Buzzin' By Shadow box ..
Holy Moly we got some snow this weekend , seems like I was forever shoveling .. As soon as I would make a path it was covered again .. If there ever was a year I wish I had a snow plow it would be this winter BUT I have been very blessed with the sweetest man who lives 2 doors down from us and he has a plow and he has been doing my sidewalk and the end of my driveway ..
What a Blessing ..
While I was snowed in I made this shadow box using the "Just Buzzin' by"# 113228 stamp set .
Oh my goodness It really looks like I need to branch out with my colors a wee bit when using this stamp set. Seems like I'm using Black and yellow's alot huh?( I used Summer Sun for my sample today ). I will "TRY" and see what I can do about using other colors with this set.. ( not making any promises though) :)
The only good thing is that My YoYo Yellow is finally being used ( ALOT) and not just sitting there :) I do find this color ( yoyo yellow) difficult to use. Maybe I should break out my color coach and see what I can come up with .. another difficult color for me to use is Brillant blue so maybe I could pair those 2 up for a future stamping date :)
What color/s are alittle difficult for you to use ?
Have a Fabulous Monday and Thank you so much for stopping by .
P.S You can view my shadow box video HERE ( This video is one I made when I 1st started making videos)
See you tomorrow
Until later.. Happy Stampin!
xo
Dawn

Hi Dawn,
I use Yo yo Yellow alot because I absolutely adore my Just B stamp set. I find it difficult to use Only Orange.

Love this card. I'm kind of dense, though - where would you sign it?

Hi Dawn, love the color combination.I don't use yellow so much. Your cards inspired me, so keep the yellow coming. Greetings from my Sunny island. Thanks for sharing

Hi Dawn what a great card and I know what you mean about the yo yo yellow although I do love it with basic black. I was going to try using real read and pretty in pink for a Valentin bee I will let you know how that goes.
Please wish your Mom a very Happy Anniversary and I am sure your Dad is smiling down on all of you and is so very proud.
Hope you all have a great week and TFS.

I have trouble with Taken with Teal and Garden Green. I think bees just lend themselves to yellows and blacks. I have enjoyed all your buzzin samples!

I have trouble using the rich regal, mainly hunter and burgundy for anything other than Christmas.
I'd love to see photos of your stampin area/room.
Blessings!

I know what you can do with blue! Use it for the wings with some glitter! My lil ones has tons of books, and in one there is a cute lil bee with blue wings that shimmer. I cannot wait until these new items are up for us to purchase! This set is definetly on my want list!

Good morning Dawn, I would swap your snow for our heat any day. We have gone from 22c yesterday to expected 37c today, it is to big of jump, you can always rug up to be warm but not strip off to cool off. Back to cards, I have never used Taken with Teal, Garden Green or Handsome Hunter. Have a great day.

Guess I have trouble with most of the greens, except celery...which I love. I don't use many of the bold brights either....we're getting snow here too. Our flurries turned into another 6 inches. Yuck-ready for warmer weather!

Hey Dawn, I'm in agreement on Yoyo Yellow. When I became a demo I invested in a 24-pack (gradually) of each color, and that was the only one I hadn't opened up until this past summer (over 1 year later). I recently did use it on a CASE of one of your cards with Pacific Point though!
I tend to be an Earth Elements/Rich Regals type - not as much on the Bold Brights or Soft Subtles. Don't know why - they are all good colors!

Hello Dawn, I'm sure it's yo-yo yellow that I have never used. Looking forward to the bee stamp set and maybee I can use some. Lots of snow here, as well...some ice jams on the river already. Mary JO
