Today's quick tip is the DTP or the Direct To Paper technique .
I will be using the Bordering Blue card stock # 102630 & the Bordering Blue Classic ink#102265
To view the video I made back in Aug on how I did the main image of my card using the Hostess level 1 Patterned Pines stamp set click HERE .
For my main image I used the Bordering Blue marker #100070 with the Night of Navy marker #100069
Have fun !
Until later.. Happy Stampin!

Awesome tip! What would I do without you for inspiration??????

I love this technique. Be sure to try it, using two or more colors of pigment based inks or light colored paper. It really gives an almost marbled effect with lots of depth and movement. The pigment ink has "open" time before drying so you can blend the colors without any harsh lines. It's so addictive and before you know it, you'll have a stack of beautiful background papers. You can stamp right on top of it too!!
