I posted this card last week. I have used this technique in a couple of my past videos BUT not one video just focused on this technique so I thought I would make a quick tip video on this fun technique today .
I will be using the Bordering Blue card stock #102630 & the Bordering blue classic ink #102265 in todays video .

Oh my goodness I am so excited about todays video .. I recieved this card from Georgia at Founder's Circle and I contacted her to see if she would mind if I made a video on her card and she was sooo sweet and said YES!! YAHOO!
I have made so many of these step cards since gettings Georgias card that I think I may be addicted to making them .. such a AWESOME card . Thank you Georgia !!
Here is one I made using Jessie's senior photo . LOVE IT! I used Summer Sun #103124 and Black#102851 Card stock along with the daisies #2 bigz die #114520 to bring the photo and the card together and make the flowes in Jessie's photo pop alittle more .. the designer paper I used was from the Night & Day specialty paper #116768 in the Holiday mini. The Happy Graduation greeting is from the Teeny Tiny wishes stamp set #115370 I am sooo freaking excited about todays video ..
PLUS my voice is so much Better Praise God !

I have this cute card to share with you all today Plus a new Video today to show you how I did that center layer on my card .
I used Tempting Turquoise #102067along with Whisper white card stock # 100730.
The finished size of my card today is 4" x 4"
The stamp sets used are Cold & cuddly #116523 and Serene Snowflake #115438 which both are in the holiday mini right now . You will need the Scallop edge punch# 112091 to make the center image Oh my this is super easy and so fun ..
I'm still not back to my normal voice BUT getting better ( alittle )
OH my goodness Tonight is my Hostess party at my church . Food, Games, Awards and of course Stamping will take place. I am so excited about tonights event .
No theme to this years party like in the past which you can Click HERE to view last years Hawaiian party .
But all the M&Ts are Christmas themed this year and 3 of 4 the M&T's are cased from the Found Circle swaps I recieved .

Many have already recieved your October Thank you note/s from me and you are probably wondering HOW in the world did I do that HUH? so Here is How I made them .
I used the Autumn Splendor Stamp set # 116503 and the Grateful Greetings stamp set #116511 along with OH so Fabulous Shimmer Paint called Champagne Mist #116806 all these items are in the Holiday Mini .
I just love love love the shimmer paint and there are seriously so many ways to use it BUT the way I use it today in my video on my Thank you notes is MY all time favorite.
You may remember doing this technique with Pearl Ex ( which SU! use to sell years ago ) But Shimmer Paint Totally Rocks !
Makes all your cardstock shimmer & sparkle with just a couple squirts :)

I thought It would be fun to start a new Video catagory and call it Happy Stamping.
This catagory will feature cards that are simple and quickly made.
I will make the whole card with you in each video except for the cutting and adhereing some items together to help speed up the proccess .

The really great thing about this cute pouch is that it can be used for any occasion of course all you have to do is change the stamp set . I made mine into a Christmas themed pouch and I used the Hostess level 2 stamp set called Christmas punch .

Changing things up a bit for this week since I'm going to be heading to convention. I have 3 videos for you starting today with My August Thank you Notes .
I just think these are the cuttest little thank you notes ever .. I used the Greetings Earthling stamp set#113810 along with Crazy Cool stamp set ## 115211 .
I will be doing Something alittle different for this months Thank you notes which you will see in todays video .
