Thankful for ...

Yesterday I got a ton of things done ..  But 1st I would like to   show you what was in my mail box  a couple  days ago ..   Never have heard of this adhesive before until I popped in on my Friend Marys Blog .. and guess what the best part is that I recieved all these  for FREE ..  Hey Free is Great right ?  Right On! I have only tried  the UHU scrapbooking pen  out of the 3 she sent me so far  and Love Love Love it ..    I am always looking for the next best  thing in the adhesive dept.  So it surprised me that I had never  heard of UHU  products .. .. Thank you Maria and Rebecca  for giving   these wonderful new  toys to me

I made this card  with the UHU  scrapbook pen I just had to try it out   yesterday  when I was making a Birthday card   and well even though you cant see  the underneath  where the adhesive is I am very pleased with the way it  holds and  goes on really smooth .. and not only that But I really like the  design of this card also Hee! Hee!

I used silly sea life  stamp set with watercolor paper ( love this stuff )  I also used cool carribean  and certainly celery  with Black Cardstock  accessories I used the white gel pen ( of course  for the dot doodles ) and the aqua painter  with cool  carribean reinker to color in my image final  touch was the celery GG ribbon with a vintage brad ( black )   I made 2 of these cards since we cut 1 piece of CS into 2 way not right .. One went  to  one of my glitter queens for reaching her  consistency counts  goal last  quarter ( way to go Kelly )  & this card is going to a special  young lady on her birthday   this Friday .

Yesterday while I was packaging up my  packs of cards (6 for 10.00 ) I had an idea to stamp the  saying on the inside  on a small piece of cs to attach to the backside of the  tied up  cards so buyers can view what the saying is on the inside with out  having to open the  cello back up   look  here and see what I mean this is the front side  and then look at the backside  ..  I will slide these into  a large  cello bag with my business card and  tape shut  .. So far I have 4 packaged up  like this ..( all 4 packages  are  different design but I love this snowman pack  alot ..) 

BUT guess what??

I ran out of envelopes ..OH NO I must find more   reg envelopes for my hubby packs I cant believe I ran out ..  worse comes to worse I will not make the hubby packs .. I could  make the hubby packs out of   Note cards ( 3 1/2 X 5 size ) what do you all think about  me making them in that size  ? 

Jessie is off school for the rest of the week  for the Thanksgiving  holiday .. SO you know you what that means ?? a   Long stamping day for me ..  I have to make up for the NO   stamping day on  Thanksgiving  since   We all are going over my  cousin Ruthies house  ( very excited about   being  with her and  my family  tommorrow ) Hope your Thanksgiving is  wonderful  tommorrow  and  remember   even though its Thanksgiving tommorrow we should be  Thankful everyday  right ?  Right! Right.. It seems  right after Halloween the media/ stores skip right to Christmas ..HELLO  Lets not rush it  already .. It  will not feel like  our Typical  Thanksgiving here in Michigan  since it is suppose to reach  the mid 50 degree mark tommorrow  YAHOO !  We usually have snow by now .. But nothing on the ground Yet Praise God and I am Thankful for that  Hee! Hee!

Dawn, seems that the note card size would be a good size for the hubby packs as most hubbys wouldn't send them thru the mail anyhow, they would just leave them for their wives to find.

Dawn, I love your cards!!! Thanks for the inspirations!! Hey, I think that Staples should have some envelopes that are the same size as SU envelopes. They are not quite as nice, but will do in a pinch!!

I agree. I think the note card size envelope will be great! Most men do not care if there is an envelope for the card and most women would be happy just to get a card from hubby. :)
