Hi Stampers

 

More Christmas goodies are  showing up in my  mailbox  and I want to show  you  what Judy Boggs  sent me.

Judy sent me  this adorable box using the  top note die with the petals-a-plenty  embossing folder  filled  with tons of Hersey Kisses ( Yummy ) .  Judy also sent me  another  awesome card But I will share  that one  alittle  later with you  :)

Yesterday( Tuesday 12-29-09)  we started painting Jessie's room  this is what she asked for Christmas this year . I guess  she has out grown the  pink and orange  color  she had . She picked purple and gray paint ( and we all know I love purple  seems  it has rubbed off on Jessie now too ) I will share photos  later  of the process  But until then  you  can  view  what her  room looked  like before  HERE

Hi Stampers :

Here is  a super  cute  box  made from the Bitty  box and  envelope  bigz die #115967 with real red card stock and the stamp set used is Berry Christmas # 116509 from the Holiday mini .

The Box has  some pretty   3/4" real red  polka dot  GG ribbon #115608 tied around it  and linen thread #104199  to  tie ribbon on top of  box  I just love the looks of that  ribbon  tied like that..

 Mickey Tait  sent me this  adorable note cube which she made the  base to hold   the  little  stack note cubes  from card stock  and also sent me  a matching  Christmas  note card .. Just love  these snowmen from the stamp set called The more the Merrier  hostess level 3  stamp set    Her  set of goodies  brought a BIG smile to my  face .  I  have  recieved  so many  beautiful goodies  in the mail for Christmas I wanted to share them with you  starting  today :)

I will start  with Christine  Anderson's  Christmas card  sooo Beautiful I just love it ! so  vivid in  color  even the photo doesn't  do it justice .. Just Amazing  Thank you  Christine :)

Next card  is  from Lori Sheteron  I love how she  added red  dots  to her  embossed  card stock .. really  adds  the perfect  touch to an already awesome  card :) she also sent me  the  cuttest doggie  gift card to Walmart .. Thank you  so much Lori :)

Next  card  came  from  Carolyn Stout  Love her Hello card. So Bright  & cheerful  and I knew that's exactly  what she ment it  to be  by her sweet note she wrote to me inside ..  Thank you so much Carolyn :)

Ok  the next goodie came  from laurie which   you  all seen this past Friday HERE   But  you  need  to see what else  she  sent me.  Laurie  sent me this adorable  snowman magnet along  with her  Scallop Christmas tree card  Is this not  the  cuttest  thing  ever :)

What ? Merry Christmas ?

 So  many of  you  are starting your Christmas cards right  now ~

At least that's  what I heard  from Laurie  at Club night  Saturday  night  and also from  alot of you  during my Phone- a-Thon a couple weeks  ago . 

Well here  is another one of those  simple No layer  cards  BUT  this one is  a Super  cute Snowman /Christmas card .

I used the Brand  new Hostess  level 3 stamp set Called The more  the Merrier...

Remember  my cupcake~ no layer card~ I made  using this same  stamp set ? Click  HERE  to view that one.

These 2 cards (Cupcake ( previously ) & Snowman  )  are  from the 5 cards  I made for my Stampers Club  Hostess  Carol  this past Saturday night.

Here  is  a upclose photo of the  snowmen  .

The Merry Christmas greeting  is from the Brand new stamp set called Teeny Tiny  Wishes  That I punched out  with the  Word window punch#105090 . Then  I used the Brand new Modern label Punch  in Bashful blue card stock .

No layers Christmas card ...

Hi Stampers:

Today I have this  super  cute NO layers Christmas Card.  I love all  snowmen images  and  making  simple  and quick  cards   especially if your making a ton &  this one is   alot of fun to make . 

This  card  hits all the  things I like to  do Coloring with my markers  , Using my  stamp-a-ma-jig, adding  glitter and is super  easy

 

 This Snowman image is  from Punch Pals ## 109489  stamp set . Another awesome thing about this stamp set is there are soooo Many other adorable  images  all in  this one  fabulous stamp set . This card was  going to be one of the  5  cards  for my  resently pasted Stamp a stack "Christmas themed " event  But  changed it  out  at the last minute .  I also used the Short  & Sweet  # 109369  stamp set  for the  greeting .

Stamp -a-ma-jig #101049   was used to line up the  presents  & and  cute Christmas tree which  both of those images are  in the Punch pals stamp set  also . Dazzling  diamonds#102023  was  also added  to my  cute snowman using the  2 way glue pen #100425  since  a snowman is NOT complete without Glitter right ? wink wink !!

Reindeer Poop .

Hi Stampers:

Yesterdays  post on my snowman poop I had  alot of questions on the bags  I bought  from the  dollar store .. MY bags  I used  measure 3"w x  4 3/4"H  then  when I cut the  zip sealer off the the bag  it measures 4" H. Hope this helps .

My Topper measurement is 4" X 4" and scored at 2"  then used the  scallop edge punch  for the front  then  trimed the back of the topper so its  even with the  front  scallops

I did the same thing with my Reindeer Poop BUT  I  of course changed the  Snowman to Reindeer on the tags  and  added Rasins  instead of the tiny marshmellows. I love  my poop Bags :) 

 I also used the Reindeer  from the same  set as  the snowman I used  in yesterdays post

Merry & Bright stamp set# 110376

  along  with the

1 1/4" circle  punch # 104403 with Whisper white / Reindeer

 1 3/8 circle punch #104401 ~Creamy Carmel Card stock

 Scallop circle punch #109043~ Riding hood red Card stock

and

Linen Thread # 104199  to tie tag  to topper  

I also added  red  glitter to the reindeer nose.

My Hot cocoa slider

Oh my goodness.. I was going through my  photo files I noticed I didn't  show you  girls  the  Hot cocoa sliders I made for our Sunday school  directors  at my  church  I also gave them  THESE GOODIES  Plus one of THESE also for Christmas last month . I  embossed the snowflakes with WHITE DETAIL EMBOSSING POWDER and I used  Buckaroo Blue  Cardstock and ink ( retired last year ) with Bluebird GG ribbon (retired )  The stamp sets  are SNOWFLAKE SPOT and FESTIVE FAVORITES  I  really love how they turned out . OH boy it has been a  whirl wind  of a  week this week  I will spare you  all the details  ( until next week  anyway ) I thought I would share with you  girls  my Ornaments I made for my   best friends Linda and Pam this Christmas .. I gave them these on Christmas  Eve  at our  candle light  service  Monday night  and  I just love all the sparkle  on them .. I didn't have a photo of  Pam and I together  so I  made hers with out a photo BUT I had this photo of  Linda and I,   Actually this photo of us  was taken  at Pam and Andrews  wedding  shower   we had at Linda's  house a few years back ..  it was a Hawaiian  themed wedding shower and what a blast that was ..   and not only  are Linda and I  summer girls   But I thought  this would remind us that Winter is Not  forever  and that Spring and Summer are just around the corner .. YAHOO actually  DID you know  that Day light saving time  starts March 9th YAHOO that will be here before we know it .. Have a  Great  weekend  girls... and  I will see you tomorrow .

Last night we had our  Candlelight  service  and also did a  surprise  Birthday  announcement  to our Pastor .. YUP His Birthday is Christmas Eve   Can you believe that ?  I made him the sweetest card for his Birthday ( I will share that  soon ) anyway   a group of us  went in together to get him Detroit  Piston tickets  for His Birthday .. But last night we just gave him the Pistons  schedule  so he  and Robyn could  actually pick a the best night  for them to attend .. How exciting Cause He soo loves the  Detroit Pistons .  Then this past weekend  Jessie had her  class  Christmas party and I made 18 of the snowman candy bar wrappers  for her to hand out to all her  friends and teachers  I also made up an extra 25  for the secretaries  Desk for her to hand out  too . ( Just spreading Christmas Joy ya know ) wink wink ...  Anyway here is a picture of a few of the  girls  that received  the snowmen from Jessie .. Cute huh? and then  all my Sunday school kids  got their goody bags  of snowman  yummies But guess what the biggest hit was ? Yup  the snowman candy wrappers  here are a few of my SS kiddies with their snowmen  too ... Next  My best friend Linda came in  our room  and well Lets just say now you all know  why I love her so Much .. 2 peas in a pot we are .. goof balls  and kids at heart... I  am making  these  cute holders  for snowman kisses ( Isn't that cute "snowman kisses " ) .. I  was playing today and  I seen these cute Snowmen  from the  Mini  Called TAGS FOR ALL     I just love these cute snowmen  and thought  I would  do the  Omitting technique  and  just add the   cute snowmen  to my card .. also with the WINTERGREEN DS paper  ( that is  retiring this month ). I use Soft sky  Cardstock  for  the base of my card  and I also used  my star dust gelly  roll  pen  for  my  doodle dots along the edge of the DS paper . Let it snow !!

Ok   Lets just say I'm  not really praying for snow , BUT it  especially pretty on Christmas Day. Then it  can all go away  as far as I am concerned  :-)  any who .. Thought you  would like to see the  cards I gave away on my  other blogs this morning ( My Glitter Queens  blog & Counting my  Blessing  blog )  I just love COLD PLAY  and sooo very sad it is going  away forever .. BUT at least I  got my  set .DO you have  yours ? Chocolate Kisses ..

Hi girls .. Are these the cuttest things you  ever seen ? I  had to make  some for my  girls that came to my  Christmas stamp camp  as a small  Christmas gift  to them  from me ..  They are sooo easy to make  and I Just love them . I used the buckaroo blue cardstock ( retired  last year)  and  alittle white detail embossing  and  tone on tone stamping was done to  create the  fancy  holders .. Here are the measurements  5 x 5 1/2 piece of Cardstock  score on the 5" side  at  1 1/2 , 2 1/2  & 4  thats it   form  your holder into a  triangle  and seal with sticky  strip  easy peasy ... Here is the side view of  mine  . I  got  about 5 kisses  lined up inside  just ran a  strip of  snail adhesive  down the  center   bottom  area  and  then  stuck the candies  to it  then sealed the holder shut ..  Make sure all your stampin and whatever you  want to do for decorating the  holders is  done before you  add candy & seal  everything up. Goodies from my Christmas stamp camp ...

This past Saturday night I held my  Christmas Stamp camp and here  are just a couple  goodies we made  at this event .. I really  dont know  what was more fun  stamping or laughing  with my  friends.. I do believe  for me personally it must have been the fun  and laughter with my  friends.  This event   was  sooo much fun ,Not only  were the projects liked by my  girls  BUT it  was the  joking and laughing  and just being with them that was the best ..   so many things  we laughed about. Here are a couple I want   to share  .. BUT I am sure you  just had to be there  to enjoy   it fully .. 1st was the present  I shared with them that I got  for my hubby  to give to his friend Andrew  at church ....( lets just say passing gas will never  be to same for them again ..LOL ) Or maybe it was the  little  Friendship  saying my daughter told me  that  got us  laughing  so early in the evening ..  Ok here is one .. Friendship is like ....peeing in your pants ... Everyone  can see it , BUT only you  can  feel it .. Hee! Hee!  Then  lets not get started  with all the Thanking everyone  with their NAMES LOL .. Seriously  I can not even express this one. I would not  know where to even begin .. Every time it happened  we all busted out  laughing ... What a  awesome  bunch of Friends I have  and what a Blast  this  past Saturday  was..

We all made 3 gift bags with 3 matching bows, and 3 matching gift tags  , then 2 money cards and  also  the double pouch gift bag with  matching 4 notecards & enevelopes ..( stay tuned for that photo  soon )

Look what I made this weekend ...

  Oh My goodness these snowflakes are sooo  addicting  and fun to make  I really was on a roll  Friday  night . Hee! Hee!  I figured  that since we are not putting up a Christmas Tree this year  I would make  ornaments  using the  chip board ornaments from the last mini  along with the  WINTERGREEN DS paper  These are the ones I have made so far . These are hanging on the  inside   center space in my  entertainment  center . I would  show you  what I looked like after I glittered  them all BUT I  couldn't take a photo of my self sooo just think of me looking like a human disco ball :-)  What a Great  time   glitter and I had together  dancing and swirling  under  the  spotlights in my  stampin room . I used the  retired  Stampin'Up! Glitter  from the glitter stack I believe  called Sea Foam (?)  and of course dazzling diamonds . For the huge  Snowflake  with glitter I used  SU! Heat and stick  to apply  the sparkles , for the others I used   the 2 way glue pen ..  I  also used SU!  glue stick ( Love this stuff)  to apply   the DS paper to the chip board  ornaments  I love how you  can  move the designer paper  around a  bit after laying it down  when you use this fabulous  glue  stick ... You may have to  let it  sit  a little bit longer  before you  take the  sanding block to it BUT  that was no problem  since  I just kept moving  along  and  putting  them together . Then the  final  touches with the sanding block and adding  glitter  & GOLD BRADS   with my  Crop a dile ( Love this tool but you already know that HUH? )  was the highlight of making these .. Dont you love making  something and seeing  it  all unfold right before your eyes ..  I Love, Love, Love it !!

Flip flap fold card ( Try and say that fast 3 times )

This card  is showcased in the technique  Junkies online resources  and I just love  it .. I used 2 sets  to complete my  flip flap  card  and  bashful blue and Buckaroo ( retired ) card stock was used  along with whisper white ..  the sets  are SNOWFLAKE SPOT and Merry ( retired )  and of course dazzling  diamonds on this one  girls  the background  on the left is  from the stamp set Snowflake  spot and I also added  white gel pen doodle dots ( again )  and the 3 punches I used were the 1 1/4 , 1 3/8  circle punches  and the scallop punch with the   wish  stamp from the set Merry . I Then  used my  SPONGE  with bashful blue  around the edges ..

Dawns Side note : I just love the  sponges and the  soft look it  gives  when you  want to  give a finished look to your  projects .. remember   you get 3  full size sponges for 3.50   BUT you  can cut these into quarters and get a total of 12  wedges , Fabulous  because  you  will then  have  one sponge  for  each color in  1 of our  fabulous color groups ( So  for  that  inexpensive price  you could buy 4 packs of sponges  and have one for  all 48 colors  ..)

Here is what my  Flip flap card looks like when opened .. I also used  my sponge in Bashful blue  to   smear over top of the MERRY  on left hand side .. the saying on the  right is from the MERRY  stamp set  also  .. Oh my goodness  girls we are getting  so close to Christmas ..  I am sooo excited .. Even though we are not  celebrating  Christmas  ON Christmas day since hubby  will be home  after the big day    and we will not be  putting up any of our usual Christmas  decorations .BUT I am planning on making stars  and   Christmas ornaments  to  Grace my  BIG bay window and  my entertainment  center to give  us some festive spirit  until Hubby comes home YIPPEE!! All I want for Christmas  is my hubby wrapped up in  a BIG RED bow  how awesome is That?

Using some retired goodies from last year ..

For my card today I used last years  "In "color  called  Buckaroo blue  and  the set is also  from last years retired list  called MERRY . This is when the Retirement list is Great cause you  get the   goodies  you really   really want,  So when they are gone forever you wont CRY

  I  thought I would try out a couple  of this months   Technique  Junkies   tech. This is  the 1st one I made  with the technique called  burnished   embossing .. Even  though I have been doing this  technique for  a long time, I never new  there was a name for it .. Go figure .. anyway  I just love the way it  turned out  .. I didn't think it needed any glitter  since its  soo cute just as it is , BUT I did add  some white gel pen doodle dots   since this set didnt have a smaller snowflake .The dots filled in  some empty space ..  so what do you think ?  Hope you like it .. If ONLY I didnt  go ahead and make  all my  Christmas cards  already Cause this would have  been it ... OH well there is always next year  right ?  This card   is a 4 1/4 X  4 1/4  sq Thought that would be a fun size  for this card ..

Double slider card ...

OH  My I forgot how much I love bashful blue and lavender lace  colors together... I made this Double  slider  & it was  Super fun and easy  as long as you have the word window punch .. I used  SNOWFALL stamp set   along with  Black , whisper white & bashful blue  cardstock . Lavender  lace  ink was also used with bashful blue for the  snowflakes and stars .

Here is what it looks like when You pull the black gingham ribbon  TA... DA...  a  double  slider  pops out .. cute HUH? I had to  stamp the LET IT SNOW 3 times  just cause the song says it 3 times I guess  :-)

We  actually got  some snow yesterday YUCK ! .. talk about being COLD Thank goodness for  auto start on my car .. Thank you LORD!!  Have a fabulous snowy day girls ..

Wrapping some presents ..

Yesterday was a day for  wrapping a few presents  that are heading out of state  so I thought I had better get busy .. and here is what I got  done  so far ..  doesn't look like  much But  making the bows to match and  making the gift tags  was alot of  fun   and   gee whiz  It actually  went  quicker than I had planned ...  Just love the  combo  of  the blue and chocolate  colors    The  blue  presents are for guys and the brown are for gals ..  pretty cute  I think .. even though I may need  a wrapping  presents  class 101 BUT in my  defense   A few of them were oddly  shaped  soooo thats my  excuse .. wink wink ..  Contact me  for your Christmas  goodies... OH Christmas Tree ...

  Whats Funny is when I  was playing around with my  set ( PERFECT PRESENTATION ) and seen this  tree I  started  thinking of this song .. I  got to use my  poor cuttle bug that has been so Neglected  lately ..( Poor baby )    Mr  cuttle Bug  worked  over time with just this 1 card.  I  cuttle bugged everything  on this card with  the SNOWFLAKES embossing folder .. How fun is that ? This is   really a easy  card  and was a  fun time  using the   Glitter Stack ~ Retired~ ( See 2nd photo)   for the stars    Boy I wish  they would bring the glitter stacks back ! Everythingis pretty much certainly  celery  and whisper white  except  for the  stars of course  then I added celery GG ribbon .. Thanks  for  stopping by today  Hope you  come back tomorrow.

Cracking myself up ...

Ok  I must admit  I  do believe this has  got to be the  silliest Christmas card that I have ever made . The  weird thing  about this  card is that I seen this  in a movie Jessie and I watched the other night called

"Christmas Do over "  and OH my Jessie and I both looked at each other and  said  that would be such a cute card .. so Guess what ? TAAA DAAA  here is the card girls ..  Even  though I really do love peas .. But  its  what  it  says  when you  say the  greeting really  fast that makes me  PIMP ( Pee in my pants )  I hope you all get a chuckle out of my  creation today ..

I got  this beautiful  Christmas card  from my  friend  & Stampin Queen  Laurie .. she actually  gave me this at this months  East side  club meeting  Is this adorable or what ? She used so many of  my  favorite things .. Scallop punch , ticket punch FROSTY  for one and  also the Designer paper WINTERGREEN  and lets not  forget the dazzling diamonds  also Hee! Hee! Thank  you  so Much Laurie .. It is sooo awesome .. 

Then look what I  got  at Thanksgiving this year ( OK actually  everyone that came to Thanksgiving at her home  this year got to pick one  to take home  From Ruthie  But of course mine   is the prettiest  Hee! Hee!! ) .. This adorable Christmas  Star ornament  ( which you  can see  them all unfinished and ready to purchase HERE  BUT act quick cause these will be  gone at the end of this month  girls ) is  from my  favoritest cousin ( Ruthie )  It  sure  is a beauty  huh? Love all the sparkle  and  love the Wintergreen  DS paper .. Well it sure seems this is the hot  pack of  DS paper to use this year  huh girls . wink wink !! Thank you  both so  much  for  such these adorable  gifts ..

Busy today ...

Hi girls  double post today .. I thought I would show you  what I have been doing today ..  Stamping  of course .. I  have been  in the Christmas mood  this weekend ..  so Today I started making  my Sunday  school kids their  gifts this year ..  The more I get  done and out of the way  the more I  can do  other things   wink wink ..    You all have  seen most of these goodies   already ( Peek a boo box, & snowman  candy  wrappers  )  BUT  not all  together in this snowman  grouping...  I just love  these snowmen ..  and it seems so much better   all together  HUH? Star Burst Snowman ...

Howdy girls .. Not to sure  what this technique  is called  I recall something about  Rediform  but its not  coming to me  anyway  so I will call it  The Star Burst just cause it looks  like a star  HUH? anyway I  will post the tutorial for this Hopefully in the  next couple of days  stay tuned ..  I used  the WISHING YOU CHEER  for the  center image Whisper white cardstock  and  Bashful  Blue ink was used  and  my SU! markers were used to color  in the snowman  and then added dazzling  diamonds ..  such a simple card  don't you agree ?

Saturdays workshop with Holly ...

This past Saturday afternoon  I did  my Friend Holly's workshop  and these  were a couple of  the goodies I gave her  along with one of the M&T's we did  at  her WS . The slider  even though it has a  Reeses peanut butter  cup candy bar in this photo  I switched it  to Hot cocoa  at the last minute .. Only  because it seems to  go with her  Christmas Themed  workshop alot  better..  The  little  basket holds  York pepper mints patties  which were  covered  with the scallop punch in Real red ..   The MERRY & BRIGHT stamp set was used for  all these goodies  in this photo  along with the Dashing  designer paper .  Thanks so much for  stopping by  &  sharing a  bit of your day with me  .. OH MY !!

We have  just about a 2 weeks until the  retirement  list will be  announced ( Dec 1st ) .. Are you all excited ?  and then the REAL excitement  starts with the new   catalog  coming January 1st .. I love New Stampin goodies  and with 2 catalogs a year now  there will not be a shortage  of new things to  get .I am guessing there  will not be a HUGE retirement list  this time ( But who knows?? ) But once they are gone they will be  gone forever  so Don't let the retirement  list pass you  by  without getting the goodies you really  really  want . I thought  I would share the  2 cards I gave away  this past Friday  on my OTHER BLOG   with all of you  today ..  Hopefully you  took advantage of this set ( WISHING YOU CHEER )  when you  could  get it  for 20% off  up till Nov 3rd .. It is  truly  one of the sweetest  sets  I have .. For  some reason  when I made this snowman card It looks  sooo   3-D... I didn't  do anything   special  with the coloring , Just used the SU! markers  thats  it .. I  think it's the  small details in these  stamps  images that make them sooo stinkin  cute ... I just love this tiny snowman . look at all the glitter  Gotta love  all that too .

Remembering Our   Veterans  today ..

  Here are a couple photos of my hubby  while he  was serving  our country  in the  US Navy Seabees  for 6 years 1988-1993  . These photo were taken of him while  he was serving in Desert Storm  in 1991. ( if you  click on the  1st photo  to make larger you can see  the 8x10 photo of him and I  hanging  from the tent  frame . Boy   we were  soo  young in that photo ..) Who would have thought that after he  got out of the US Navy Seabees  he would be  in Iraq  as a Electical sub  contractor 14 years later .. God Bless all our  Veterans

Super cute treat holder ...

This  adorable treat holder is small but packs alot of  punch .. I actually made mine a  tad bit  smaller then the directions  mentions  so  you  can  have a whirl at it  also and make your own  size .. This  cute  treat holder   idea  came  from  my  stampin friend  Wendy Hawkinson  her directions will be listed at the  bottom ..

anyway  the  1st photo is  what the front looks like closed,   then  the next photo shows the side view of this  holder . I used the  scallop punch  to  circle  around the  York peppermint patty  and you  can  see that alittle better  the  the 3rd photo  when the treat holder is opened ..

I  secured  the  patty  in the center of the scallop punch out with a  mini  glue dot.I used real red , whisper white & always artichoke card stock with  always  artichoke GG ribbon   MERRY & BRIGHT stamp set with the saying  from SO MANY SAYINGS .

Yesterday was  alot of fun  meeting up  with Sharon here she is  with her  give of 236 cards for the troops  she gave me ( We surpassed the 6000 mark for Cards for the troops  girls YAHOO  so exciting ).. We  ended up eating at MR .PITA since there wasn't anything  else near by   But Mr Pita is still sooo yummy  but the  time with Sharon  was even better   Thank  Sharon  for the  double treat yesterday  girlie . It was  alot of fun! Here  she is again with her  pretty  red mustang .. Pretty  snazzy  huh?

DIRECTIONS  :

Cardstock 3 1/4 X 9 5/8 ( mine is  cut  at 2 1/2 X 9 5/8)

Score at 3, 3 3/8, 6 3/8 and 6 3/4

**note the 3 inch is the front of your box.

Punch a 1 3/8 square centered in the other end for your candy. I used the scallop punch on mine )   

Use adhesive to secure the top of  this flap so it doesn't move.

Decorate.

Flaky friends ?

Yes we all have them  thats why this  set FLAKY FRIENDS is a MUST MUST MUST for your holiday card making  I just love the  saying  that  is in this set .. Some of my  best friends are Flakes "  You have got to love that  right ? what a HOOT  that is and these snowmen  are adorable  No matter what color  markers you use on all their Fabulous accessories ..  and another MUST have  is the  TAFFETA RIBBON .OH my goodness girls ..  This ribbon ROCKS!! and I am NOT  saying that lightly  either  . From your 1st  knot  to your fancy bow  you will fall in love with this  ribbon ..  and  Just take  a look at all the colors it  come in .. The only problem ( if this is a problem ) would be  that  you will have a Hard time choosing which  color/s you want .. OK  buy all 8  shades of them then the  choosing   wont be so hard Hee! Hee!  I used chocolate on my  project  today and   This photo  just can't  not  show you how  it feels  and the  shine it has ..  HUMMMMM  maybe  thats the shine from the glitter ... Just kidding  seriously  this ribbon  is totally  awesome  girls .. Cho. chip cardstock for base  and  Regal  Rose and Pretty in Pink for  main image layers  

Speaking of flaky friends  I am meeting  with my  dearest flaky friend Sharon ( she knows I am JK  about the flaky part  right girlie? even though her last name starts with a F ... Hee! Hee! ) today for lunch   at MR.PITA on  Telegraph rd. in Southfield .. BUT we may not stay there  to eat  since   Sharon  wants to  sit and be served .. OK  maybe I do to :-) .... We will be catching up  on stamping things  and  she has a BIG  box of Cards for the troops ( over 200   I think was the last count )   she will be  giving to me  today for our troops .. PLUS I get to see her pretty fancy Mustang  again ..  Sharon and I go back  a  ways   God is sooo awesome!   Bringing    stampers together  since we may never have met  other wise ..  I actaully met Sharon  on a yahoo group I am on  and  we also met at convention   and to think we both live in Michigan  and would have never met   if we didnt  have SU! as a common link  to our  wonderful  friendship

Sweet Saturday ...

Howdy  girls :

I thought  for today I would share   this  card I made for my  other blog COUNTING MY BLESSING "this past week .. On  my other Blog I have a "Thankful Tuesday " and  give out a card that is posted   on  the  Thankful Tuesday post on  Friday  and this happens to be the card  I gave out  yesterday to Dale Marie  who lives in Canada  YAHOO!! . Actually  I do not own this set ..It is my  sweet  Mommy's  set .. It is in the   current MINI  and I  just had to use it  when she  got it ..  This was the  1st card I made with it  and Looking  forward to borrowing it  again in the future  for more beautiful Christmas cards ..   This  card looks  sooo  elegant to me   and It  really looks like there was alot  to do  But it was only  embossing  with  the  SU!   Gold  detail  embossing  powder  and the  versa mark pad .. I  also used the retired  wheel "Star studded "  for the  sides of this card  and I then  used my  Ziggy  pen to add the gold  dots  randomly  to the  wheeled out  image. I used my hobby knife to  cut the center  of the tag   image ( which is also in this set )  and then layered that on top of the angel which was also   embossed in  gold   all she has  added extra to her is dazzling  diamonds .. The  frame is popped up on  dimensionals  .  I also used  my  ticket  punch for the  corners and then added a  gold  brad   next to  each  punch out .. Then to  finish off the card I add a  snip of  gold  cording and tied  that into a  small bow .. Card stock I used  was  Always artichoke  and  Brushed  Gold  along with Whisper white ..   Hey you have  something your Thankful  for  and   want to share with  us  on my  other blog? Merry & Bright file card

Hi girls: This morning I will be going to get my  teeth cleaned . Then   to do  alot of errands .. I  thought I would share my   little  accordian  file tag book.  I actually made the  tag book last month  and  totally  forgot to share it  with you all  .  Thought  it would be a good  time  to show it off  since I am in a Christmas  mood and Halloween is  over with , Its time to move on to the Best Holiday ever .

           I just    Christmas.

I used  the Merry and Bright stamp set and Dashing  Designer paper  for my  manilla file  folder card . Cute huh ? and since  the designer paper is  double sided  I just added  many of the  different  sides  on this one   project . This is  a smaller version  of the  larger  manilla file folder  cards  out there, I just used  1/2  of a file ( one  side ) I  folded  the  bottom   edge  up about 2'' or  so  depends on what size folder you  have , you can make the pockets as  deep as  you want  really , Then  once you have  the  bottom edge  folded up  then fold  your  file in half( like closing a book )  then  fold each  of the sides  back to meet at the center ..  easy peasy ..  I also used the scallop punch  and  1 3/8  circle punch  all from SU ! of course . Here is what it looks like opened.

Each tag  slides out of the pocket  where a photo can  be added .I just love  this set Merry and Bright .  Who would have thought  such a  simple  4 image  stamp set could  get so much mileage  in  ink ..Hee! Hee!

Snowmen & Glitter..

Don't you  love  SU! dazzling  diamonds .. I think I  would take a bath in it if I could :-)  Funny  thing  is  this just about  happened  cause at  our East side  club in Warren Michigan . I almost spilled  my   tub of dazzling diamonds onto the floor  But  caught  it before it  left the  edge  of the table   I  think I lost my  breath  for a  couple seconds..  Then  Carol  said if I would have spilled it on the floor  she  would have   got on the floor and rolled around in it .. FUNNY  thing is  We   both  would have looked like   disco balls  when we got up .. BUT OOO WEEEE  we would have  been sooo sparkly .. This  snowman card  design  are what my  club girls  recieved in October for their hostess month ( Trish & Kelsey )  They  got a pack of  10 of these cute snowman cards .. pretty simple card  I just added  little  doodle  squiggles  around the  snowman frame .. I also used the  SO many saying ( Hostess  level 1 set .. Remember I cut all those up ?)   in the bottom  corner .. I just love this card , Simple & NO layers gotta love that right girls ?
